The girl doesn't have sense, especially if she's the one who is AS. As a lady, you have more to lose being in a relationship which lasts for a long time than a man. So be intentional and explicit about health issues earlier on. |

IMSU or Alvan Ikoku girls won't demand you take them to a nice restaurant or buy something nice for them? Besides, why does a man have to drive a smart ride if sex was free? Why not a bicycle? P.S. BTW, you have written on Nairaland on how your Ogas since 2006 have been paying humongous amount of money to girls. So, why are you surprised? Why don't you ask your Oga? |

Odotech: Infidelity is the curse of the south west people. The grand reason for their marital woes. Any lady marrying from there will just be used as a sample for toto experiment and dumped for another That's not true. Recently, I saw a data on Infidelity with the use of condom being use as the basis. The South West came third behind the South South and South East in Southern Nigeria. In fact, based on Islam, Yorubas can pride in "Infidelity" as Islam accepts polygamy. Also, AY isn't a Yoruba man. Cc: Objectivist04 |

when they tell una to travel and see una no gree. una just chose to hide for wasteland.
oga RCCG is in almost every nook and crannies in southeast and their pastors are yorubas! Agreed, but the majority of Igbos in the south east aren't RCCG members. That's my focal point. The Yorubaisation of RCCG is noted and accurate, but Igbos aren't majority members of the church. |
Christianity Etc › Re: RCCG Has Over 200,000 Pastors In Nigeria — Adeboye by YoshihideSuga: 12:17am On Apr 07, 2024 |
obiekunie01: actually 100% of them are yorubas.
even the ones pastoring their southeat branches are all yorubas!
the most tribalist set of people in Nigeria!
And their membership is 80% igbos!
is in every state, every local government and every town in Nigeria!
Same with Chosen! These are our own powerful churches! attend them!
rapu uka ndi Yoruba! That cannot be true. Although Igbos form the majority of Nigeria's Christian population, Igbos don't make up 80% of RCCG members, especially as RCCG is very conservative. Igbos might form a significant number of Winners Chapel members as it's more liberal than RCCG, but certainly not more than Yorubas. You forget that these churches are formed by Yoruba men and have more branches in the SW than elsewhere. |

franchasofficia: Evidence abound all over Nigeria bro.
In every Nigerian state you go to, after the indigenes of that state, Igbos are usually the second most successful tribe in that state and own most of the properties and solid buildings in that state after the indigenes of that state.
This alone is more than enough evidence and that is why your people call Igbos "developers".
One of your Obas once invited me through a friend and in that meeting the Oba said it that "you Igbos are agents of development in Nigeria and that is why I am inviting you people to our community to come and buy lands, I will make sure no indigene of this community rip you off and I will make sure your properties here are secured, so feel free to invite your fellow Igbo friends to come here and buy lands. Yoruba and Igbo are one, we intermarry a lot, we do mega What were his comments when Igbos were flogged during the 2023 elections in Lagos? |
Romance › Re: Unrealistic Dating Expectations Of Both Genders by YoshihideSuga: 3:53pm On Apr 04, 2024 |
franchasofficia: Very correct. It is highly impossible to find a Nigerian man below 32yrs that is rich and single. guy that is rich, tall, handsome, born again and faithful as boyfriend lol Don't must happen.
And for the guys, unless you are financially successful that you can comfortably buy a car of 10million without stress, you own a good car worth 7m above in Naija, you earn a legitimate income of at least 800k and above every month, my brother forget about getting that tall, slim big ass, firm boobs, flat tummy, glowing skin under 28yrs chick, just manage your Wunmi, Amaka and Onome in peace until your money reach lol.
Yes you can be lucky, but even when you are lucky to hook one of your pretty village chick or your pretty classmate or street babe or lesson class hottie, she will fly away if you remain broke Na your definition of being young and rich as a Nigerian man? |
Romance › Re: Unrealistic Dating Expectations Of Both Genders by YoshihideSuga: 3:50pm On Apr 04, 2024 |
Thank you bros.
Na so I read for Facebook where one woman dey advocate for men to be faithful. In my books, you cannot demand for a financially comfortable man in a country like Nigeria, then expect him to be all yours. Worse is when these women don enjoy their youth finish, then expect a man to be faithful to them because of marriage. Furthermore sef, some cultures in Nigeria embrace polygamy and concubines. Na Western Christianity don change everything. The Muslim north and Muslim southwest are very much polygamous. |

Education › Re: Nursing Students Admitted Into Nigerian Universities 2022 by YoshihideSuga: 6:59pm On Mar 28, 2024 |
People are overlooking one aspect: states dominated by Christians are advancing in education over states dominated by Muslims. This tells one thing: Christianity promotes free thinking, pursuit of excellence and pragmatism. Any region whose Muslim population continues to rise is at the risk of falling behind in educational pursuit. You can accuse Christianity or Christians of anything, but one thing is clear; it's the major religion in the world that promotes prosperity, free enterprise, pragmatism, right to choose, right to inquiry, right to criticise, rule of law etc. Non-Christian regions who are prosperous or innovative, such as India, Japan, China and Korea (has the highest percentage of Christians in East Asia) adopted Christian values, especially the Western version. In summary, if you want your region to be prosperous, adopt Christianity or Christian values. If you want to be poor and belligerent, you know what to do. In God We Trust! |

toyosiolamide: If the north were to have been at the top of the list, you would have seen my southern brothers shouting about marginalization. Our hypocrisy is too prevalent in this country and it doesn't exclude any region, tribe, or religion. We need to do better. Before you come for me, I am from the southern part of Nigeria. My point is, the earlier we start seeing things differently and think Nigerian, the better for the country. Have a nice day. Sorry, but the north WILL never top any list or ranking that has to do with western education or civilisation. The north is ingrained in Islamic studies, not western education. Even if the north graces top five or ten, it would be dominated by Northern Christians. Islam is incompatible with western education. |

predictor1: Christian values will always help the Ibos to embrace education seriously. The west is even trying with its horde of Muslims many of who usually do not take education too seriously. This is what many haven't realised. When I saw Akwa Ibom on the list of states who got admitted to study Medicine even before other South West states, I sensed religion is the reason. As the South West gets more islamised, expect educational attainment to plummet. |

BigBashiru: Very well said but one needs to work with a good agent because we don't hv local knowledge of those countries....to know which area is a good area, which area should be avoided in Cape Verde etc Knight Frank, Savills and numerous reputable real estate firms exist. These places are used to international buyers, their governments are keen on attracting foreign investors, they depend on tourism (countries with high dependency on tourism are have okayish public sector efficency) etc. For an Igbo man, better Ghana than Lagos or Cape Verde. After the previous elections, I don't get the do-or-die or I-Must-Invest-in-Lagos-Real-Estate-Industry mentality. Okay to rent, but not okay to invest in. There were posts by other Nairalanders of the bureaucracy involved in getting Lagos state governor's assent for residential properties, especially if one is non-Yoruba. Cape Verde or Mauritius would never! |

adicius: I am no longer interested in investing in property in Nigeria. I am now looking at South Africa 🇿🇦 along with a few other partners. Things seem properly done there. My team and I are touring with similar property buyers from America, mainly African Americans soon. Better prospects in my opinion. This is the thing that befuddles me - well-to-do Nigerians, especially those who aren't Yorubas dying to invest in Lekki or Lagos real estate industry, whereas there are equally other good locations to invest in across the continent and even beyond. Why Lekki-Ajah axis instead of Barbados or Bahamas? Must it be Ikeja when Cape Verde dey? If they don't build in Lekki, but in Accra, would they die? |
