My experience with a car seller......

A friend requested my help in getting a good golf3 for marketing of his goods. I talked to my mechanic about it and he took me to a guy.

At the guy's shop I saw 2....... Then we agreed on price.......... I asked for the papers, he gave me photocopies....... I insisted on having the original he said after payment...

I was like.... arhh! ....I checked the name on the papers it was a Yoruba name and the seller is an Igbo man.

I asked for the owner's contact.... He said he's the owner... I asked for his name... He said I'm asking too many questions, if I want buy I should buy and if I don't want to buy I should leave his car for another person who has money......
Knowing fully well I'm pricing a wrong market.... I asked him... Will you follow me to Iyaganku Police station for police report on the car before payment...... The guy suddenly became angry and ready to assault me.

It was not funny that day.... I just left his shop in confusion and amazement.

Please, ask questions before buying any car at all.

I wanted to do an online transaction with an online fashion brand abroad. Of course, I always make sure I check the exchange rate before I place an order, to know how much I would be spending in naira.

As usual, after calculating the exchange rate, what I wanted to get was on the high side. I just became humble and cancelled the transaction.

I started thinking if the disparity between dollar and naira is so insane, what will be the exchange rate of the naira to the currencies of other African countries. I picked 25 random African countries and compared their currencies with the naira.

Before I started my findings, I felt only a few African countries could have stronger currencies than the naira but boy I was shocked and ashamed with what I came up with.
