Politics › Re: Muhammadu Buhari, By Femi Aribisala by Yujin(m): 2:00pm On Oct 22, 2014
I may have disagreed with Femi on many occasions but on this one, I totally agree.
How could people be so blind to Buhari's antics? Many just refuse to ask themselves this question: what is Buhari's job since he retired from the military? How does he sustain himself and his family? This issue of him being broke or without a history of stolen wealth only came up when he contested against Gej. There wasn't such stories when he was up against Obj and Yar'adua. He felt because gej said he had no shoes, he also should look for something to tap into the emotions of the populace. I can remember in 2011 when he said he was ejected out of his rented apartment in Abuja because he could no longer pay and now, he can't afford the nomination form so he has to go borrowing. Isn't it this same Buhari who though being a civilian, yet could stubbornly refuse to honour the invitation of Justice Oputa to come and clear his name before all and sundry? If he could not respect the judiciary while he was without federal powers, one can only imagine what this man would do when he becomes the president.
Why are people this blind as to see Buhari for who he really is? An ethnic champion who ragingly visited the Governor of Oyo state threatening war because herdsmen who hitherto were despoiling farmers, were now at the receiving end. A coupist and human right violator and worst of all, an islamist.
Buhari will never rule Nigeria again.
Politics › Re: IMMIGRATION SCAM: (PHOTOS) Join the Online Protest Against Jonathan And Aba Moro by Yujin(m): 6:44pm On Oct 20, 2014
Fact: That sad incident is a dent on GEJ's government and he deserves a big query for that but it isn't enough to ask for his substitution now. Abba Moro should have been sacked given the gravity of the debacle and the applicants refunded duly. But this is Nigeria where nothing is done rightly.
My grouse with APC is that it is acting a script designed by men who see Nigeria as a territory to be conquered. The born to rule monsters see APC as a vehicle for their conquest and would interpret their victory as such.
If under Gej the fulani herdsmen can still go on rampage sacking christian communities all over Nigeria, how would their victims fair under Buhari? If after the numerous threats from the core northern politians one of them still emerges Nigeria's president, what then becomes the fate of any opposition to their actions? It means all the innocent lives wasted during their politics of terrorism will be a waste. The citizens will be in perpetual fear as these men will do and undo without having recourse for our views. The fulanis boast of how their brothers from far away guinea come to Nigeria and murder Nigerians simply because those Nigerians have some problems with fellow indigent Nigerians of fulani extraction. They even go as far as saying that the peace talk between the tribes in Nigeria and the indigent fulanis does not concern the immigrants and so, they are justified to slaughter citizens while other Nigerians watch helplessly. For God sake, the fulani population world over is less than 20 million yet they move into Nigeria anyhow and wreck havoc while Nigerians whine and complain like sissies. Don't you see that it is a conspiracy to keep Nigerians in perpetual fear? How can these people be dictating what is going to happen? Why will a set of people who are not as populous as us, not as educated as us, not as strong as us, not as rich as be us, not as brilliant as us and not as progressive as us be dictating to us? Why?
My insistence for GEJ to continue despite his shortcoming is for those men to eat the humble pie or brave it by coming to the open to declare a war rather than murdering and terrorising people here and there.
The price for quickly condemning GEJ without looking at the circumstances surrounding his tenure will only become glaring when policies are being forced down your throats while you are being killed for protesting. Your lands taken by force and given out as grazing routes for herdsmen from other countries to feed their cattle for free while enriching themselves at your expense.
Why will a christian from Kaduna, Plateau, Taraba, Benue etc vote for Gej while a christian from Rivers, Oyo, Ogun or Lagos vote for Buhari? The reason is that one understands the difference between living and surviving. The difference is that while one is battling to survive the night raids of organized militias called herdsmen, suffering negligence, deprivation and oppression by their state governors, the other is more worried about government inefficiencies and corruption which in some cases are not a direct fault of the president or over a political fallout between politicians of their respective states and the president.
Pls, read and reread and make your conclusion.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Will Go Down The Drain In 2015 If.. – Buhari Reveals!! by Yujin(m): 8:03am On Oct 20, 2014
A direct threat from Buhari again. He just can't manage to hide his desperation.
We have always tried to clear the air to our brothers down south about how the APC presidential aspirant will view his victory if he eventually wins. Buhari will never see your votes as a product of moral conviction. He will see it as a capitulation under his numerous threats. Therefore, he wouldn't listen to any of you. Sheik Gumi clearly said of Buhari that,'if he can't be talked to now that he is without official powers, what becomes of him when he becomes a president?'
Any way, we appreciate him for his frankness and we will respond adequately God being our helper.

