when you work to generate that amount, you can demand that amount.
I said again, majority of govt institution are liabilities who depend of govt subsidies to run.

Organization apart from security should be dependent on oil and tax revenue but in Nigeria, the reverse is the case.

We are only good at demanding and very poor at generating.

How many states can pay workers today talk more of pensioners??

Very few.
You can't give what you don't have.
Nigeria is all ready a poor country and my advise to people is to stop depending on govt revenue.
You're correct though. However, the reality is that I see nothing positive in the nearest future in terms of revenue generation on the local level. I blame it on the corrupt leaders who themselves have never been productive all their lives. What does that tell you? Bigger problems are yet to come. The killings today are very small compared to the one to come. Brace up everyone.
Those who believe that they are productive and can do more must plan on breaking away so they move forward. Staying back in Nigeria with the same unproductive set of people leading the front will always end in disaster. The Nigerian society has been corrupted with easy oil money. In the absence of such free flow, it is almost impossible to manage her with less insecurity occasioned by the extreme poverty that will set in. The competition for scarce resources just got started. What will happen in Nigeria will be far more compared to what happens in the jungle. Isn't this very clear to all?

pension scheme in Nigeria should be scrapped.

Nigerian a country with high level of unemployment can't afford to be spending money on retireees.
retirees should be paid in full as gratitude and zero pension.
that way we would have more business men who'll use their gratuity wisely and in turn more employment.

people should know that our revenue ain't growing as much as our inflation.
if ganduge can pay that 18k min wage promptly then I'll say he's trying.

revenue has declined an we all know.

very few profit making govt organization in Nigeria.
from the police, army, civil defense, teachers e.t.c
they are all liabilities to the govt depending largely on govt subsidies.
Lol. Una go patch and patch until una go even start patching human beings. A time will come some will suggest people be killed in huge numbers just so they can have more money to themselves.
Imagine you saying a paltry #18,000 is fine due to the current state of things as though the fault is that of the average person out there struggling to survive. $36 a whole month for a family.... Chai. If Nigeria can be like this, I wonder how hell will be. Even gala hawkers make more than that in a month.

I'm in agreement with the arrest even though no crime was committed. There's no law that criminalizes consensual sex party yet despite how deprave it might be. They should be warned and released because no crime has been committed. Some things shouldn't be made advertised as though they're just common. In as much as sex is a common thing known to all, a sex party is a different ball game. Irrespective of how civilized humans have become, certain things are still done discretely just to help keep the society in the right frame of mind. This is why despite all the freedom a man may possess, he can't be allowed to be roaming the street stark na.ked.

For once, I must admit that President Muhammadu Buhari has failed... President Buhari has failed WOEFULLY to deal ruthlessly with this anarchist parading himself as a Bishop! Too bad and I am highly disappointed in him!..

Instead of you to do justice, you are merely issuing warnings? Really? Is it until these pharisees and sadducees burn down Nigeria before you understand they are criminals and terrorists hiding behind the cloak of religion to unleash mayhem? Please DO SOMETHING URGENTLY! beloved father! Save us! Save Nigeria! Deal ruthlessly with enemies of this great country!

May God grant you the strength and wisdom to flush them out!

God bless all patriotic Nigerians.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
Lol. Chai... What am I reading? Did you say Buhari FAILED because he refused to deal RUTHLESSLY with Bishop Kukah for criticizing his government? My my my...! Has the respectable Bishop killed a single soul? Is he the one behind the kidnappings happening all around Nigeria? Is he the one releasing Boko haram terrorists calling them repentant criminals? Is he the Chairman of the terrorist group called Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore who's members have to take over ancestral lands of other ethnic groups? Where's your brain? How do you even reason? God forbid bad thing! You see evil praise singers for tyrants deserve the same treatment that's meant for the tyrants. Sycophants should be shown no mercy.
I can confidently predict that before runs out, some innocent citizens struggling to survive will be killed in the most violent of manners by people known to the government yet non of those criminals will be arrested or even prosecuted. Yet no security chief will be questioned over his inability to perform. Should we all then keep silent and await who becomes the next victim? Let me hold myself.

I knew immediately after Gana was confirmed dead that the vermis from the sahel will resume the killings. Our ears are down to hear of the arrest and prosecution of the terrorists by the same army that killed Gana.

Only the gullible will think this action is for the security of the masses. Nope, this is strictly to monitor any person challenging the demonic policies and intentions of the government in power and if they succeed, they will never risk the presidential position in the hands of those outside their circles. This is very obvious nah.

Politics › Re: Obasanjo: My 2 Parents Are From Abeokuta, I Bear Owu Tribal Marks by Yujin(m): 10:26am On Dec 29, 2020
The question about OBJs paternity cum origin cannot be more ridiculous than as we have seen of recent. OBJ irrespective of his paternity lived all his life as a Yoruba. There's no single action that shows any connection between him and the Igbo nation. Though this thread was generated from an excerpt in his book, it's doubtful if there's any different response he will give if asked about it again.
My major concern here is to gauge his current level of commitment to this failed Nigeria. While his explanation about being torn between those with whom he fought to keep Nigeria intact and those who would want him to lead a Yoruba seccesion is understandable, I believe that the most certain thing in life is change and such changes are appreciated if it will be for the better of the future generations. A man's past mistake should not hinder him from making an alternate decision if that's the best decision in the present times. This is where Europeans distinguish themselves. They always learn from their mistakes.
This Nigeria is dead and it needs to be butchered so those who are progressive can make do what portion they get instead of keeping the carcass together so everything can decay and go to waste. This is where I hope OBJ can make a better name for himself. Nigeria is a dead horse; no amount of whip can bring her to life again.

