Remember, we had the same issue with the Chelsea game, where the referee allowed unfair physical defending against Aguero. Aguero lost hi Temper in that game.

Whether Messi, Ronaldo, Robben, Hazard or Aguero, if the Referee does not protect the attacker, they will not perform.

Unfortunately, there was not enough room to create chances for Iheanacho.

I think City can not wait for the summer to change the defence line. Either we bring back the young guys from loan or buy some quality.

The defence was totally off pace. Made Ranieri's strategy work like magic.

Iheanacho won a clear penal with insane Super speed. How people here will try to make it look like it was a poor outing by Iheanacho baffles me.

Did anyone notice the flaws in the 3-4-3 system in the game yesterday?
At a point in the second half Chelsea could not hold the ball and string passes (could it be the absence of matic?) cus aside the pass fabregas gave to Costa, it think he had a average game (match rusty?).
Chelsea's wing back where cut high up the pitch several times anytime man city hit on a fast break (Moses run like Jackie them need to increase that guy pay).
I think pep lost the game , the occasion got to him and he lost it. You are winning 1 nil against an inform Chelsea and u are still pressing with ur defense playing a high line ? u going to get punished. Check out Chelsea's first goal (Costa is a Badt Guy).
Gundogan should have been out since yesterday (I no notice am for second half) bring Kelechi in about 65 min Kelvin should have come to the midfield.

All the players you mentioned were already established, well decorated international stars before ever meeting Guardiola.
Eto= already an African and La liga legend before ever meeting Guardiola.
Messi = best young player in the world by a distance and top 3-5 best player in the world before Guardiola took over. If anything, Frank Rijkaard will be credited for bringing Messi to limelight.
Muller = already a top top player for club and country before he met Guardiola. He broke all sorts of record for Germany in SA 2010 and a champions league winner before Guardiola. He infact he regressed abit under Guardiola.
David Villa = Already attained a legendary status with Valencia and Spanish national team before he ever met Guardiola. Captianed Valencia atleast 2 seasons before joining Barca.
Thierry Henry = ( you can fill in the gaps yourself)

If based on his growth, I believe he will gain more working with the likes of Barcelona. But, he will not get the playing time people crave. That is the point.

This is not luck. This is foresight. City U19 plays the U23 League. The City heads feel the boys will gain playing against Older players.

The truth is, you will value your 16 years brother going to Korea and his team losing 8-0 than to play academy football within that time frame.
