drdams: Point of correction ; GTBank is equivalent of $100/day for ATM withdrawals and $1000 for POS/Online but please note that cummulative limit accross all channels per month is $1000 meaning if you decide to do $1000 PIS /online first day of the month, you card is technically useless till the next month. thanks for the clarification, you sound like an insider. pls what is the update right now? is gtb meeting small forex demands, given the prevailng forex scarcity? i'm looking for a means to make online payments, although not currently a gtb acct holder. |

Chukzyfcb: with the way most of y'all comments here, I am forced to think that you guys trade stock on a weekly basis. I always used to think that stock investment was something to be done for a long time say at least a year. I am a novice tho and i want to ask. if truly certain people here buy and sell stocks almost on a daily basis, how do you do it without boring your broker ? I believe your broker will be contacted every now and then to buy and sell on your behalf since its an active bizness for you, that must be a very tiring and cumbersome process for newbies to emulate. isn't it? Welcome to the 21st century, brother. Stock investment is still the same, but stock trading is born again. We shoot in the light now. |

angelo82: Raising money for Access is to have a strong financial footing and to expand but not because they lack capital. Also they are not raising capital via equity holdings but through debt instrument. If they're raising money for strong footing and expansion, they're needing money. But your last point is well noted, which means their oustanding shares will not balloon out of control. |

The usual 25kobo But I thought Access had capital raising plan pending - Nigerian banks are in perpetual capital raising, occasioning equity dilution - why then is it paying interim dividend ? How can they be needing money and dishing out money at the same time? Is the logic wrong to conclude that banks keep raising money to pay dividends, which means they're not really making money. |

OBAGADAFFI: Thanks
Wow Access got better EPS than Zenith?
It shows Access is seriously undervalued.
I have a feeling that GTB is overpriced All this your cheering of Access, nobody can tell me you're not comfortably smiling in the bus. (to avoid calling it by that other name, the mh name, you understand ). Which is not disagreeing that Access, like many others, is seriously undervalued. But regarding all the bolded, there is another extra thing called prestige. Prestige, or whatever other name you want to call it, makes some stocks sell at premium to their valuations, and to their peers. |

If you still have any liver to jijo, then turn your radar on oando and seplat as crude oil lingers in the bullish trend. But be well advised, mr brent is extremely fickle. Just one cough, grunt or even frown from the Saudi Energy Minister, and everything comes tumbling again like a house of cards. |

cadno: Pls what value is this increase to stock prices...oando ? ..pls clarify 1 Oando, seplat, yes. Higher prices will help oando pay up its debts sooner, won't it? 2 The destinies of many banks have become linked with the fortunes of oil companies by reason of huge loans going bad. So each time oil rises, hope rises with it that the loans could be redeemed, making investors less nervous about entering the banks. 3 Ngeria, for now, is rich or poor according to the circumstances of mr brent, unfortunately. $50.82 at the end of this post ! |
