If I had the means, I would be tapping that industry as well. debeey87: They're possibly going to be processing. It's an untapped market in the Nigeria agricultural value chain. A lot of farmers produce but very little process their produce into a finished product for export. |

From the first day I saw that app, I never trusted it. The moment I saw bamboo I jumped in and asked for my Chaka account to be closed. Those guys ain't ready . Priceless25: @OakPearl.. My trading 212 is up and running now, won't make that expensive mistake again, I've learnt my lesson. I'll say it again to anyone that cares to listen "AVOID CHAKA BY ALL MEANS!" Nigerian fintech will destroy your trading opportunities, learn from my mistake. Imagine after loosing $1k I'll still pay them commission charges, crazy people. |

If you bought since May and held till qualification date.. just arrange police. No time for plenty English. Sh0lar: I started investing in NSE may this year. I invested in few banks including Zenith. Now it is time for interim dividend and the registrar (based on info from my broker) is saying I am not entitle to it. That it is only people that invested before May that are entitled. Abeg make una help me: Zenith said: Proposed dividend =30k Closure date: 17th of Sept 2020 Qualification date: 16th Sept 2020 Payment date: 22nd Sept 2020
Please people, am I not qualified based on info above. Kindly advice how I can also take this up with the registrar. Because this is looking like daylight robbery to me. |

Willie2015: Am not a fan of investing in the brewery sector... In dis challengin period ... While I agree with Guinness is a leader in the spirit segment.... D tremendous upside may actually be a mirage.... Cos of the 14% increase in excise duties to ₦20/l for Spirits .... Another factor is also the dwindlin consumer disposable income.... Plus the current tight credit policy stance... Which will affect sales revenue.... Its a long, tough and rough road ahead for Guinness investor... No doubt it's a long process to recovery. |

babytoun: since the 2008/09 crash i have not gone near stocks .. imagine someone that spent much of his savings on stocks like JAPAUL, Transacorp, Oceanic Bank, Intercontinental Bank, CI leasing (i still remember i bought this one for 17 naira in 2008 the whole estacode wey my office give me for a 3 weeks work outside 9ja) . i remember when someone said IGI was doing private placement and if we bought , we would gain at least 100% when they get listed publicly...... na so i carry money put ...up till today i no know wetin happen to the IGI.....
when snake bite person e go fear even millipede...... however our people say when woman pikin drown for river ...after crying na water she go still use wash her face ...that is why i am trying to give it a try again ...from a better informed position with money i can afford to lose
so now i am learning how to still do well even when the markets are down ...my purchases were purely based on rumours and pressure from stockbrokers..... i plan to take full responsibility this time with some help from pros here Wow... your history says alot.. Those annoying analogue brokers, but thank goodness for tech.. We move.. Good luck!!! |

Mcy56: You ran when you saw some pullbacks and level of inactivity. Do you think it's easy to move such stock? Reason patience is key in this type of stock. The movers don't need me and you when they're ready. No doubt. But not everyone has that kind of weight to sit in a stock I'm that kind who launches an all out attack to raise significant gain. That patience comes with a good steady cash inflow And the way I look at it, it will be more profitable to stick to an oil coy in diaspora than this one in-country. In terms of ROI |
