Besides, if he passed his promotion exams which he failed twice while he was good enough at making babies he would have made it to Brig-Gen and earned a better pay. By the British or American and other Western army positions if you fail those examinations twice you cannot be promoted a Colonel. In a well considered and salutary decision, The Army Council while General Danjuma was chief of army staff and Yaradua was chief of staff supreme headquarters recommended Sanni Abacha and Ibrahim Babangida be retired because they failed the exams twice. Olusegun Obasanjo who was the head of state pleaded they retain them. Hence the liking IBB has till today for Obasanjo. Hence the hatred both men, IBB and Abacha displayed on General Sheu Musa Yaradua. Both IBB and Abacha were never appointed as governors because they were deemed not qualified. Ma'aaji was another Fake Gen. Sanni Abacha in the waiting. Imagine how better for Nigeria it would have been if merit was upheld and Sanni Abacha and Ibrahim Babangida had been retired back then for failing military promotional exams twice! We would have been spared the evil the two men inflicted on Nigeria! I hope we will learn our lessons.

Colonel Mohammed Ma’aji, accused of being involved in an alleged plot to overthrow President Bola Tinubu’s administration, has said his actions were driven by patriotism and concern over what he described as Nigeria’s worsening condition rather than personal ambition.

Ma’aji said economic hardship, poor governance and declining welfare among Nigerians and military personnel shaped his concerns about the country’s direction, he said according to Premium Times on Monday.

“What has happened has a very long history, and it is driven by patriotism and I love the job and country.

“As we are all sitting down here, we have our biases and our thoughts and concerns on what was going on in our country from a state of gradual decline up to now, and we are almost at the point of collapse,” he said.


The colonel said his own struggles to provide for his five children on his salary further heightened his concerns about the economic situation.

He explained, “Every time I look at how I’m struggling to raise 5 children with my meager salary, I get worried.

“I attended Army Day Secondary School, but today, how many of us afford to take our children to these schools, and for one reason or the other, which is connected to the bad governance.”

Ma’aji also raised concerns about the welfare of soldiers, particularly personnel wounded during military operations.

He alleged that some injured soldiers receiving treatment at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna were not getting adequate care.

According to him, the conditions facing military personnel reinforced his belief that urgent measures were needed to change the country’s trajectory.

“The summary of all this is that this action was driven by the desire to have a prosperous nation and country that we all can be proud of. It got to a point that I was worried that if nothing is done, we may not have a country to call our own in the near future,” he said.

Ma’aji said the alleged plan involved mobilising officers who shared his concerns but maintained that the group had not reached the stage of executing any operation before his arrest.

“Nigeria was turning into a banana republic right before our eyes. We know that during the era of the military regime, the country was functioning better. I believe that, as it is now, we are on a dangerous trajectory.

“The plan was to get enough officers of like minds who could participate. We were still at the stage of mobilising to get more officers involved.


“This team has not been fully formed because there were supposed to be other meetings. There was no D-Day. We were waiting for the availability of resources and more officers and soldiers,” he added.

The officer also claimed that he personally financed much of the alleged plan, while Timipre Silva contributed about N400 million.

He denied foreign involvement and said no date had been fixed for the proposed operation.

Ma’aji further denied contacting some senior military officers, but said widespread dissatisfaction within the military, coupled with his unsuccessful promotion attempts, contributed to the revival of the alleged movement.

He called for the establishment of a formal channel through which military officers could raise concerns with the Chief of Army Staff, Waidi Shaibu, without fear of victimisation.

Among his recommendations were improved remuneration and welfare packages for soldiers, better pension benefits, greater access to education and stronger measures against corruption within the country and the armed forces.

Ma’aji also criticised the removal of fuel subsidy, arguing that the policy should have been phased out gradually.

Following his arrest, the colonel appealed to the authorities for leniency, saying his experience had caused him to reconsider his approach.

He stated, “From the time I have been arrested till now, If I were to be released and these issues in the country persist, I will consider a different approach.

