omenka:But this is what he said in 2023- “https://www.nairaland.com/7431968/2023-open-restructuring-state-police#118369324”. Now very clear that Kwaks is very unstable and lacks capacity to rule Nigeria. He cannot appreciate that Nigeria cannot be effectively policed by a Unitary police force. He just blew 2031! |
dre11:That is long in coming. I was waiting. One way to deal with corruption in Nigeria especially in the power sector is to have the private sector get more involved in the power business. It takes a businessman with clout and with the fighting spirit Dangote has to get in there and get the job done. Our experience with NITEL and the telecoms industry speaks volume about what to expect going forward. The typical investor whether Foreign Direct or not, strictly goes by what International Rating Agencies say about our economic environment. They follow the macro indices. Dangote goes beyond and notwithstanding that. |
givedemwotowoto:Unfortunate lobbyist. Is Donald Trump voting in the Nigerian Presidential Elections? How influential is he in the North of Nigeria where the bulk of the votes are certain to come from? |
fergie001:I thought so.Bala Bauchi!🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
fergie001:See frustrated Bala Bauchi further scheming himself out of position for the Presidency after the turn of the South-West is done in 2031. Bala Bauchi is so thoroughly worsted politically that he has become a faded and desperate politician. |
osuofia2:Especially because the spoken English of the current Dean of the Faculty is said to bleed when he speaks in the English Language. Most unfortunate!!! He cannot effectively and efficiently articulate the position of the Faculty on issues and that is certain to affect its fortunes in every way! |
He enjoys the goodness of God. |
FSBoperator:Yet he presently seeks to contest public office. Civil Society Organisations should be busy shouting "thief" on his head in several Nigerian languages he and his family will so ashamed that he will become repentant and return his loot . |
PresidentAtiku:I know for a fact that in the reason season last year power was not this improved. Not in the last ten years at my location in Nigeria. It is your choice to decide who has your vote during the next Presidential Election but you cannot deny my reality. |
A former Honourable Attorney-General of The Federation and Minister for Justice, Mr. Malami attempted to steal from Nigeria by deceiving President Buhari to approve at least $200 million dollars to be paid on the Mambilla Power project. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/business-news/910616-mambilla-how-malami-attempted-to-deceive-buhari-struck-corrupt-deals-with-adesanya-icc-tribunal.html Civil Society Organisations who fight to ensure good governance should push this sort of news until it gets to the consciousness of all Nigerians including the neighbours of Malami and his village and village family relatives. It should be translated into all languages in Nigeria and regularly broadcast. The same should be done to folks convicted of corruption in Nigeria. The advantage to Nigeria is that it is a big step in keeping such thieves away from getting elected to office to steal more! The electorate will then know them for the criminals such politicians are and the shame will keep them away from running our affairs. |
onatisi:Well, the only way to prove your assertion that "most Yorubas still support Tinubu is misleading. In reality, less than 40% want him to win." is the result of the forthcoming Presidential Polls. While Yorubas, who feel as you allege, about Tinubu are entitled to their opinion, it is clear to the typical Yoruba person that Tinubu has, so far, done well both as a Yoruba person elected to serve as Nigerian President and as Nigerian elected to serve all Nigerians. The concrete roads he is constructing all over Nigeria especially the ones in Yorubaland and the macro and soon to be seen micro economic growth of the Nigerian economy as well as the great and undeniable improvement in electricity supply show that Tinubu is doing well as President and deserves to be so elected again for a second term. For fairly obvious reasons, it benefits the Yoruba if Tinubu is reelected and it does not benefit the Yoruba if he loses the election. Going by the recent electoral verdicts of the INEC in the Presidential elections a Tinubu loss is an Atiku win. Peter Obi is a third-position contestant while Seyi Makinde is not even on the cards AT ALL to win the Presidential elections. The likely effect of a Seyi Makinde contesting the Presidential elections is to reduce the votes of Tinubu and that benefits Atiku. Who loses in the long run if Atiku wins is Seyi Makinde himself, Tinubu, The Yoruba in that order! It is particularly worse for Seyi Makinde as he becomes ruined politically for life especially with the Yoruba his political base. He has a second address in the U.S. though but his father's house and compound in Ibadan cannot have a second address. If he thinks politically at all he should remember Samuel Ladapo Akintola, Omoboriowo, Akinjide, Akinloye, Kola Balogun et al who are classic examples of Yoruba politicians whose political decisions and affiliations stood opposed to the larger Yoruba interests and political affiliations. They all died lonely, forlorn and remain remembered particularly for betraying the larger Yoruba interests. |
