This report does not add up. There's no how Osun could have been above Anambra even on cumulative basis. Anambra has always been ahead in all the SE states. A visit to Anambra will convince any one who is in doubt. Osun is not known for anything spectacular. Not for agriculture, not for commerce and not for mineral explorations so how comes its occupying the second position? Its simply not adding up. Only the caliber of buildings in Anambra alone will convince any doubting Thomas that the people of this state are not hungry. |
Good one OP. The boko haram debacle is one hell of a quagmire. However, one thing is certain and that is that the disappearance of shekau since the emergence of buhari is a strong indication to the intent of the group. Shekau like we all know berates governments of Nigeria and the west. His absence means buhari will not be insulted. Ever since buhari came up no heavy attack has been recorded against boko haram. Presently we're watching keenly as buhari sets to send some of these terrorists to a less secured prison facility in the east. Whatever happens thereafter he will be blamed. |
NDPVF:May God bless you brother. None of them can be able to answer these questions you asked. This is the sole reason why I hate this Nigeria and I'll do anything to bring her to knees unless it is restructured to enable justice and equality. Anything short of that will make me dedicate my entire life to bring her to her knees. I was born in the north so I know exactly what deprivation our people have been and are still being subjected to. I'll not fold my hands and bequeath an enslaved heritage to my children. I will explore any avenue to achieve our aim. When tens of millions feel cheated in an association its only suicidal not to call them for a dialogue and peaceful resolution. Death to this nigeria. |
pazienza:You got nice points there but the major ones there are points 1,3,4 and 6. The core north is itself not willing to fight a war down to Yorubaland. What they are desperately in need of the access to the ocean. A mile corridor from kwara to Lagos is what they need. Now my main concern here is the core north is the most vulnerable of the three major groups non seems to identify this. Igbos have access to the sea and so the Yorubas but the Hausa/fulanis don't have. This will be their main disadvantage. However the fear that the Yorubaman entertains is his major problem to his emancipation. He doesn't think he can win against them. He rather diverts to the Igboman and demonizes him before other people so that the hatred they mutually have against Ndigbo can unify them and takes away his morbid fear. Ndigbo on the other hand must play their cards well. Our liberation should not be hinged on the assumption we have about others. We must plan in toto. This Nigeria is not a country any sane human being can be proud of. Its either it changes for good or it is dissolved. |
Congrats brother. Stay there and enjoy the fruit of your labour. God willing when we get Biafra then you can return and contribute your quota to its development. Song song o. |
mpowa:Thanks for your input but I wasn't referring to you. I was talking to my brothers. I don't expect you to understand what I'm talking about so I won't bother to respond to the garbage you wrote there. Be of a good heart you may live to see what a wonderful country Biafra would be if this Nigeria is not restructured. |
No Igbo man who has the interest of the Igbo nation at heart will accept what we're getting from this Nigeria. Even if he is a billionaire he can't be satisfied if he looks at our lands and our collective state of affairs. So I say its either Nigeria is restructured or we seek for secession. Now restructuring depends on the willingness of the other people of Nigeria to get while secession doesn't. An intelligent Igbo man should be able to identify which one is easily feasible. Are we as a people oppressed in Nigeria? Are we denied our entitlements? Is what we're getting presently the best we can get in our existence as a people? Will those who formed this skewed political structure be willing to change it for our good? If your answer is 'No', then the need for Biafra cannot be overemphasized. The OP is not an Igbo man hence I'll call him an shameless impostor. He and his ilks swim in the ocean of deceit as they cannot bear to see a prosperous Igboland. It is his type that have frustrated any economic stimulating infrastructures from being built in the old eastern region. They employ all sort of tactics to ensure that unity does not return to our people. I'll not go into the numerous antics they use as I believe many of our people already know that. What many of our people who reason with them fail to understand is that they are only looking out for their own good not yours. With no good infrastructures in our place is it any wonder that our people troop to their place. Its a very simple thing. Who would want to leave a beautiful home in Igboland to go and live in slums if not for the enabling environment the FG sited in their region? With Lagos saturated is it any surprising that our people are now moving in droves to Ogun to develop it because of the proximity? Will our people carry their massive buildings on their heads any day they feel like relocating back home? We need to think. Keeping the status quo is only for their own good. Assuming the oil in our regions dry up tomorrow and there's no more free money to share will these people hesitate to fight you out of their regions? Will they be willing to pay you the worth of your investments there if you want to sell them. We need to think brothers. I have a policy which is I'll never live my life on another man's desires and at his own terms. It must be by mutual agreement. Our main goal as a people now must be to make our region economically viable by ensuring that our ports in the old eastern region functional and thereafter patronize them even if it is comparatively costly. Who says a positive change comes easily? With that we're sure of possessing a strong gateway. I'll come back for more. |
whitecat1:Ok o. |
If it was me I'll hug and take her out for some snack. Then I'll tell her the effect of what she did but still tell her I love her. I'll rock the car like that for some weeks before taking it for repairs. |
lygn19:That will be counterproductive. No one wants any hatred to increase. All we want is a coexistence that will bring forth a massive development and give our children a society they can be proud of. While doing so we will build and defend strongly what God has given us. Do not wish others evil but be ready to payback anyone in his own coin. This is Nigeria where people are illogical. |
His death or survival at this time will be a great sign. Our ears are well open. |
Krankenhaus:You call us lost souls right? Ok. I want to know where you come from. |