“We are pleading for leniency and pardon as first offenders. The system should take a deep breath and pardon us. They should give us a chance to mend our ways. We have no other country than Nigeria and no other job.

“This incident has really opened our eyes and has changed our mindset forever. It was not intended to destabilize the country at all.

“Everything we planned was born out of patriotism, love of country, and the desire to have a prosperous Nigeria that we all can be proud of.”

The alleged coup plot, which was uncovered in late September 2025, led to the cancellation of the October 1 Independence Day parade and changes in the military hierarchy, including the removal of Christopher Musa as Chief of Army Staff at the time

Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has taken a swipe at former Anambra State Governor and National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, saying the Southeast cannot produce Nigeria’s president by relying solely on votes from the region.

Umahi spoke in Abuja on Monday when he received members of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) on a courtesy visit who conferred on him Patron of the Association.

The Minister, while discussing the need for political integration and national cooperation, appeared to dismiss arguments centred on regional sentiments, stressing that the Southeast must work with other parts of the country to achieve its political aspirations.

“The vote of Southeast will not make our brother president. We need to work with other zones,” Umahi said.

He also criticised what he described as sentimental politics, urging Nigerians, particularly people from the Southeast, to focus on issues rather than emotions.

“Our people should not be sentimental,” the Minister said, adding that he believed the current administration had demonstrated an intention to integrate the Southeast into the national development agenda.

Umahi said the region had benefited from major infrastructure projects under President Bola Tinubu and attributed some of the projects secured in the Southeast to the President's commitment to addressing perceived imbalances.

“I have to be very honest with you. If I'm not a Minister from Southeast, we won't be able to get the projects we have gotten,” he said.

According to him, President Tinubu had demonstrated a willingness to “right the wrongs of the Southeast” through infrastructure development.

“It’s an intention of Mr. President. Go and right the wrongs of the Southeast,” Umahi quoted the President as directing.

The former Ebonyi State governor also appeared to make a direct reference to Obi while discussing political competition and the 2027 elections.

“He's a very good brother, friend. I wish him a happy birthday, he did to me when I celebrated my birthday” Umahi said.

He, however, insisted that the political debate should be centred on issues and governance rather than personal sentiments.

Umahi urged Nigerians to assess the Tinubu administration based on its performance, particularly in infrastructure development, rather than allowing regional or emotional considerations to determine their political choices.

He cited several road and bridge projects as examples of what he described as the administration's commitment to national development, including projects linking different parts of the country.

The name of the game Peter Obi plays in his bid for the Nigerian Presidency is Delusion. Delusion is a fixed belief that is not amenable to change in light of conflicting evidence. Peter Obi clearly did not win the last Presidential Elections but he insists to the contrary and his deluded supporters agree with him despite conflicting evidence! Delusion is a fatal phenomenon!! I must state that I am not a partisan politician or a Tinubu fan. Tinubu is not electable in 2027 since he could not fix the electricity supply problem. He promised to not present himself for reelection in the event that he fails to fix the electricity supply problem. I just cannot understand why as a people we are not rooting for a Yemi Osinbajo and or an Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to be President. They are folks who can fix our space but we are presently bickering over politicians whose performance are under par.

For future reference, I decided to put up this write up.

Introduction.

For decades, I have been a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, I served as an Usher and House Fellowship Minister at R.C.C.G., Key of Life Parish, under Ogun Province 29, Mobalufon, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria.

My Spiritual Encounter with Pastor E.A. Adeboye (Daddy G.O.)

Shortly after the Holy Spirit, revealed to me that I am a Major Prophet, He equally showed me an SUV in heaven within that same dream.

Then, I started dreaming about Pastor E.A. Adeboye.
Below, are the dreams I could remember:

(1) I had a dream, saw myself playing the role of his assistant, while ministering on the altar.

