philip0906: Complete bullocks!
You people think it is everybody in Nigeria that is poor. Some of us can pay for quality healthcare, some of us have comprehensive healthcare packages from our work place...but you know what, we'll pass on that.
The news is littered daily with gross incompetence from Nigerian doctors who have either misdiagnosed or applied wrong treatment regimen in patients leading to deaths and all. Thousands of Nigerians loose their lives yearly to doctors gross incompetence.
The Nigerian doctor is an empty nut head who is more interested in the prestige his Dr tittle accords him/her than getting the job done the right way.
You think your president, lawmakers and wealthy Nigerians who go outside the country for proper healthcare are silly? I won't even go near Nigerian doctors for a simple diagnosis... Incompetent lots This gross generalization is very unfair. Maybe you lost a loved one to misconduct by a doctor but that's just one doctor. There's still some good highly competent doctors who still give as much as they can. And sometimes the Nigerians who travel across the pond and beyond still get treated by Nigerian doctors who've migrated overseas. If thousands of Nigerians die due to negligence of doctors, Millions are saved by the actions of doctors. |

midnighter: Nah...He has a point
The doctors are a manifestation of the society that produced them. Its somewhat unfair to hold them to a higher standard than the government who messed things up in the first place.
Engineers, architects, police, all those people are also dealing with human life. Not just doctors
If the government would write and enforce good policies, we wouldnt be hearing all these stories. You can't compare how engineers, architects, police etc interact with and handle human life to the doctor's own role. Doctors' interactions are more intimate, more scrutinised, definitely more judged. Their actions will always be under a microscope even if the government writes and enforces good policies. |

capitalzero: most people here are abusing doctors. Ask yourself? Are you dedicated to duties in your respective offices? Many professionals have contributed to death of citizens directly or indirectly due to their unprofessional conduct than doctors? Architects, civil engineers, autotechnicians ,teachers, lecturers, uniformed men, bankers etc are also guilty of professional neglect. if you are corrupt, your action or inaction can harm someone. Doctors are products of society that does not appreciate values and good morals. You are actually not different from doctors you are blaming. You can't compare all those professions you listed above to doctors. I mean it's human life they deal with. You CAN'T be too careful. Most of these complains might be exaggerated but that just serves to remind doctors that they're always going to be under a microscope as long as they practice medicine. |

A couple of years back the video of JFK shooting fascinated me (in a rather disturbing way I must admit) especially the way Jackie flew off her seat and frantically tried to reattach and shove the scattered pieces of her husband's brains back into his open skull. Then she stood proud in a pink chanel suit soaked in his blood while America swore in his vice president inside Airforce One
I heard the suit was never laundered and will be displayed for the first time ever in the year 2103. Mad!! |

As a millionaire I expected some level of decorum now, but what do I know? This photo is just trashy.
Mercy no go reason well nao. The game has ended, it is time to conduct herself highly. Kylie Jenner, the alleged world's youngest billionaire posed for GQ magazine in a similar raunchy outfit with her then boyfriend Travis Scott who was dressed to the nines. She even posed nude for Playboy later on, again photographed by the said boyfriend. All the money in the world will not stop certain women from taking off their clothes. |

All dsame.. pharmacy is cool but not the toughest abeg. I once said I have pharmacy student now studying medicine in my class,
anyhow You still haven't grasp the point I'm trying to get across to you. Stop arguing and making unnecessary childish comparisons between MBBS and Pharm D/B Each has it's own scope, there is some overlap yes but that doesn't make one more important or "better" than the other. Just stop going around saying Medical students do everything Pharmacy students do. @bold Yes. I was taught pharmacology. I used Katzung, Lippincott and Rang and Dale. But all I did was pharmacology and toxicology. . .pharmacy students do faaaar more so stop limiting their scope to the small knowledge you have. |

kapelvej: Remember, medical students also do pharmacology, all you study as pharmacy student for 5 years, they do it for .6 years This is a BIG lie. I did Pharmacology for 20months during Path/Pharm. I was taught by renowned professors in Pharmacy. . .my viva lecturer was a Professor of Pharmacy and a former DVC from a federal university. Medical students only do Pharmacology and toxicology. . .which is a department in Pharmacy. You do so much more than Pharmacology when you're a Pharmacy student. There's absolutely no need for all this unnecessary comparisms |

meanwhile, Did I just here u say what is Pharm, ( I'm very sure u didn't study pharmacology like medic, probably hr scope of study didn't design it so coz I've never seen any of ur colleague with any of the standard books in Pharmacology. (kartzung, Goodman gilman, tripathy). I know u ll also feel u know anatomy with does papaer material self,
Linpincott has been the highest I've seen with material, please dont come here and tell me u guys did pharmacology with does Lippincott subtitles,)
I respect u guys coz ur scope of study is d only one close to my study but dont bite more than u can chew, how can u open ur mouth and say u did Pathology. haaa , no make person vex o coz i wont mind us drilling ourself pharmacologycally here . nawa o I've passed through Path/Pharm. My friend is also a Pharmacy student so we discussed alot when I was studying Pharmacology. Medical students do Pharmacology only which is just one department in Pharmacy. . . .there's more to pharmacy than pharmacology. There should be mutual respect between Doctors and Pharmacists. There's no need for insults and unhealthy rivalry. . .if he says he does pathology or there's nothing difficult in path/pharm just scroll past those comments because who nor go nor know. |

