Politics › Re: Economic Standing Of The Igbo Populated States by Yujin(m): 10:23am On Dec 08, 2014
Competition is something that has always been among Ndigbo and among the Ndi-Anambra was pronounced especially between Onitsha and others around their vicinity. This competitive spirit gave rise to the republican nature of our people and as at present has made us a successful people despite the odds. Among Anambra people, the Onitsha people see themselves as an aristocratic set which places them above others and they bragged about it. Together with the early education they got, the were highly revered until others(ogidi, abatete, ogbunike, obosi etc) took up the challenge to dispute their much touted special status. Today, educationally and economically these other people have risen such that the onitsha have barely anything with which they can boast. Thus, revealing that their is nothing special about them. Today in Anambra, the people of Nnewi are in the spotlight again with them holding up their heads for independently developing their place to a mega town. They are saying 'take up the challenge if you can'. This is the story in Anambra state.
Anambra against other Ndigbo is much in a similar scenario to what I early wrote. Have you noticed Ndi Anambra don't talk down the Abia guys the way they do other States? It is because of the industry of Abians. For Enugwu state, being a one-city state is more like a let down on the industrial nature of our people. Imo get attacked most times because the claim educational superiority without a corresponding development to show for it. Yet, they look down on Anambrarians and call them less educated. Anambra people believe in tangible achievements- things that reflect in our lives for others to see. It is mere competition .
I concede that some of my brothers rain insults on our people outside Anambra and its is much regretable. I go against them if I witness any of such instances. However, it is pertinent to note that it is a subtle competition that is behind it except for the occasional tongue-lash which I detest. Get angry, take up the challenge and make the entire Igboland an enviable place. Presently, many areas around northern Imo state is structural development like is found in Anambra and I'm proud of it. Enugwu is coming up also with Agbani township and Ebonyi is doing well in Agriculture. Anioma is waxing strong while rivers north?

Politics › Re: Illegal Immigrants Take Over Nigeria by Yujin(m): 8:02am On Dec 08, 2014
Ishilove:
Isn't there a means of identifying Nigerians?
In the south, it is piece of cake but in the north, its a herculean task. As a matter of fact, the hausa/fulanis encourage those illegal immigrants from neighbouring countries because of the increase in population it brings to them. In the north everything is done with the eyes of political advantage. Do you know that there are more than 4million Nigeriens alone in Nigeria? They are called 'buzus' in the north (there is a way some of us use to identify them- it is from the way they speak the Hausa language). This is not including those from mali, senegal, chad, burkina faso, guinea and cameroon. All these people are counted as Hausa/Fulanis during census and elections. They have more right than any christian in the muslim part of the north.
When some of us a pessimistic about this Nigeria, it is not that we are sadists. We are just expressing the obvious as it is glaring that we are not headed for the better unless what is happening up north is addressed.

Let those who celebrate terrorists for political gains stop as it will do them no good in the long run. APC take note.

Politics › Re: Exclusive: Boko Haram Begins Recruitment Of Yoruba Youths by Yujin(m): 5:22am On Nov 18, 2014
This is not suprising at all. I'll make some revelations that will help many people understand a lot about the Yoruba people.
Back in the days in northern Nigeria, I and my colleagues know of some Yoruba muslims(mostly youth) who joined the Hausa/Fulani arsonists to fight Christians during the ethno-religious crises there. One of them was known as Abdulfatai, a bicycle repairer. He was always at the forefront of their offensive- whether out of passion or forcefully positioned, we couldn't tell. But I personally believe he was doing it to impress because he lived amongst them. Off course, he didn't survive to tell his story.
Now, it is common knowledge in the north that the Yorubas don't have a common front when fighting during the many religious riots- some fight on the muslim side others on the christian side. Many of them are as fluidy as water- very willing to change their religion if they are trapped within the region opposite to their faith. However, while the christians do tolerate Yoruba muslims(because we know that they are peace-loving), the Hausa/Fulani muslims don't tolerate even the peaceful Yoruba muslims. These people use fear and intimidation to force Yoruba people into joining them to wage war against Christians and because of the nature of the Yorubas, they readily give in. This is exactly the reason why the Yorubas joined the north during the Biafran war. The late Awolowo maintained neutrality until he was threatened to be ready to forfeit a one-mile corridor from Offa(Kwara state) to Lagos for them to have access to the sea. This was the major reason why the Awolowo led the Yorubas to fight against Biafra. What hurts some of us was that Awolowo and his likes had to find another reason to blame the Igbos for them joining the war. For instance, saying that the Igbos wanted to invade Yorubaland yet the one commanding the Biafran forces was of Yoruba origin who was well known to Awolowo. This is a similar posture OBJ is taking presently.
With the OP's story, I see the same trend of the muslim north trying to draw the west into their fight. They have forged APC- a political weapon which has brought the north and west together and presently boko haram- the militant wing which so far has been a northern thing.
Will the Yorubas make the Hausa/Fulani selfish fight for power their fight again? Only time will tell and this time around, the antagonists have lost a sizable part of their hitherto large army ala the Middle belt.
We are watching.