(2) In another encounter, I saw myself and Pastor E.A. Adeboye, going somewhere, but I noticed a miracle, I was jumping / flying and moving faster while following Pastor E.A. Adeboye

(3) I had a dream, Pastor E A. Adeboye and I were in a particular place, then, I saw the name of Pastor E.A. Adeboye written on the hard cover of my book, then, as I saw it and got surprised, I showed it to Pastor E A. Adeboye and he saw it too, then, the Lord declared him as my SPIRITUAL FATHER.
And physically, I announced him as my Spiritual Father and started following his steps

(4) In a dream, Pastor E.A. Adeboye and I were inside a particular building which I suspected to be within Redemption City.
I was playing a role of his assistant, then, he went upstairs to do something, I was waiting for him downstairs, then, he later returned downstairs, as we were trying to move out of the building, suddenly, Pastor E A. Adeboye got attacked by the enemy.
As a result, he wanted to collapse, I have to support him with my hand, he rested on my hand, then, I shouted, this is witchcraft attack!
Then, I asked someone within the room to get me water, the person brought the water with a cup, then, I gave him the water, he got relieved.
Then, I prayed for him, saying, "YOU SHALL NOT DIE BUT LIVE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST"
Then, I ordered everyone in the room to vacate the room for us, then, I confronted the enemy responsible for the attack, saying, "whoever is responsible for this attack, show up".
I was ready to combat the witch, then, I woke up.

Immediately I woke up, I was able to interpret the dream that God wants me to be praying for Pastor E A. Adeboye specially, so, I took it as an important responsibility, started Interceding for him and his family on daily basis, till now.

(5) Moses, despite being a prophet, he needed Aron and Joshua to succeed in his ministry.

No one is an Island of knowledge.

My encounter with Pastor E.A. Adeboye in a dream, in the dream, I attempted to ask him the following question from the dream, thus:

"Daddy G.O., can I pray for you sir?

I prayed, both in dream and physical, God helped me, it worked!

It worked, that is, subsequently, in response to my prayers for Daddy G.O., in a dream, I received a message from God, thus:

"PEACE FOR DADDY G.O."

Then, physically, I continued to intercede for him and his family on daily basis.

(6) There is an elaborate event I am planning to do in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, very soon, a milestone achievement, for the success of my ministry.
So, I had a dream, where the Holy Spirit telling me to invite Pastor E.A. Adeboye as my Guest Minister for the occasion.

(7) Similar encounter, previously, there was a day I had a dream seen Pastor E.A. Adeboye's son, Pastor Leke Adeboye.

( In another similar encounter, previously, I a dream, I saw myself, attending Pastor E.A. Adeboye's Wife program, I was waving white mantle.

They say, revelation is progressive, revelation is continuous,

My revelation with Pastor E.A. Adeboye continues as thus:

The Day God Declared Me The General Overseer, R.C.C.G., Worldwide.

Shortly after God instructed me to invite Pastor E.A. Adeboye as my Guest Minister to my upcoming event in Ijebu Ode.

On August 7, 2026, I received a message from the Holy Spirit, declaring Fresh Revival, Fresh Anointing upon my life.

Then, on the following day, August 8, 2026,

Then, the Holy Spirit, via daydreaming, said to me:

"Your appointment, a General Overseer"

At my Ijebu Ode Residence.

Indeed a solution to corruption in Nigeria is for all corrupt to confess and surrender their loot and we all collectively have a focus to eschew corruption in our society while a general amnesty is granted and thereafter anyone caught stealing from Nigeriais thrown in jail for life with hard labour without option of parole or state pardon by the president or a governor of a state. However Sen. Kalu’s manner shows a lack of shame and contrition. They failed their generation, the baby boomers, the millennials and now the Gen Z who are asking them for answers. God will ask them for answers and unfortunately when they can no longer make amends. After they have surrendered ALL they looted and stole from the Nigerian Treasury and State they can seek a State Pardon and make their ways right with God. The alternative is eternal damnation and a ruination of their names on earth. For example, it makes no difference if a thousand Buhari shout themselves hoarse that Sanni Abacha was not a thief we all know who he was!