It's quite unfortunate yet surprising that there are political leaders and elites in these areas who sit idly and watch as their people are robbed and killed weekly by fulani marauders. I do ask myself if it is a spell that's cast on the so called leaders. Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa should openly form a security to protect Delta State as a matter of urgency. True leaders are best found during desperate times. If he refuses, able bodied youths across the state should hold meetings together across senatorial zones and link up with the ESN for stronger synergy. Edo youths should do likewise too if Obaseki continues to fail them.
It's only a tree that sees and attack coming and yet does nothing to defend itself.
How many are these fulanis sef? A tiny group of people who have excelled in using manipulation to oppress and take over the ancestral lands of others.
We warned for a long time but no one took us seriously. Now our warnings have been confirmed.

Everyone of above listed positions are either occupied by a southerner or a Christian.

And if you talk about insecurity, everyone is in it. 500% more Muslims/Northerners have been killed or displaced, so where is the justification for Nepotism or genocide?
Your stats are so dodgy even the blind can see through it. We are not stupid in case you're thinking we are. The present condition in Nigeria explains the gross failure of the present government and there have been calls from various quarters for his resignation. Security has been worst than ever yet no single official or terrorists are held accountable. In fact terrorists are labelled repentant and released while protesters are killed. Chai... This government will never be forgotten by those with conscience who survive it. Currently, Nigeria is worst than Somalia in the world terrorism index.

Politics › Re: Ijaw Side Of The Biafra-nigeria Conflict-must WATCH!!! by Yujin(m):
Lol. I checked this thread earlier today but felt it was just a banter of some people who wants to while away their time. I guess the OP hasn't learnt anything yet. In a bid to insult Igbos, you ended up giving them credit. The video showed the people asking for forgiveness against their own brothers they killed for working with other Biafran soldiers to evacuate them from the would be front lines. Biafran soldiers tried to save the people by such evacuation. I wonder how you the OP do reason.
As for the other attacks and dick measurement you wish to do with Igbos, I'll advice you back off. There's no comparison whatsoever. I specifically don't like competition within because it tends to make us as a whole unit vulnerable. Igbo's have their strength and weaknesses, so also are the Ijaws. The least time such foolish arguments should be done is now. Nigeria is at war and sensible people know that closing ranks for our own survival is the best. This is why I didn't want to engage in the thread all these time.
Finally, with regards to Biafra, no group will be forced to join. Those who are not interested will be left alone. They in turn shouldn't turn around to seek any portion of Igboland they see around them. It's quite painful that common sense can't prevail among some of us in the old eastern region. I know the pain of the OP but he must learn that the times have changed and he must face the present as it is. That the coastal towns grew in wealth through profits they made from mainly products from the hinterland and that the Europeans later bypassed them to go upstream and trade directly with the original producers shouldn't make your hate those in the hinterland. This I have gathered became the major cause of this bitter acrimony. Those days of being middle men have gone forever. That our fathers allowed some of your people to even occupy those coastal place without bringing war to them should be commended. All in all, let's respect ourselves and think of the future by making proper decisions today. It's not by accident that both Bonny and Opobo became the most important of all the coastal towns of their time. It was because of the synergy of both the Igbos and Ijaws.
Enough said!

Fulanis are playing their games very well. They loot the federal purse and use it to sponsor groups that will speak against anyone who condemns the Fulani evils in Nigeria. They always manage to get some stray goats to use. Blacks don suffer due to internal foolishness.
The so called Tiv group lost their voices when thousands of Tiv people were chased out of their ancestral homes by Fulani militia. Even the late Tor Tiv Alfred Torkula ran away from his ancestral palace. How can one explain this type of behaviour?

What I Saw In Church Today.

As we all know, Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) was declared a terrorist group by the Nigeria government, and recently, the Rivers state government went further to ban all the activities of the said group, Making it illegal for anyone to identify his/herself with IPOB in Rivers state.

While in Church today, I saw a chair donated by IPOB to a church in Rivers state.

I wanted to discuss this with the Priest. Hoping to make him see reasons why this chairs should be removed from the church premises or to wipe off the write up on the chair.

What's your take on this?
The government that you want to obey hook, line and sinker, how committed are they to the people they're meant to protect and provide for? It's clear you don't have responsibilities hence you're trying to make a chair an issue. The same criminals in government who are releasing Boko haram terrorists calling them repentant is the same people you're listening to. It's quite a shame. There are IPOB members all over the world and other countries have no problem with them. They hold their rallies with policemen accompanying them because they're well known to be a peaceful group. Fulani militia aka herdsmen have killed thousands and they are mentioned as the 4th deadliest terrorist organization by a reputable international organization yet the government of Nigeria have not arrested even one of them. Is that a government you want to listen to?
