BoleAndFish: Chai this picture is making me start to feel pity for Messi.
When you publicly announce to the world that you're the Greatest of all time (with an actual living goat LMFAO) you must be ready to live up to the hype.
It's funny how we're now hearing how Messi doesn't play with good players and how the coach is shìt.
If this was happening with Ronaldo (as it did in 2014 WC cup) where he played with injuries. . . The media will lay the blame solely on his neck. No one would blame coach or his teammates.
usbcable: Am pretty sure he will tell you he loves the way Barca plays tiki-taka while also still loving our unpredictability.
Abeg let's just leave him alone jars and continue to hope for a nice outing for Super Eagles at the world Cup as well as all Madrid players
I have no problem with him saying Messi is the GOAT. Most of us here actually respect Messi as a player but we prefer Ronaldo, we only troll Messi cause of what Ronaldo suffers in the hands of both the media and Cules belittling him every chance they get. But to boldly say we are deceiving ourselves for thinking Ronaldo is the GOAT. . .especially by a Madrid supporter, that just takes the cake. Utterly disrespectful.
It's been sad for African teams. I've wasted time I wouldn't ever get back watching all their matches and it's been depressing seeing how they've fallen apart, aside Senegal.
Moreover, although they got chances, Portugal also had a few that should have been tucked away as well.