Politics › Re: The Brave Igbo Men Who Said NO To Slavery by Yujin(m): 11:35am On Oct 15, 2014
Proudly Igbo and respect to other peaceful ethnic groups within Nigeria. But death to the violent ones. Destruction to those who think they alone are fit to govern others and would go to any length to frustrate another who is not of them during his regime.
God knows that even they will never have peace in their own time. As it was during our ancestors time, so it shall be in my time.
I can recall my secondary school days when after having an encounter with one oppressive teacher, he couldn't handle me and had to report me to the principal. While in the principal's office, a senior staff in the presence of the principal asked me this question:'why are you behaving like this? Is it because you are Igbo? That statement alone changed my orientation as I began to study to know more about who the Igbos are. Mind you, this senior staff is one of my best teachers and I like him so much.
I later had another case with the vice principal who was the most feared of all the staff. By just notifying the students of seeing him by the school gate calms the whole school as students abandon every non-curricula stuff for seriousness. He thought he could bring me under his spell but couldn't after discovering something unique. After every round of cane, I'll look straight into his eyes before departing. I wasn't scared of him. After making a background check on me, he discovered that I was brilliant, an academic power house in my set and having seen my written articles bearing the official stamp of english and literature co-ordinator on the school's notice board on many occasions, he cut me a slack and courted me and thereafter, we became good friends.
The Igbo spirit is a spirit of independence.
Politics › Re: Igbo And Yoruba Collaboration Can Change Nigeria, If They Bury The Hatchet. by Yujin(m): 10:25am On Oct 14, 2014
Nice article I must say except for some fallacies and incoherent presuppositions. I am a strong believe in the Igbo-Yoruba coalition while respecting the rights of the minorities as the only saving grace for Nigeria and I'm to go for it. However, it comes with a lot of risk taking of which the Igbos wouldn't want to be the first to take again for obvious reasons. The Yorubas this time must first stick out their neck for this coalition to take place.
Back to the article. The writer ended up back to the problem he is suggesting that we overcome by saying we must come together to vote for APC whose presidential candidate is from the Hausa-Fulani stock. This shows that he does not understand fully what he is driving at.

Whenever I see the figures of these B.H, I'm like "are these guys a representation of the phrase 'we don't die, we multiply'?
My earnest prayer and request remains an averted circumstance of them being on the loose to go on rampage in the forthcoming elections anywhere and everywhere!
Your comment in the second paragraph is what awaits Nigeria come 2015. To avert it, you need more than prayers.
For your information, bh will linger till the elections where Borno, Yobe and Adamawa would be suspended from participating. Buhari's dogs would be released in the other core northern states to kill the baboons and the fabled baboons would in turn 'hold their ground' because the dogs will also bleed and even take to flight. Like Asari said, bh is a rehearsal of what is to come. Let he that has ears hear what the lovers of peace and equity are saying.
Now the NA who would be clearly overwhelmed by the enormity of dogs and baboons will be stretched and overstressed may capitulate due to internal wranglings. Then, all hell will be let loose.
We do not wish for this considering the impact it will have on West Africa and the black race world over but if one must be a good analyst, one must rise above sentiment and face reality.
Lastly, just to sound it loud and clear: Buhari will never rule Nigeria again.

Let me help in resolving this shekau's identity once and for all.
The shekau by the right in the op's pix has a bigger head and also a bigger frame. He is also heavily bearded which presumably makes him more hairy. This fits the recently downed amir at Konduga.
The one at left has a slim frame and his left eye seems not to focus exactly like the right one. He appears not to be as polished as the others. He is the one who appeared at the last bh video firing an anti-aircraft gun into the sky.

This is just pure evolution hinged on the law of natural selection. It is known as survival of the fittest. Most minority languages will go into extinction as acculturation plus inter-marriages gather momentum. There's little one can do about it- our effort may just delay it but never stop it. Even, traditionally known dialects among larger languages will be swallowed up by relatively larger ones and few new tongues emerge for easier communication among the people.
As economic and political pressures mount on the populace, people tend to discard the mundane for the germane as they struggle for a better life. This progression is the fate of all living things.

