Lets face it, if crapno 15 premier comes with sony imx686 64mp lens, this Tecno Phantom 10 frogsheep should come with a newer and better technology.

It will, the same way devs for the sake of Redmi note 8 pro ported a gcam for mtk, they will also make for redmi 9.
This is what I was told not by xiaomi or any of xiaomi's representative, but by a dev who also worked on gcam porting for the redmi note 8 pro.

I wouldn't ask anyone to trust miui either.
I have two xiaomi devices.
Both are on miui... I avoid using certain stock apps from miui like browser and mi remote app.
I don't experience any bug, probably because I am not into rom porting like you. I have been told "your xiaomi device is smoother when you are on a different skin."
