I can recommend Zeestone99. He helped source & install my 6.3kw PV System + 3kw Inverter which I use in my house all working fine over one year now.

Zeestone99 is also my sub-contractor of choice who I have used for more than 15 fully off-grid & hybrid solar and inverter projects sized 3kw and above. All our mutual clients report a pleasant service and committment to resolving any issues that may arise.

He is a person of integrity and I have been able to committ multi-million naira projects to his care with minimal supervision for more than two years now without any loss or questions arising - I believe several people on this forum have also used his services and can give an independent review.

My advice is to clearly agree what you want him to do for you including aftersales/warranty expectations and afterwards have a list by sms or whatsapp or email or paper which you can tick off performance against to ensure all you paid for are delivered.

One con I can mention is that if he tells you he would arrive your house at 10a.m, you may not see him till 11a.m subject to traffic and distance issues with the Mainland to Lekki commute

You have pushed more than 40amps into the controller...

You should have connected in series to reduce the current input to the CC...

Please, can I indulge your knowledge about building a good solar power project.

I have read and still learning about SP. I am looking for one in excess of 4KW plus or more (if needed)to run a bungalow or two. Items such as fridge, tv, low energy LED, washing machine(?), microwave (?)

Say I had the opportunity to purchase all I wanted from abroad at a fairly cheap price, would that make a lot of difference versus buying all from Nigeria?
I have possibilities of getting via eBay or Gumtree for example
solar panels
deep cycle batteries (from AGM to lead acid)
Inverter

Would just like to draw on your knowledge on what could be bought to make this set up a very good and worthy setup.

Op, Airtel double detection is the problem but you'll get more satisfaction over that network that spend more money on artists than her workers who can help in improving their network.

Congrats Ade, and happy for you. Please whats the name of your 30ah CC.? I have made up my mind on type of Panel to go for, just still needing advice on type/brand of CC to go for, but I also know that I want a 30ah controller too.

I bought 15k 1000w inverter. It was working well. But when I upgraded to solar panel, it damaged by standing fan.
The fan now makes a humming sound and doesn't blow.
I bought another fan and the same thing happened few minuted ago.

It looks like the electrician in the picture is using his pliers to twist two solar cables together. Correct me If I am wrong . There is nothing else with the solar installation which requires pliers.
I have long frowned on such practice. The correct way to do is use MC4 connectors and couplers with their low price there is really no excuse

For most of us here, lowering electricity cost is just a bonus of going solar. I believe the independence to use or the freedom to use electricity at will (not just rationed by an inefficient provider) is inspiring us.

Congratulations on your harvest, i know on this forum ur feat is just 4-5 days harvest of some. What am congratulating u for is generating ur needs whether it's 4.5kw/day or 21.9kw/day both ways ur covering ur electricity consumption - ur independence, ur freedom from regimented life.

So Oga idsolar, like Barezzi mentioned earlier, buy urself a fine bottle of wine and well sauced chicken suya for celebration at least that would have been the money pocketed by disco.

The bills you get from the DISCOS are not crazy....infact we pay very cheaply for electricity.

As an example....my estimated bill for power in my previous residence was N6400 (One bedroom apt).
A similar apartment in England....the bill with a prepaid meter is N15000 (All values per month).

Guess why English houses have light 24/7.....and why Nigerian houses can't get light.

Money to fix power is not going to drop from heaven....like manna....from our pockets it will come.