It is quite unfortunate that this people could go to sleep with their two eyes closed after the massacre melted on the 75 members of our security forces. Even if it's going to take forever to execute, the dooms day would surely still come.
The secret service operatives poses as a fulani nomadis to gain access to this community and afterward unleashed terror on them when they least expected it. Mind you election is around the corner, and this group need to wiped out.
Imagine what this neanderthal wrote-

Don't most of the purported extra-judicial killings happen in the presence of the CJTF? I repeat again- this Nigeria is not worth dying for.

What could be the identity of the suicide bomber?
From the report, it is most likely a student of the school since the news states that the explosion was among the students. Whether he is actively involved(accomplice) or passively involved(ignorantly carried a bag given to him by another person) is what has not been deduced. Whichever the case, this trend should not be allowed as it is capable of discouraging people from going to school which in turn will lead to the closing of schools all around the state.

When we say death to this Nigeria, many do not understand what we mean. Let me asks some questions that will help you understand.
What is/are the exact goal(s)of boko haram?
Do the general muslim north share similar agenda with them? Sharia and Islamization?
Is the thirst for innocent blood under whatsoever guise common in the north?
Does bh have a genuine case when compared to the Niger Delta militants like buhari will have us believe?
Are the incidences surrounding the fulani herdsmen attacking farmers all around the country isolated or well planned with a strong support from their elites?
Are there links between the incendiary statements credited to the northern muslim politicians around the last general election and the present phase of terrorism by boko haram?
Are we still thinking that the majority of bh's terrorist insurgents are foreigners?
The various cases of sabotage in the Nigeria Army has basically which group of people as sabotuers?
As much as Gej may not be the best of materials for the exalted position, who among the present crop of oppositions are trustworthy besides having the capability for the job?
Let great minds ponder on these and provide their answers.
... And I say again- death to this jaundiced Nigeria. Everyone should defend his territory.

It will be difficult to separate detach France from the operations of Bh. From the numerous french hostages and the ransom paid, to stockpiling of nitrate around the sphere of influence of the terrorists, the smell of the french oozes out.
The northern collaborators should not rejoice with what is planned because most of their plans are dependant on how we respond.
Politics › Re: Asa-World Warns Anambra Leaders And Stakeholders by Yujin(m): 6:27am On Nov 08, 2014
Oh! May God bless ASA and may wisdom continue to dine with them. Why will our elites allow their personal squabbles and differences impact inimically to the progress of our great state? When I sit and ponder on the quality of minds that our people have produced, I ask myself how is it that we cannot translate these talents for the collective good of our people? I later discovered that ego has a lot to do with stupidity. They keep on battling one another while our state becomes the laughing stock of others.
I can see the light shining in Anambra and no darkness can prevail against it.

The battalion of soldiers stood down because of the silly cease-fire directive by the Chief of Defence Staff which required soldiers to stand down.
Do you even know what the conditions for cease-fire are? As long as you are not fired at, you mustn't fire back. Why did they flee without being engaged?

GEJ feels more comfortable going to visit the Burkina Faso troops than that of Nigeria because I feel he thinks/knows that the Nigeria troop is compromised and can collaborate with BH to take him out. My thought...
We have said it loud and clear for over two years that the NA cannot protect you because the loyalty of the muslim constituents therein is in doubt. Ask those christians from the middlebelt area what they saw in the hands of the muslim dominated NA during the recurrent bloodletting that encumbered their domains. I saw things personally myself.
When battalions of soldiers withdraw without putting up a fight against a teenage dominated ragtag militias, what does it tell you? However, most of you are quick to call GEJ 'clueless' and blame him for all the woes forgetting that uneasy is the head that wears the crown.
I ask again: what is it that will make a northern christian vote GEJ whereas, a southern Christian gleefully insults GEJ and roots for Buhari? Awareness is the answer. I need a Yoruba presently residing in the north to make his submission on this subject matter.

The negroe race will surely survive the attacks aimed at her total annihilation. As the caucasians and the arabs sustain their latch on the blacks world over, we owe ourselves the duty of helping one another towards getting respect from the other races. One thing I'm sure of is that we shall overcome this wide-scale oppression and de-humanisation but the cost is what I cannot quantify. We already know that the muslim politicians will sacrifice anything to get back to power come that time and their last card is to wage war against other regions should they fail through bh terrorism.
Formally, they were telling you that bh forces are foreigners but now it is beyond doubt that their forces are muslim youth from the north. IBB was begging Nigerians to come help develop Abuja!

The original Abuja Land Owners were the Hausas and they sold and resold, allocated and reallocated, sold and confiscated, they reclaimed sold land under "Abuja Master Plan" mafia or "building on the sewage line" nonsense!

The truth is: ONLY THE IBOS BELIEVED IN ABUJA!!!
Point of Correction: No Hausaman historically own a piece of land in Abuja. The real owners are the Gbagyi people popularly called Gwaris- a name given to them by the Hausas. The name of various settlements within the FCT gives credence to it. Kubwa, Lugbe, Gwagwalada, Nyanya, Pyape, Wuse, Asokoro, Zuba etc are typical Gbagyi words.
