Voodoo Economics. Osun is better than any state in the south east yet a little cut in federal allocation and her people are dying of hunger. Voodoo economics I say again. |
azimibraun:You want artist to do the job of politicians? Where are the retired military men of the middlebelt? Where are they in the affairs that concern their homes? If it was about Niger delta now T.Y Danjuma will been foaming in the mouth. |
jimmy2k:Brother, how will your statement help the situation now? Think deeply and you will understand my point. |
Rip the peaceful people of Plateau. Your enemies are determined to annihilate you. But I have a question for you: why can't you guys protest calling on your politicians with military clout to come to you aid? Where is Gowon, Domkat Bali, Jerry Useni and T.Y Danjuma? Write their names in your placards and call their names as you protest. That is your only option now. You know that Buhari will never come to your rescue. Yar'adua didn't help will buhari their grand patron be any different? We feel your pain but what can we do? RIP brothers. |
Such a barbaric act from an unloving father. Since the man is first time offender he shouldn't be jailed for a long time. I suggest giving him similar treatment by burning him all over his body with hot iron and giving him three weeks jail sentence. Let him recuperate there. Then release him back to his family to continue his duties as a normal father after warning him that the government eyes is on him. Any other such news from him will be treated without leniency. |
yorke1:lol and lol and lol. Chai that song was epic. Can the radio stations in Rivers state play that music over and over again as they discuss this ill-fated consumption of the age old local gin which so far has undergone change due to the avarice of our greedy local brewers. Methanol which can cause blindness and formalin(formalaldehyde)- a laboratory animal preservative chemical used for producing what people ingest straight into their stomachs? This is wicked. Be careful with what you love so much. Therein lies what may likely take your life. RIP to the victims. In your next world keep away from kai-kai aka akpuru-achia, like my grandma of blessed memory would say. |

Babyosisi come and give more flesh to your thread. We're interested to know who our real heroes are and not the thieves and murderers that are brandished as heroes of Nigeria. Prof. Chike Obi check Gani Fawehinmi(San) check Margaret Ekpo check Fela Anikulapo Kuti check |
Is the State of Osun really in the state of emergency? Where is the Osundefender? Where are they when you need them most? What I read here is quite disturbing. Let Imam Aregbesola bring out the world biggest drum so it can be bitten as they call unto the numerous gods in the state for intervention. Lol Don't mind me. Its just a comic relief. Let the those who wish others downfall watch it as life is totally unpredictable. Those you despise today may be your benefactors tomorrow. I heard the State of Osun is at present indebted to Anambra state. How true is that? |
carnegiefan:You're welcome comrade. A lot of exposure helps in the way we go about things. Kanu's words are better used during battle times and not now. No matter how big or strong you are, if you make too much enemies you're bound to fail. See the way the West fidgets when they heard about the reunification of the old eastern region. Even though the North and West still remains bigger they are still rattled. Any sensible man will ask serious questions as to why it is like that. Its simple. Its quite easy to deal with a divided house than a unified one. Its quite easy to insult and fight a man with much enemies than one with much friends. A wise man will ponder on this. |
Whether we like it or not diplomacy has a lot of legs in this race. We are not going to beg neither are we asking for a fight. We want to do what will bring many friends to us and stand face to face with our enemies if they want a fight. The best way to demoralize your enemy is confront him with the truth about his weakness. Has Nigeria been able to protect her people? No. People have been killed in their tens of thousands through ethno-religious riots without even a single person punished for it. The wide deprivation of some segments of the empire etc. And many more that will keep her wicked rulers uncomfortable. This is what will bring peoples attention to us. |
Carnegiefan is very right. While the points held against Nigeria must be said blatantly Kanu should be more careful with other countries whose help will really count in our cause. World politics is interest based and not truth based. Biafra 1.0 didn't stand even with all the truth the world powers knew about her quest. Towing this path will most likely end the same way. A better strategy would be to continue outlining the failures of Nigeria and the consequences it has brought on her people and how Biafra would be different. How organize it will be. What her people stand to gain from her liberty and what other nations will benefit from her existence. For instance if Nelson Mandela had negotiated for SA's freedom based on the independence of the blacks alone I doubt if he would have gotten what he wanted. People want to know what they can get from you. So talking against them blatantly would scare their interest in your interest. I even say that some statements are better put through the passive way and others more actively. That is sure wisdom. May Chukwu Abiama give us the wisdom to go about this so as to achieve success. Isee |
Thanks for the thread but you've barely given any info related to the topic. We are waiting for any additions. |
We are waiting for the onus of this thread. Pls spill the beans I'm already getting bored. |
When you have no compassion for victims of natural disasters you've lost your humanity. This is purely very wicked of the Redcross if this report is confirmed to be true. |
I'm a lover of the ogene music even though I've spent less than six years of my life in the Igboland. That udu is a special instrument that has no equal world over. Bum bum bum---, bu bu bum bum bum bum and the ogene nti-ike introduced ka kan kan kan. Ogene music make me go gaga. Igbo kwenu |
Zoharariel:While you're at that some people are getting set to unleash atomic bomb on you. You better hurry up else you might be caught up in its devastating ripple effect. |
Hmmm. Nice one. African statues dotting different continents is a welcome development. Our stories would begin to become a subject of interest. |
The last soup looks more tantalizing. I think I'll try it out. Nice one from Edo. |
BlackTechnology:I've read it and its a nice responds but I don't get what you consider special or educating here. Care to explain to me? |
secretaryabdul:Re read my comments from start again and know my views about the Hausas. And for your information I spent two decades of my life around the Hausas in the north. My analysis are borne out of concern for humanity and they are fair. |

If you want to understand what is happening with respect to the so called Fulani herdsmen ask yourself what their mission is? Definitely all these bloodshed across states are not just for farmer/herdsman squabbles. There's more to it. For those of you waiting on buhari you simply do not know your bearing. He is their patron and knows the entire game plan. His only option is to aid and at worst protect them. If you think those guys are exactly herdsmen then you don't what is happening in those areas. I've lamented what befalls my Christian brethren in the middle belt for a long time but realized its no good since men like T.Y Danjuma,Yakubu Gowon, David Mark, Prof. Jerry Gana et al are all comfortable with the news. I wish them good luck in their expectations. My concern in Benue is remnant of our people there. I want Aka Ikenga to strategize on how to equip them and arrange other contigency plan on how to protect themselves and get reinforcements. We must be bold in our statements against vampires. |
This is a very good sign that principled men are vital for the restoration of core values and expected responsibilities from men who have lost their minds. Senator Chukwumereije was one strong man I held in high esteem and even in death his words still stand strong. Men like T. A Orji don't worth being seen around the great Senator. I support his family on this. T.A Orji with the Abia stolen wealth should perish with it. If others can shun sycophancy and treat men like the good for nothing governor in a similar manner, this brazen irresponsibility from office holders will cease. Thanks to the Chukwumereije family. |
