LadyExcellency: Politicians are not Igbo Elders. Stop deceiving yourselves.
Secondly what will the military even do in Aba without incurring the wrath of the masses? Go and write it somewhere Nigeria military cannot fight Aba. It's the shortest cut to civil war.
And you wish for civil war again!🧐🧐🧐. Please! Biko nu nu! 🙏
igwebuike01: If you become fierce, ESN will become fiercer. Nobody dey beg your papa. No be today ESN and Nigerian army start the clash. Both sides will count scores at the end. Gone are the days you had a field day killing anyhow. Do your reprisal and ESN will pay you back too and the cycle continues
Not quite so! If the NA bares its fangs for half a day on the entire SE not to talk of Aba alone the cry of genocide will hit the roof! Please see things differently! Drums of war don’t work for mankind! Think, Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu was quick to think and act the same way you do now but ended up fleeing when defeat flying on the wings of his folly was headed his way! No single member of his family suffered from the discomfort of the civil war till date!! Please embrace peace and seek peaceful ways to self determination!
You and your ilk obviously learnt nothing worthwhile from the Nigerian Civil War. Violence will only breed violence. The right to self-determination is best pursued peacefully and with wisdom.
Zetty177x: My point is if you depose the rightful owners of a throne, what's the point? When we know they are the real lineages and heirs? I'm talking of the mention of the Oba being dethroned before by the British
There will always be a black leg or two in the royal family willing to lend their feet as foot soldiers to run EDSG Agenda in the matter. An Igbinedion can suddenly emerge as a Bini King courtesy EDSG! Play easy with Government!
Zetty177x: Granted. But Sanusi is back... isn't he?
Sure. As recent as yesterday he said he has had enough of controversies. One would expect him at his second coming to steer clear of controversies and desist from fishing in troubled waters.
Procashtips: The British were colonizers. They only did via war.
So why compare both?
Coercive instruments usually used by governments www were put to use by the British. The Nigerian Government can also use its coercive powers to ensure the deposition of any Royal who sees himself above the law and becomes a Law unto himself.
Except it was made pursuant to an order of the court presiding over the matter this would appear to be unprofessional communication coming from BTC Solicitors and contemptuous of the court ex facie curiae.
thymetraveler: Omoh yesterday I prepared a delicious egusi soup, garnished with chicken breast, pomo, goat meat, titus fish, dry fish and okporoko (stock fish)--in addition to other essential ingredients like spicy (knorr and star), pumpkin leaf, etc etc.
Had a go at it yesterday evening and it was really good Then I warmed it like around 11:00pm.
This morning, I warmed it like around 8:00 am; I would have frozen it in my freezer but I was expecting a fellow friend who'd told me he would be coming around so I didn't see the need for freezing it yet.
Now, this evening, I just remembered it when it was already 9:50pm--that's the thing sometimes with remote work; one could get engrossed in it sometimes especially if it's my kind that has to do with coding/programming and code analysis. I just totally forgot
By the time I got to the soup, I saw it was almost starting to "foam", and I quickly put it on fire. After warming, it doesn't have the fresh taste it had anymore. Tastes a LITTLE bit sour and lacking flavour
Has anyone experienced this? What did you do to the soup (or what can be done)? Food experts.
Mods...
Egusi soup no get shame! I had that experience back in time.
What a visit! How the maid, looks at you on your arrival having previously heard the housemaster complain to others in the house how unwelcome you are in the house!
Khrownfit: This is the worst minister of power I have ever witnessed in the history of Nigeria, I have never seen our power sector so useless as this
The man is, simply put, depressing! He is best suited for a teaching position at the CIBN!! Thanks to God he never made it to Governor, Oyo State. May he never make it there!! Makinde has been marvellous!!!
Ceiling fan go dey blow and heat go still dey do you.
Few weeks ago I was at the court, the judge told the lawyers to remove their robe and wigs because of the heat. She came with her portable rechargeable fan.
Nigerian Judges have my sympathy the most! The Lawyer puts up with poor infrastructure and heat in the courtroom only for the period he must conduct his case and leaves. The Judge typically does a 9am-2pm so he can pick up 500k at the month end. Not all looks bleak for the Judge though: he is driven around town in a brand new SUV worth tens of millions and picks up other perks in the course of his career.
Laggafin: All we need is a Leader in the mold of Stalin and Kim Jon un to Wipe off Corrupt elements and within a day this electric power mystery in Nigeria will be solved
Perhaps we should put you on a plane bound for NK. Better still make your present existence travel back in time to Stalin Era! Sweat go cover you from head to toe!
Bluntemperor: Truthful Statement! Now that Prof Nnaji have found permanent solution to Aba Light-On,by By- Passing the Fraudulent National Grid,we de watch, who go de damage the Gas- Pipeline or blow it up? Those govt appointees, are part of the Corruption,as they are not ready and willing to step on shoes of the wicked once in Power Sector, because Corruption is thriving in these Govt Institutions like Gemco and DISCOS! Nigerians are tired of talking, without action! It is the Action of Prof.Nnaji that brought Lights to Aba and its environment! •Lagos State Govt too, can breakaway from National-Grid,like ABA,if they are willing to--for Different DAMS can be Constructed- in Epe, Ikorodu and Badagry- as Cheapest for all you have is Sea and Ocean Waters surrounding to roll the Dam-Wheel and give us Permanent Lights! •This is what the Chinese are using in China to generate about 135,000 Megawatts Light to their Communities! •Very soon,ABA will be celebrating years of permanent Lights, like the Ghanians,in their Country! •What are the State Governments doing with all the Homongous NBILLIONS,if not NTrillions in their States? For me, I just read the most informative and balanced comment on this thread!
NairaOcean: A video has gone viral showing a Nigerian man shocked as he watched a Rolls-Royce car being refueled from a simple keg on the roadside. The luxurious car, known for being very expensive, was parked by the side of a busy street while the driver poured fuel from what looked like a regular container.
Shared widely on social media, it surprised many Nigerians. In the video, the man recording couldn't believe his eyes as he saw the driver carefully pouring fuel from the keg into the fancy Rolls-Royce.
Motor Car Dealers do that regularly with the items they have for sale especially when they are taking it to an intending buyer. To a car Dealer a car in a dealership is no more than an item for sale!
Way to go!👏🏿👏🏿. "Homophobic law" is an intellectually dishonest description of the Law criminalising sodomy, homosexualism and lesbianism. The law does not dislike homosexuals and lesbians but criminalises their lifestyle. Society does not dislike armed robbers but criminalises their conduct.