Lol. Monerozi once said. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MESSI. THE TRUE GOAT, WE'RE JUST DECEIVING OURSELVES IF WE THINK OTHERWISE"
And he typed that on this thread. Dude can't wait for to Ronaldo leave Madrid.
Miremoses1: she's not the mother of Cristiano junior and she's not the mother of those twins. Get your facts right bro.
Where did I say she's Junior or the twins mother? I said she's a mother to them but not their birth mother. If you follow her Instagram you'll see what I'm talking about.
homesteady: At least someone is admitting that Ronaldo made such a comment. Should I ask you if the statement was proper for a matured sportsman? It's Ronaldo, so of course, you'd say Yes.
Guy the Ls you packed this night alone eh, just add some to your will so your kids can inherit.
Nihilstjnr: Ronaldo: Won Euro 2016 Iceland: Didn't podium place in the competition so ultimately didn't do anything Messi: Still missing penalties like Faith Evans and Puff Daddy Tesppidd: Still hoovering up the Ls
Miremoses1: Patrice Evra: "Cristiano's a machine. He was playing table tennis and Rio beat him and we were all screaming. Ronaldo was so upset. Then he sent his cousin to buy a table tennis. He trained for two weeks and came back and beat Rio in front of everyone. That’s Cristiano.”
Wow. Michael Jordan, the GOAT in Basketball did exactly this. Except his was with ping pong.
LordAdamX: Yea, only reason anyone called Messi sh*t was because you messi fangurls put it in everyone's face that Messi was the 8th wonder, called CR7 sh*t first, and made it seem like Messi didn't get any help whatsoever from Xavi and Iniesta (people he actually shared the Ballon D'Or top 3 with... France Football apologized to Iniesta for not giving him a Balon D'Or; still waiting for Modric to get such an apology). Or like CR7 wasn't doing anything.
Now Modric and Kroos do same, and all you guys are mad. What's the issue with you guys really?
And look at you trying to start a furore. Ronaldo had 3 consecutive bad world cup games. He was playing through an injury dumba$$. See how you guys create problems and unnecessary pressure for your maestro.
God help you guys and Messi doesn't win this WC, you'd see the very definition of a flame bashing. You guys never learn.
It's how you f*ckers were calling Ronaldo, Penaldo; and now confirm that Messi shouldn't take penalties anymore because he sucks at them. Who woulda thought scoring a penalty would require such difficult skill. Hopeless bunch!
In 2007 when Kaka, CR7, LM10 were the top 3, Ronaldo fans had nothing awful to say about Kaka or Messi. 2008 when CR7, LM10, and Torres were the top 3, Ronaldo fans had nothing awful to say about Messi. 2009, LM10 pipped CR7 to the Ballon D'Or thanks to a masterclass from Xavi (MOTM), Iniesta, and Messi in the finals; and all of a sudden Messi fans started disrespecting Ronaldo who had been exquisite for 3+ years. I can vividly remember comments after Messi's sick header.
By 2012, I don't think there was any Messi fan on the planet who even respected Ronaldo or what he was doing. Now the tables have turned completely, and you guys want us to play civil. Time's up schleprocks. CR7 started this dominance, look at his 2006 WC performance. Heck even his 2004 Euros performance was epic. All of a sudden 33-year old Ronaldo is unbelievable but 23-year old Ronaldo wasn't? I can bet none of you Messi fans saw this coming. After Spain dismantled Argentina in the friendlies, you guys believed they'd rape Portugal, because CR7 is only a poacher you said.
This is 33 yr old Ronaldo hitting 38km/hr against Spain.
23 yr old Usain Bolt average speed in the 2009 race that broke the World speed record was 37 km/hr (top speed was 44 km/hr).
Early this year, you dumbf*cks were calling Ronaldo finished! So how does a slow, aging, declining Ronaldo hit the best average speed of peak Bolt?
CR7 is the greatest of all time. There is no peak Cristiano Ronaldo. There's just Cristiano Ronaldo. You guys talk about 2009-2012 Messi, CR7 fans talk about a 2006-Present Cristiano Ronaldo.
Miremoses1: Croatia wasn't that superb if you ask me, they just played with experience, that first goal was an own goal(modric had a hand), second was a pen, which modric took with ease.
Nigeria can beat Iceland.
Nigeria cannot beat Iceland. It'll take a miracle.
AtYourCervix: Their argument is that he doesn't deserve to be paid as much as Messi and Neymar, these guys got their contracts under different circumstances. that's what Hopefu.lLandlord's argument was
He said Messi waited till he had a little over 6 months left and can legally sign a precontract with man city or PSG for free before agreeing a contract with Barca and He now earns 40% of their entire wagebill and on top of that still pay him under the table via his foundation. Neymar was a statement buy by PSG, a team we can't compete financially with so we should stop comparing them. a lot of our players can also earn more at PSG from Modrić to Carvajal to Kroos to Varane but they're here and none of you guys are fighting for them to be paid on par with the highest paid players in their positions like Modrić and Kroos earn less than Pogba, Oscar, Coutinho, De Buryne; Carvajal and Varane are earning less than Thiago Silva, Dani Alves, Van dijk
Madrid is not responsible for the wages other clubs are paying
Honestly I feel there's too much groupthink going on here and opposing opinions are made to look bad which might prevent certain opinions from being aired, it seems to be everywhere though as even Barca fans that raised issues with Messi's wages on reddit were also downvoted to hell by those not realising the financial problems it can lead to
A40: Naah Ronaldo is the GOAT. What else does he have to do? The funniest part is I knew he would score that free kick before he played it. Too clutch.
LordAdamX: The CR7 does NOT deserve a better contract crew!
We waiting. That's how they'll allow PSG to carry CR7 and they'd rest him throughout all the games and prepare him for UCL games (using derbies derbies and against bottom teams to boost his stats, impression, and to get him match ready). He'd win every trophy in France and prolly win the UCL for them.
How a Madrid fan after all CR7 has done for us can be so disrespectful beats me.

You never know what you truly have until you lose it.
The game was amazing. This is entertainment in its purest form. Costa's bullying. Isco's disco. Nacho's screamer. G.O.A.T masterclass. It had everything.
Portugal needs to do better at the back. They're usually more compact. It's Spain alright, but conceding 3 goals in a competitive game isn't their MO under Santos. Guedes was not up to scratch today. I hope he grows into the tournament and performs well.
Quaresma almost had a spectacular goal of his own in the latter stages.

Thank God you praised everyone before monerozi5590 starts with the whole "shinning the spotlight on only Cristiano" again
