Let's be serious. Labor market no dey laugh any kind degree here too oo.
It's only in naija you will study Yoruba and work In a bank. Protocols must be followed. If he was a citizen, then it could have helped a bit. I can't waste hard earned money on just any course.

Except the guy wants to go back to naija and work for pastor Chris oyakhilome or TB Joshua. no insult cool

USA is not even a religion country. I think he needs a rethink. He could actually do something else as a major then theology as a minor.

Justsaying# if that's his calling, good luck

To put the record straight... he was not banned for that long because he insulted me.

He is a self confessed yahoo boy who steals credit card details from American citizens to shop online and do other businesses.

He was banned then he created another ID (mattkelly) to continue posting, i'm sure he has another ID here but never bothered to check up on that yet.

Lol...It's a normal feeling. Just relax by taking your mind off it and not putting yourself under pressure. I also felt that way days before my interview but then I BELIEVED!

What I did:

I printed out plenty of transcripts (more of approvals than denials). About 50 of it. I then analysed one by one, picked out the FAQs and the major ones, made a draft of possible responces (although my strategy was never to cram) and thereafter contacted a few gurus to help look into the draft via pm and I got beautiful responces from people right here.

All what I stated above requires commitment and perseverance. It wasn't easy but it was worth the while!
Wow, that was an hard job. Printing out people's transcripts and permutations. You get mind, wish you success

So far the discussions here have always been on landing job after studies. What about the students with entrepreneurial mindset? What would be our prospect? Is it advisable to stay there and invest in an enterprise (teaming up) or come back to Nigeria to invest our skills?
Please, I need your contributions.
You actually have to be a PR or citizenship before you think about setting up a business or any entrepreneur because of tax and other issh

This was my story few months back. Family and friends discouraged me hence they refused to sponsor me cuz I'm a woman who should be thinking about marriage and not education. I was determined to sponsor myself come what may with God on my side. I'm getting my i-20 soon from Murray State University and I've stopped discussing this topic with family and friends. I'll surprise them with my visa soon by God's grace.
The earlier you stop telling people about it, the better. It is your personal dream and you alone can make it come through. Remember that no one actually cares about you until you make it. God bless you
Spot on, you are actually right. Although I am more of introvert and only my parents and siblings knew but anytime I tell my friends if they all like to further more, leave Nig and get that good live. they all say no, no and no. I was actually asking them so I can see if everyone think the same way I do.

I jejely started and they never knew until I travelled. You actually don't need anyone to tell you to move on and succeed.

Some people are actually so comfortable to be stagnant especially ladies. Few of my friends are either married or planning to. Some of them thinks marriage is just the top of it

All u ve said is well known nd understood by me the thing wz dt some people jus open dia mouth nd talk without reasoning nd it stinks........ How would it feel after all d yes studying pharmacy someone addresses u as Lazy
If u can live wt dt, I can't
Take a chill ok, you drag the conversation for too long. You are an adult, when something doesn't go down well with you, just keep calm. Read more on the thread , decide if you want to take the test or not. If it actually work for you then come back with your success story. The people that replied you actually care about you, I personally won't reply you. I am an advocate of " Suit yourself"

Some people have actually brag about CC, no test etc but after denial, they came back here again to listen.

Like I will say again , whatever rocks your boat

If u ve Dangote from the north or Ifeanyi Uba from the east as ur direct relative, do u think paying $20k as tuition wld be a problem to him. I brought up ds topic nd I never made mention of cost or asked for scholarships , why are u guys now drinking panadol fr my headache....
That was actually an insult. You don't owe anyone here and we don't either. You can do anything you like.

All posts here are not only for the original poster, some people can actually learn from your case.

Some other people might be reading as a guest nd do not want to write any test.

Any advice you get here is not mandatory for you to follow, you can decide to do your own thing.

Statistics on this thread has it that people who write test actually got funding and visa than people who do not take test. Test makes your credible and ready to the school and the VO

GRE, Sat, ielts and toefl : 90% visa approval

No test : 10% visa approval

Who no like free thing , if dangote or otedola son see scholarship, they will accept it. So regardless of your financial status, we all need freebies.

I have been on this thread for a while and I know how it goes.

Follow your heart and no more insult here. Good luck

Yea. Iike I said, Ave written TSI. Will email UH to know if I could substitute TSI with TOEFl. If they disagree I will just start with a CC.
It's actually cheaper to start with Cc since u are a resident . Take classes at CC for 2 years then transfer to UNi for the remaining 2years

Ok, Thanks. I pray UH will agree to accept it cause they asked for either Tofel or ielts . I wrote it (tsi) 2 months ago.

Wait is TSI only applicable to CC
TSI is for those who do not have up to 12 college credit hrs. Talk to an academic adviser in UH if you have any credit hrs from a college. If you don't, you can not escape TSI

Dear **,

Burlington County College is now Rowan College at Burlington County!

Congratulations on your acceptance to Rowan College at Burlington
County(RCBC)for the Fall, 2015
semester!

Your student account information is as follows:
* Student ID Number: 1**
* WebAdvisor Account and Email login Name: **
* RCBC Student .
I was wondering you are F1 because I actually know we don't get fin aid.

You actually don't need your High school transcript again since you are currently/ previously took class at a college. As long as you have taken more than 12credit, it's ok

If you actually need your High school transcript, it takes time and money. Plus you ain't even In Nigeria
