Imarnuel04:One who holds down a respectable job has healthcare cover for the immediate family at the very least not to talk of our President. You and I are paying like it or not! |
Here’s wishing the young man a quick recovery but the question remains whether Abuja is a race track and discloses recklessness not befitting members of the first family. Is this Patience Jonathan Opposite equal? |
demmy100:He reasons this way: 1. The state workforce is over bloated for the resources available. 2. The state workforce is akin to a bottomless pit - it’ll swallow the meagre resources available to the State and will still not be enough. 3. Not all citizens in the State are public servants thus unfair to spend all ATTEMPTING to satisfy the salary head in the budget. Public infrastructure such as roads deserve some attention as well. 4. Workers are averse to a reduction in the work force but amenable to taking “modulated” (F.M. or A.M.!) salary! 5. If this is wicked then the workers and the Governor are complicit! Bitter pill? |
nawtyme:You meant to say Packets of Lipton Teabags! |
AjalaJ:He brought this on himself when he took on too many projects without adequately planning to see whether he had the resources to execute them all and now has to throttle hard to avoid been laughed at for not completing them after his boasts to do so. |
Akkord4gov:Nothing wrong with those parties. If you must know it was Bola Ige the hero of APC who set PDP in motion only to take flight when he realised it had been congenitally infected by politicians Not of his own ideological persuasion. Solution is for all to play. |
OrestesDante:You know somebody but God who is not pliable when the pliers are put to work? |
Brooke60:Look at your post carefully and see whether it fits into now or time back when Mimiko WAS Governor! You will thank me later! |
Did I hear some workers union rooting for a politician from whichever party promising to payback the earned but grabbed salaries? Oyo l’owa! The modulated salary is a smart way of reducing the State wage bill and by default work force-forever - mark my words! No politician wants to go back to days when he has to go a borrowing from the banks to pay salaries! |
Akkord4gov:God didn’t grab your hand and put your thumb to the ballot paper! Did he? |
“Modulated” salary- dogon turenci!!! Na afusatu and quadri dem dey call am!!! |
Brooke60:PhD copy and paste! Your supervisor didn’t examine your thesis well o!! |
Better late than never!! Eko agba! Ale tile!!! Time and again politicians have messed with them and got away with it!!!! lolzzzzzzx |
Welcome back from your disaster of a foreign speech circuit design to launder your worsted image. A man who looted his country’s resources in local and foreign currencies in a failed attempt to influence his re-election bid and running away from court proceedings purporting to be an election observer elsewhere! Hope he went there in the company of shepopo who serially embarrassed our country by her awkward manners. Foolery. |
The statement by Innoson is contemptuous of the Court. |
What sacrifice have politicians andtheir appointees made? Is the Governor receiving less than his entitlements in salary, allowances and security votes? His call to the public servants to endure till March 2018 when he will be rounding off his term in office insults the intelligence of Osun Public Servants and is at best mischievous. |
This guy has got integrity. Done business with him here with no regrets. And to think we live far apart! |
Only in Nigeria! |
jaychubi:Your 12 year rule before assessment for Professorship is one reason not much progress is visible in our ivory towers. That is not today. Doing the same thing the same way forever will guarantee stagnancy and ultimately regression. You will look very hard to find Professors in the Federal and State Universities who at such age had the exposure those three have packed into their young age. It is for good. As an aside look at our Supreme Court where the North of Nigeria have held sway for decades now simply by ensuring their Judges get to the high court at a young age. Do you get my drift? |
Crying over split milk! Igbayi laaro t’arugbo n’sunkun oge!! The Governor has taken them for a ride for too long - and on their ticket!!! Blown bunch!!!!! |
Israel knows her friends- fair weather and all. Truth is, you cannot stop an idea whose time is now. All nations soon will beat their swords into ploughshares and celebrate Jerusalem as capital of Israel and the war arsenal of man will come under the command of one man who will attempt without success to fight his creator at Armageddon. |
wink2015:You do not appear to understand and appreciate the accepted fact that our political leadership issues are responsible for the lack of convergence of the public and the ivory tower. |
kraftyiyk:I was thinking of how much it costs to attend the best Universities in the world and the price those universities pay to stay the best of the lot. |
jaychubi:You missed the point. 1. A private university only about a decade old produced them. That, in itself, is some feat to be applauded and recognized. 2. They are largely homegrown especially the third University Don whose academic degrees up to Ph.d were all taken from the Covenant University and received recognition from Princeton, US State Department et al! 3. Celebrate excellence. |
Proof. |
You can’t stop an idea whose time is now! |
ernieboy:Ok. I understand you. GLO investing in Benin republic was a misadventure. Were they expecting refugees from Nigeria to shore up the subscriber base! GLO is only all about what The Bull thinks is right and that is The Minus! |
Who does this ostrich think he is deceiving! When one wants something very badly the search for the thing can be very badly. |
The gunshot he deserved is better than the beating he received. |
One works for a payday and it is the take of Gov. Okorocha that the salary due is to make the fellow “happy”. Seriously doubt that Gov. Okorocha has read The Magna Carta or understands why he is Governor! He is taking the people for a ride that will cost him before God. #Repent |
In the same manner shall Najeem Salam beg. May Najeem Salam and his ilk reap the reward of their failure to provide good governance in accordance with the oath of office they subscribed to. The roads leading to EVERYWHERE in that constituency are bad. Ibadan-Iwo-Osogbo Road, Osogbo-Ejigbo Road et al have been in pitiable conditions for well over a decade now and he is here shamelessly distributing packs of Lipton! During the French Revolution His type took their turn at the guillotine! This is gross!! I can only imagine what this means to the Vice-President. His mother hails from that constituency. |
A U.N. vote of no moment. |
