Nothing in life comes easy, dear Lauryn. What if you were the guy?

I've had quite a few girls have crushes on me --- they're pretty but don't interest me -- and I had to avoid them. Most of the ones I've been interested in for some reason have never been in me. I'd say go out more if you aren't doing so already -- there's plenty of fish out there in the ocean. Who knows you might meet someone who gives your stomahc more G0Flops than this current one.

Disappointments are bound to occur and you don't always get what you want in life, etc etc.

Chevonm, I also understand where you're coming from. What I believe in life is that who you are transcends race or skin color -- these hings are just defined by humans. Some of the most churlish and disgusting people I've met have been black -- some of the very nicest have been too. So do I generalize?

What I do not like about that black guy's response is the way he turned the attack on the entire white civilization and began quoting past history or whatever it is. I do not believe you ought to go down to someone's level to fight with him -- that automatically makes you a loser. If some insecure white girl decides to mouth whatever is on her mind, I believe silence has always been the best answer to a fool.

Face it, the snide remarks and the dirty looks are highly impolite whatever the reason -- even if she looks, dresses or is a prostitute. . .

Just my opinion.

Dear Chevonm, topics like this have been discussed ad nauseum. I'm a very very liberal person and feel who you go out with shouldn't depend on your skin color. What does it matter if the 'black' guys go after 'whites'? It's the guy's problem not yours if he runs after someone simply because she's 'white.'

By the way, I get attracted to all 'races' but am a bit partial towards Asians. Just my two cents.

While I do not wish to sound racist, I must admit that most white people I've come accross do have a peculiar odor. With the exception of my former roommate, I think most others smell different.

This guy was completely nuts about being neat. When you're neater than me -- scrubbing everywhere with bleach everyday, ensuring everything is always in order -- that's something!

It looks good to me, but when you combine AJAX, Asp.NET and a slow server with plenty of requests, I don't think the results will be optimal .

The Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has a blog at http://www.ahmadinejad.ir. What do you think about the site? Methinks there is an excessive use of Ajax althouh the compact layout is neat.

Ensure you have a reference to System.Web at the top of your file ie:

using System.Web;

davidylan, you're looking at it from a very narrow perspective. I've talked to muinat before -- she initiated the conversation -- and we discussed differently from what the guy said. What's wrong with making friends online?

It's the fact that he steered the conversation elsewhere even when she told him she was 14 that is the problem. When I approached you on YIM I didn't ask for your number or even your address. You just told me you were in '##' and I said I was in '$$' and we discussed other things .

I may look like I'm defending her, but the way I see it they both are at fault -- he asking for personal information from someone he doesn't know and she for reacting rudely. Just my opinion.
