Trade surplus on the US side because we opened a Refimery in Nigeria.
What ignorance sha!

The essence of WTO and international trade is for you as a leader of a country to ensure that in trading with other countries you put your country first and in a better position to advance your economy.

Estacode right?
Yes! That is what the British Colonialists who taught us corruption call it. You will scream when the books are opened and you see how much of our forex have flowed into the bank accounts of our Heads of State especially Olusegun Obasanjo and now Bola Tinubu under the guise of Estacode. I must not forget to mention that fake “Mr. Clean” known as Mohammed Buhari.

Some of you really need to go back to school. "Any means necessary" is not applicable to governance.A governor's powers are not unlimited. They must act within the constitution and subject to the laws of the land.
Sorry Sir, I meant to say within the realm of what is Constitutional. I thank you for your advise for me to get an education. You may wish to recommend a few schools.
Politics › Faces Of Those Who Claim They Want To Rescue Nigeria! by zoedew(op): 10:28pm On Jan 28
These are the faces of some of those who claim they want to rescue Nigeria! They will do well to state in very specific terms their individual records in the private and public sectors not leaving out their family and marital lives.
Faces of those who want to rescue Nigeria:

Bolaji Abdullhai, former Minister of Sports

David Mark, former Minister of Communications, former senate president, he was in the senate for 20 years

Atiku Abubakar, former vice president

Rotimi Amaechi, Former Speaker, Rivers State House of Assembly, former Governor of Rivers State, former Minister of transportation. He was in power for consecutive 24 years

Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State, he was there for 8 years

Emeka Ihedioha, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, he was in the Green Chamber for 12 years, he also served as the Governor of Imo State for almost a year.

What exactly are they planning to do? Which new idea are they bringing? What exactly is fresh about them? What did they do differently when they occupied those offices? They are all former this and that, that's what they will remain till God knows.
I take particular note of the omission of Rauf Aregbesola a divisive figure who almost tore Osun State apart destroying personal, neighborhood and family relationships during his tenure as Osun State Governor. By the way, I am not a partisan politician. I speak from the perspective of a Nigerian who is well acquainted with their trajectories in public life.

You don't fight "sit at home" with an even longer "sit at home".You can't fight illegality with illegality. What the governor has done is restraint of trade which is an offence under the law.Elected officials are expected to be law abiding, unfortunately, in Nigeria, that is not always the case. The governor has no right or power under the law to close private businesses because they did not open on a certain day and time. This is clearly an abuse of the powers of his office. Apga has ruled Anambra for too long and there is need for another party to govern the state.Political monopoly is bad.
You cannot take away from the established fact that government using means it considers necessary has a duty to stop restraint of trade that Monday sit at home amounts to. There is no political party that will subscribe to your point of view!

Mr. Owoade the current Alaafin has managed to fight everyone, even the person who chose him over others to become Alaafin.
The Alaafin must, sooner than later, be his own man! A son that is for all time tied to the apron strings of his parents has not grown up! Makinde is a thoroughly immature fellow. Ajimobi was better: he was intentional about his style!

Over time governors have proven to be the boss of this so called traditional rulers. Shame to those called traditional rulers that chose to play politics over serving the people.

Makinde shouldn't let this slide. He should go ahead and stripe them of their title just like we saw in Kano state and the likes.
It is not that easy to remove a traditional ruler of such status especially where the traditional remains dignified in his private and public conduct. Kano is not a good example here because the incumbent is mistake. A traditional ruler worth calling one stays away from public discourse on issues. That is one of the sacrifices a traditional ruler makes on his ascendancy to the throne as you cannot eat your keep and still have it as Prince Harry of Sussex attempted to do recently.

Good governance is the most important.
Which is why Fubara is required by the Constitution of Nigeria to subject himself to the Rivers State House of Assembly by presenting the budget and list of Commissioners to the House who are the representatives of the people. In the alternative he should respond to the Allegations of gross misconduct made by the House who represent the people instead of running to the Court whose Orders he disobeys serially.

A taste of what is to come for Fubara the State Governor who has blatantly refused to govern in line with the Constitution of Nigeria. Fubara is not a democrat but a taciturn despot, dictator and tyrant who is in a continuing disobedience of Court Orders and refuses to be subject to be subject to the oversight of the Rivers State House of Assembly. He is proud, arrogant and one given to street manners of the quiet but sadistic sort. Take a look at his photographs of handshakes with people and it should soon be obvious that he lacks humility! Fubara gets friendly just to get by! He successfully fooled Wike!