Too bad their man, Yakowa died. Now they have to choose between Yero and El-Rufai. Now that is the devil and the deep blue sea. But God will see them through it all.

@op, your exposition is noted. However, have you taken time to ask yourself why the life development index for the middlebelt is better than that of the core north? If you do, you will notice that your brand of Islam won't be innocent. Despite the fact that the core northerners have a headstart of being politically more powerful with the economic benefits it offers, the region still fail to improve. Your religion can never be exonerated and your politicians only see you as pawns that could be easily assembled at anytime for their selfish aims just like you highlighted in your write-up. And to cap it all, your gullibility is purely daft. If one must help you and your family, must it be after you have killed so many innocent people? If you can't confront you politicians by demanding the dividends of governance, why can't you take the risk of travelling out of your monotonous and poverty stricken abode to other areas where you might be lucky to get a better opportunity? If you must express your frustration, why not vent it on your government and their politicians' properties? Why destroying what took another man in a similar position as you his life time to build? Why? The moment you accepted the proposal for being a paid destroyer, you signed your death warrant and as such, you are living on a borrowed time.

Politics › Re: Why We Are Giving More Polling Units To The North- Jega by Yujin(m): 5:58am On Sep 11, 2014
JEGA's explanation is unconvincing. How can he expect us to believe that areas where there are multiple cases of civil unrest with its attendant loss of lives and displacement of people will still have more people to vote? With about ten thousand people killed and tens of thousands relocating from the north down to the south, he still wants us to believe that this day-light robbery is justified. I'm highly ashamed of him as it appears that he is taking us for fools.
Like they did to Festus Odumegwu, so we do 'let him resign'. His action is totally unacceptable. Imagine Imo state the sixth most populous state in southern Nigeria having the least increment in polling units! This reeks of bias.

TheLeader: Before I say anything, I have to state that am a Nigerian(a proud one at that). However, politics is threatening to disintegrate this entity called Nigeria(I hope not), but on a closer look and a realistic point of view, is there a chance that it would be better?

The raison d’etre of any country is for the best of its citizens, and when this is defeated, its no longer worth it. Corruption and the boko-haram menace is tearing the country apart and in the midst of all these exist a protracted battle between the PDP and APC as well as their supporters (educated fellows included).

The big picture is 2015 and who gets into power. PDP sympathizers seems to be contented with GEJ's performance so far and would want to see him remain in power for another four years, while the APC sympathizers can't wait to see him leave, citing corruption, terrorism, insecurity of life and property as well as abject clueless ness on GEJ's part as reasons.

Threats have been received and the phrase "blood will flow" if d other party wins is no longer strange. Let me ask who's blood will flow? Is it not ordinary Nigerians like you and I who cannot afford to fly to Paris or the Bahamas during the elections?

In the nutshell, if Those in support of the PDP are so contented with the happenings now and want to continue are allowed to be on one part, while those on the APC's side who see reasons for a change are allowed to be on another part with everyone having the freedom to choose a side, then dividing and operating as seperate entities, will it be a WIN-WIN situation?

Its time for we young and educated individuals to start asking questions instead of letting the tides push us around.

Now, Bh have more than 50,000 members but fewer than that stay in the camp. If anyone remembers their former modus operandi which is planting of bombs and drive by shootings, one would notice that they seem so emboldened now. I categorically tell you that this change of tactics came into place immediately the Northern elders and politicians voiced out that GEJ has declared war on the north. Before then, those men gave bh partial support but with the near decimation of their boys by Ihejirika's men, they closed ranks and are now giving bh full support. When last did those former crying borno elders complain about the killing of borno civilians like they use to do for bh? Has the killing of innocent indigenes stopped? No!

The most endangered group of human beings are the negroes. They are not safe any where in the world including their own continent. After being wiped out of north africa, sublimed in southern africa, heavily influenced in east africa and economically enslaved in western africa, they have a little opportunity to survive. With diseases ravaging black population and we still expect the solutions to come from other races, it is clear that the black man is seriously endangered. Religiously, islam barely tolerates them. Socially, they are despised world over. Economically, they are blind and therefore are easily short-changed. Politically, they are naive and hence are subject to the dictates of other races.cry