There was darkness, no water, and the grasses were 5ft, snakes rained from trees on students' heads and some fell from the hostel ceilings. People wrote professional exams in darkness and science students fled to UBTH to fetch water and read. And SUG, well they were sellouts. That man singlehandly fùcked 10,000 students with no remorse. |

Making sure that Uniben become one choice of university in Nigeria 4. Reduce the inherent cases of bribe, sex for grade and cultism After the hell the previous VC put us through we will gladly settle for: 1. Security 2. Light 3. Water 4. Trimmed grasses and hedges We just want basic amenities |

I expected her to churn out the best movies since funds isn't a problem to her but she has been disappointing me. Her only good movie was the royal hibiscus Hotel Even Royal hibiscus hotel was subpar. It's almost like she got the plot from a 90s harlequin recycled romance novel. MBBS- Latin for Medicinae Baccalaureus Baccalaureus Chirurgiae which translates to Bachelor of Medicine, bachelor of surgery is the degree awarded for students admitted into Medicine and Surgery. I'm not sure what paper they're asking you for, I thought clearance was supposed to start in January. |

lilytender: They cannot review their gun control law, it is a deliberate but unwritten Republican government policy to reduce the population of blacks. The blacks are giving birth to more children while whites don't even want yo go through the stress of pregnancy, birth and child raising. So the whites are scared that one day very very soon, the blacks will outnumber the whites. When this happens, then election into government positions would be won more by blacks. Therefore having no restrictions on gun possession can greatly help to reduce black population.
Go through the statistics of the victims, more blacks are killed by the different psycho shooters not to mention the unannounced gang wars and killings in black neighborhoods. Even when Democrats were in the White house, the second amendment was already set in stone. "Every American has the right to bear Firearms" no licence needed. This is bigger than both political parties. . . It's the National Riffle Association pulling all sorts of strings to ensure their pockets stay thicker |

Sterope: Mental illness is not an excuse.
When they claim that a white mass hooter is mentally disturbed, do you see comments emphatising with the shooter? Do they conclude that we should not blame him.
Elizabeth Holm's is a comparable example, are they making excuses for her?
Thoughts like yours justify fraud. It is the same thinking Naira Marley and his cohorts have. I would understand if this action benefits Nigeria in any way but it doesn't. I'm sorry but wtf are you talking about? Did you see me justify fraud in anything I typed? You said America doesn't make excuses for their mass shooters and I pointed out tons of scenerios where they do. Especially if he's white. An arab guy blew up the Boston marathon and it was labelled a terrorist attack. A black man with a licence to carry guy has a weapon and is instantly killed by the police in traffic. A black underage teenage boy plays with a toy gun and he's instantly killed by a cop. A white supremacist shoots down a school or a hispanic mall or a gay club and he's labelled disturbed or mentally ill and the cop manages to chain him down and arrest him. And FOX news tells us he's lonely and just being bullied hence his actions. America racially profiles people. Elizabeth today is not in jail, she's engaged to be married to a millionaire. If she was black, or hispanic. . . She'll be locked up for a long time. |

Sterope: They don't make excuses for their mass shooters. They don't downplay the grieve they cause to their victims.
However I am going to guess that you are talking about the ideological differences between the republicans and the liberals over gun rights. Which is entirely different from shielding fraudsters or giving them public support. The U.S makes excuses for mass shooters who are white and male. If he's a black man, he's a thug. If he's an Arab or a muslim, he's a terrorist. If he's a white man, he's mentally disturbed. And maybe lonely. |

theButterfly: Wash your hair regularly, as it's easy to neglect hair when wearing wigs. Massaging the scalp aids hair growth and one of the things I swear by. It will grow like weed, no joke. Lol. It's been more than a year since I made that post here. Thanks for the reply. I've been doing exactly what you typed sans the scalp massager because I don't actively pursue hair growth these days or take my hair too seriously for that matter. I just wash and deep condition twice a month and leave the hair in braids or flat twists and rock wigs. I've seen, like, immerse growth since then. Since I'm more interested in volume right now, (I want thick full HEALTHY hair) would you recommend rice water? And if yes, how do I get rid of the disgusting smell associated with it. |
