Patrioticman007: What !!!!.
A Nigerian Navy officer, Victor Owonam, allegedly led nine military personnel to the residence of a widow, Mrs. Esther Bassey, and her family in Cross River State, brutalising and dehumanising them.
Nigeria is not the problem but Nigerians, Imagine Victor Owonam an Igbo officer abusing an Igbo family, just because he is Chanced to wear a uniform, come to think Victor bearing Muhammad the CAN a cankerous of Worms would have let hell loose on the media. Let's unite to make Nigeria a better place. Almajiri, how did you know that the animalistic soldier is an Igbo man? Who told you his victims are also Igbo? It's better to shut up than say blatantly what you don't know. |

SilverNorGold: Hmm... People should understand that criminals are now impersonating security personnel... They disguise as military and paramilitary officers to commit heinous crimes. I also heard that some evil #ENDSARS protesters are now dressing like SWAT personnel to intentionally brutalize unsuspecting civilians just to spite the government and the security forces!
This we SHOULD NEVER TOLERATE! The government should swing into action immediately and ensure that those responsible for this evil and wicked act - whether criminals impersonating security personnel or the security personnel themselves - be brought to justice! Enough is enough!
As for you bloody EndSars protesters currently wreaking havoc on innocent civilians just to dubiously implicate the government and our hardworking security personnel, I tell you the truth: YOU WILL MEET YOUR WATERLOO SOONER THAN YOU EXPECT! Unless I am NOT a MAN OF GOD.. But if I BE A MAN OF GOD, you idiots will meet your disastrous ends! And so shall it be! Mark my words!
May God help Nigeria! Lol you... a man of God? Chai... alili egbue m. Is today that the useless Nigerian soldiers have been brutalising civilians? If a call for all those with history of suffering unwarranted brutality from the Nigerian soldiers is made... not even all the security personnel, the world will weep for the people of Nigeria. As usual they will deny this one too. |

All the killings the terrorist fulani militia have wrought on innocent farmers and villagers are unforgivable. They should be made to pay for it and thereafter put in their own country known as Arewa where they can use their 'jangal tax' to develop their country as they want. |

I will NEVER be in support of multiethnic Biafra with any non Igbo speaking group in SS or NC. Ok fair enough. |

Chicagoesontop: Bandits bandits everywhere, who are these bandits and why can't our force men go after them ? They are Fulani foot soldiers plundering the land before they'll be unleashed in full force at the right time. This is why the Fulani controlled army don't go after them. Southern Nigerians are very dumb. They simply can't connect the dots from all the available data collated all these years. The foolish politicians have been so mesmerised with the position of the presidency that are willing to allow the destruction of their homelands for it. Ask them of what use that position will be to them if after getting there and they have no more people to govern. Education is meant to help people make a more informed decision but contrary is the case in Southern Nigeria. Soldiers can move into any community in the south a burn it down without a single elite or politician speaking out but well known terrorists in the core north are romanced publicly. Tufia... |

smithmoi: Yea as usual i see people insulting him, calling him all sorts of names, you may never understand untill it happens to you. Growing up i never knew my parents, grew up with guardians, never knew love, was an extreme introvert, someone managed to see me through uni, all he sent me was pocket money, no friends, nuffin.. Holidays i would still be in the hostel, similar life with when i was in secondary school.. I fell in love in my year two, all i had i shared, since she was all i ever wanted i gave my all, she was all that mattered, infact i worshipped her, i got disvirgined with her as well, it was like charm
Three years later she cheated, i caught her and even begged her, later she tried breaking up with me, boy i drank confor all i thought of then was death, thank God i was helped and regained conciousness. Today im married with two kids.
See, a man who no one, when he is heart broken, first thought is death. We should show love to one another, you have no idea what pain that boy went through. You're right. The fact is that majority of people don't care to know the background story unless they've tasted something similar. You're a strong man since you survived. May God show you more favour. As for the guy, I feel his pain. He probably invested his all on the girl who instead saw his as a maga. If it was ordinary dumping then one won't feel for him. |

efficiencie: What if the crime was committed with your stolen phone before you reported to the police? Direct to kirikiri...you just succeeded in reporting yourself... Don't mind him... He's either one of the gullibles or on the payroll of his taskmasters. Even advanced countries who have such sim registrations don't really rely of it when investigating crime. They use in depth technology to trace and track suspects before using forensic analysis to tie any suspect to a crime before a conviction can be reached. If this synchronisation is done without getting a responsible institution in place, you all can kiss your human right goodbye. People will just disappear without prosecution and no one will comment publicly again. Yet crime will be worst because the real criminals are very creative at beating security measures. |
Politics › Re: 2m Youths ‘jobless’ As Govt Suspends SIM Card Registration by Yujin(m): 11:20am On Dec 30, 2020 |
Claudiusdeux: Actually it is.
1.A lot of Nigerians buy prepaid SIMS...which means , one person can buy up to 100 SIM, register them in his name, and sell them off to people who want to 'avoid stress of registering'. And some of these people are kidnappers...so when the police try to trace them via the SIM...they often times run into dead ends because ....the kidnapper was clever not to use a SIM registerd in his or her name.
2.Also, Nigerians sell their SIMS that they registered in their name. A recent kidnap case in Abuja...police traced the SIM used for ransom to one hawker who on questioning stated that he sold the sim to 'someone'. Police was unable to trace that someone (plus kidnappers took payment in bitcoins...not cash)
3.Linking SIM to NIN will cause invasion of privacy, yes, BUT....it would end the loopholes detailed in one and two. No more people buying preregistered SIM. Just go and register for your SIM yourself. Do you think I don't understand the concept behind sim registration? Listen very well... Irrespective of the measures you put in place track criminals, smart ones still manage to bypass them. What you post up there is the reason you can sell to overwhelmingly naive citizens. There are some who can beyond the façade. The terrorist government is quick to freeze endsars supporters account numbers in less than 2 months whereas they're yet to uncover a single account that belong to the sponsors of boko haram. The can sell this story to the birds. We know their real intentions. |