onatisi:While I totally agree that Seyi Makinde has done extremely well as Governor, his decision to contest the Presidency against Tinubu another South-Westerner who is also doing well, has pitched him against the typical South-Westerner who wants Tinubu back in office. The reason I say is because his candidacy has the potential to reduce the votes of Tinubu and rob him of an outright victory in Oyo State. If that happens Seyi Makinde’s political will never recover as it will do irreparable damage to his political base which is the South-West. Having said that I still have this hunch that at the last minute Seyi Makinde will step down for Tinubu. Sounds weird but you never know with politicians! |
Owaincouncil:I used to think that way. However, since Tegbe came into office as Power Ministry the peculiar mess that Adelabu performed in his time was cleared away and we now have fairly stable electricity. Look around you when it gets dark. |
onatisi:Seyi Makinde’s decision to contest the Presidency was fatal to his political future. He should have focused on becoming a Senator instead. Anyway, he has a second address in the U.S.A. where he keeps his family together and safely too! |
[quote author=Iamdbull post=140706210]In a video circulating made by APM Presidential candidate Seyi Makinde. He stated in the video that Tinubu made it clear to everyone that “if he fails to fix electricity he should not be voted in for second term “ Here’s the video below shared on X by Newsspend is now more reliable. You have become a laughing stock Seyi Makinde. |
This confused soul. Should be yoked to Kemi Olunloyo. |
SeeWahala:You pretend not to understand what Soludo is saying. In politics worldwide you look out for what best serves your interest. |
Atiku is a thief and a shameless one at that! https://www.thecable.ng/revealed-sunrise-promoter-transferred-500000-to-atikus-wife-during-mambilla-negotiations-in-2003/ Atiku the thief asked that proof be provided that he is corrupt. Here is proof! He is now saying it is political witch-hunt when the arbitration proceedings had nothing to do with politics!!! Atiku the thief is so shameless, wicked and lacks conscience. He should go into hiding!!!! Okonkwo his spokesperson should resign or partake of God’s judgement coming on Atiku the thief and ALL Politicians stealing Nigerian money no matter the political parties they belong to. Our fervent prayer is that God will continue to expose and punish all the thieves who are stealing Nigeria’s money and making the people to suffer. It is very painful that the Mambila Dam project has been on now for over 50 Years!!l |
Charmingrascal:Abubakar Atiku is a thief. A very wicked thief! The International Court of Justice decision should be translated into several Nigerian languages and published so we can keep Atiku the thief away from the public purse! |
lapintoz:Abubakar Atiku who, the International Court of Justice has said corruptly received $500,000.00 out of the Mambila Dam presently wants to be Nigerian President. Journalists should spread this all over Nigeria in the languages the people understand to know that he is a thief who stole from the national Treasury and is responsible for the misery of the people! |
Pakute:Abubakar Atiku is a corrupt politician and fits the description that Obasanjo has made of his character in his book. |
Kaa4:They should all be punished no matter which party they belong to. EFCC cannot claim not to know about the malfeasance out in the open. Abubakar Atiku who could not deny the matter claims it is political witch-hunt! He thinks all Nigerians are stupid? His rump is out in the open!!! |
Ofunaofu:You were the dull mentality spotter here. You are the one who is smart and thinks someone else is dull. Someday you will learn to spot thinking that way. You will not hear from me on this matter again even if you do a thousand responses. |
favor914:Peter Obi is so desperate for the Presidency he will eat bread laced with peanut butter mixed with poo! At the rate he is going his next meeting appointment might just be with the devil. |
Ofunaofu:A closed mind cannot fathom how a metaphor could be deployed in response to a post that itself is metaphorical in composition. |
Kalashnikov49:Ha! Kilode!! Why are you so bitter against Charley? |
Kobopro3:It'll get better in the United Kingdom generally speaking when the Scots, Welsh and Irish go solo. London will properly come into its own as the financial capital of Europe and I dare say, the World! |
Ofunaofu:Folks reading us here know who the dull fellow is as between you and I. My point is made though!! A political party fielding a contestant in the Nigerian Presidential elections in January 2028 which is just four months away and insisting it is making progress while still so thinly spread across the country is indeed a locomotive train on imaginary rail tracks!!! Post 2027elections will conclusively show that it arrived nowhere!!!! |
Now Revealed - Evidence of Corruption by Abubakar Atiku who seeks to be President of Nigeria and has challenged people to provide evidence that he is corrupt. https://www.thecable.ng/revealed-sunrise-promoter-transferred-500000-to-atikus-wife-during-mambilla-negotiations-in-2003/#google_vignette Report of several corruption cases about Atiku https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/911791-special-report-inside-five-international-corruption-cases-involving-atiku-ex-wife.html |
Ofunaofu:Classic case of delusion is the sight of a locomotive train making smooth and fast progress and reaching a destination without rail tracks in sight! Delusion indeed is a fatal condition! |
Validated:Just remember to bookmark this page and return to comment on the aftermath of the 2027 presidential elections. A journey roughly halfway through Nigeria last night showed electricity supply was available EVERYWHERE along the road! Tinubu is now good to return! |
zoghys:I guess the fellow is entitled to see harshly considering that he and his leader are, by choice, the unhappy people in Nigeria today. |