kettykin:Then let the Borno scenario be repeated if that is what they want. If we must leave Lagos let it be because of another factor beneficial to us and not because of any threat. Let he who wants to attack us know that there's something to lose also. This is my point. |
juicee1:I don't subscribe to much talk. I've already read in between the lines to know exactly why some of your people are saying Igbos should go back to their land. Why is the call only in Lagos and not any where else? |
juicee1: |
kettykings:Igbos will never leave Lagos as long as Nigeria remains the way it is. You're saying divesting to Abuja today what if another group of people tomorrow wakes up and tell you to leave Abuja then you will divest to Sokoto and then become the laughing stock of the world. Never! Let he that wants to threaten know that he can be harmed too then he will respect you. No any two situations are exactly alike. As long as Nigeria remains the way it is everyone has a stake in Lagos. No one is doing the other a favour. I'll say that if any Igbo man is insulting anybody he should be dealt with as an individual. Trying to rope other Igbos simply because you jealous their achievements has a consequence. Let any covetous persons know it. |
Its is easier for Nigeria to build this than for her to build and maintain a nuclear reactor. It will take Nigeria more than 10years to build this then imagine how long it will take her to build a nuclear reactor. I can bet my life on this. When we cannot maintain ordinary hydro plants for uninterrupted electricity is it a nuclear reactor that we toy with? Its just ridiculous. When ordinary pedestrian bridges collapse with reckless abandon when then can such intricate constructions be done? Unless a foreign owned construction company does it do not even imagine having such in this your Nigeria. This empire is doomed unless it is restructured. I will never deceive myself to expect anything from this Nigeria. I can bet my life on this. Kudos to Japan for converting a challenge to a tourist attraction. |
I support his motion 100%. My only problem is the gauge to be used in determining corruption. I also have another proposal. Let the members of the house of assembly be paid by their respective constituencies. This will ensure that only the individuals passionate about the condition of their people will come out for the position. Any money to that should be discussed during their sittings should be for jobs in the various constituencies. |
Mykel4God:Very simple. Its 87 |
attacker231:Ok o. Do not say you were not told. |
Slynonny:This is grossly irresponsible of you. Desist from such path. |
Asiwaju9ja:I have a couple of questions for you Mr. Asiwaju. Was there massive electoral irregularity in the north during the last election? The peace we enjoy today was occasioned by Gej's concession. If it was Buhari that lost will we be enjoying same today? Did Jonathan make any of such apprehensive statements? What about Buhari? There's a big connection between the ethics of the electoral candidate and his supporters. Even I was ready for a fight if Jonathan had played his card well but had to withdraw because he couldn't hold his forte. That he conceded was a very good thing because generally he wasn't ready for the bigger job. I only pity the Yorubas who have a jaundiced view of the whole thing. The likes of Femi Aribisala have always spoken to his people but they refused to listen. Time will tell as the only saving grace for Nigeria is restructuring or outright division. |
I'm happy more of our people are getting a better understanding of Nigeria now albeit its not too late. This Buhari's victory is seen as a form of conquest already. The west who helped Buhari are just seen as tools unfortunately they themselves will deny and even attack one who tells them this. But like I'll say we are watching. What was planned if Jonathan had won was a brutal attack on any southerner whether Igbo,Yoruba or the minorities in the northern part of Nigeria. The far deep into the north you reside the worst your fate. Those in the middle belt states closer to the south will be much safer. This would have brought us to a point where division would be discussed strongly. The far north when agitated are not scared of division. I can tell you with every degree of certainty. They already have an option which I'll not reveal here. One thing I like about the hausa/fulanis is that they don't mince words esp when it has to do with violence. While Jonathan conceding helped to stop their plans but its just for a short time. It will SURELY come back at another time. Those people don't know what power sharing means. Winner takes all is their position because they feel they've got all it takes to win all the time. Anyone who study this last presidential election will know that JEGA planned Buhari to win even without the Yorubas vote. The formula he used was to the deny Jonathan's stronghold their voting rights while keeping that of Buhari intact. Where the Yorubas skills were needed was in check mating the protest from Jonathan's stronghold through the media. Buhari though disciplined is as vile as he could be. I only pity the Yorubas. I don't mean to insult them but I'm stating this from my analysis. I could be wrong though but my instinct most times is veracious. |
Estimable:Lol Okwu onye ñulu ife. |

trukoments:Yeah it was God that provided the crocodile for the python but he didn't choose flesh as food for ANY animal. That was not the original design of God. 99% of Christians don't know the this. The effect of Adam's sin was general. It upturned the essence of God's creation. Animals were meant to feed on grass and other green vegetation. Humans were to feed on fruits. Adam's sin created enmity between all the creations. Your Bible states it clearly. Gen. 1vs28 downwards. May God give us more revelations and understanding. |
barcanista:I know the nature of the settlements found in that area. Its a dispersed form of settlement with rocky or hilly areas surrounding them. Its very difficult to protect except by a well trained and fortified militia. The terrorists understand this that is why they use the gorilla warfare style of attack, cause havoc and melt away. And you know what, they melt away into the surrounding forests of Kaduna state. Those LGA's share boundary with Kaduna state. I know those areas well. Its just after an area called 'forest' at the plateau/kaduna boundary. Their target is to subdue to Berom people who are the largest group on the plateau. After which they can take over plateau state politically. The same war is waged on the Tivs of Benue. If you think these marauders will stop you're joking. They are well funded by the Fulani political leaders which a strong control of the Nigerian army. We know these so well. At this rate before Buhari finishes his first tenure they would have achieved their aim in Plateau state. Plateau people remember what the late Evangelist Paul Gindiri told you. The time is already upon you. |
