Pls who can confirm tuition deposit of Fanshawe college fo secure a seat

Quick question.

A friend of mine was recently denied study visa based on insufficient funds. He used his uncle as his sponsor and the opening balance was about 200 something thousand Naira and closing balance was about 32million.( I have asked him to request gcms note to get details about his refusal he said he doesn’t know how) He has a business which he also added his bank statements(with about 3.5mil) and cac for the first application.

My question is this…

He wants to use his younger sister now as his sponsor who is a Nurse in America(moved from New Zealand to US last year) She has a fixed deposit of 20million in her Naira account and has a joint acct with her husband with about $30k USD(her husband is willing to co sign the sponsorship letter) Can his sister use these 2 Accts the (Naira and US accts) as POF. The candidate in question will also put his own acct with about 4mil and his cac and land documents et al. Do you think this will fly? Will changing sponsor affect anything?

PS he deferred his admission from sept to Jan 2024

Yes it can fly if well packaged.
Changing sponsors wouldn't affect anything. Need to really prove why his or her sister and her hubby will jointly want to sponsor tho in the sop

He doesn't have any response. People just coming to public space to make statements they can't prove. The school don't offer programs eligible for pgwp. Best you inform people about that and not making claims they defraud people. The school has never claimed to offer programs eligible for pgwp. They always state it clear.

What do you mean by help intl student? You called them frauds and I am wondering how they defraud people. They told you clearly they don't offer program eligible for PGWP.

What exactly is fraudulent about them? This is public space. Don't give wrong information. They are a private college. They don't offer programs eligible PGWP and they have never stated other wise. So how exactly are they fraudulent and who have they defrauded??

Also, for someone who has had refusal before, am I to create a subheading for it in my LOE to address the previous refusals of study permit? Please, if you have reapplied before and got approval, kindly answer this question in relation to what you did please.

When answering the questionnaire in your portal, you will be asked if you have done medical in last 1 year or so. If your answer was yes, you will see where to attach your medical sheet on the portal.

Depending on the reason of your approval, you can combine your previous sop and add the added explanation of the refusal you are addressing. Just make it obvious for the VO not to miss out that it's a reapplication.

Lastly, when did you apply? Hope it wasn't before rate went up. If not, you will also need to rework your pof

Not out of place if your fully sponsored.

Question should be what you did to prove relationship with your uncle and why he should sponsor you.
Also your uncle source of income.
Building your acct is easier said than done. It's convincing the VO that you left school 4 years ago and have accumulated 20m? Through which means? These are the questions you should ask yourself.

You can work on your uncle sponsoring you and package the whole application well.
Lastly, order your gcms notes

Are you working or doing business? If yes then you will have to build your acct and show something significant inside. Your uncle can be cosponsor/or gift you. Which ever is the case, you have to prove relationship with your uncle and convince the VO why he should sponsor you

Also what's the minimum amount someone can have in his bank account to submit personal account statement before applying for Canadian Student's Visa?
(Note; My elder brother is my sponsor and will be giving me his account statement).

One step at a time get visa first before asking what amount you will use as BTA.

As for your brother being your sponsor. It depends on the cost of your tuition, the duration and the number of Dependants if any.
Also, are you working or doing business for a while? If yes, then it wouldn't be logical sensible for your brother to fully sponsor you.

Best way to clear your doubts is to order for your CBSA notes.

You can apply for the PR intl express entry and also apply for study visa..they are independent of each other.

Yes the pof can be accepted. Onus lies on you to convince them why your inlaw should be sponsoring you.

No, it's not. I work as a procurement agent (remote). Getting a Job in a medical lab with just bsc microbiology was not possible for me as they only accept certified med lab scientists. That's why I want to get the certificate and be able to work as a medical lab scientist in canada

Your study gap is 6 years. Would be very difficult to show career progression and convince the VO that after 6 years you want to go back to medical lab after working as a procurement agent for a while.

Someone told me that study visa for Diploma/certificate program as a bsc holder usually get rejected with logical progression of studies as reason for denial. You have been misinformed. With a good SOP showing career progression and successfully linking what you are currently doing now with the program you want to study. Question should be what are you doing now? What's your job role? Is it related to medical laboratory science??

Thank you. I explained all those with documents. The funds from my employer was a one time bonus with narration and company name and I included an email notification to all staff about the payment. Other funds from my company were my monthly salary and I added payslips and all employment documents. The VO didnt believe. I also paid 6K CAD tuition deposit enough for one semester already and he didnt mention that. I am thinking whether to pay more fees or do GIC?

If the funds are available, pay the balance of annual tuition then do GIC. With this and the funds still there for 3 months now, you should be fine. Don't fail to explain and point the VO attention to the fact the money has been there for the 3 months and you have paid tuition and GIC to demonstrate that the funds are indeed available. Finally,

That will be enough. In your reapplication, explain also the sources of the money and add all supporting documents and assure the VO that's its not for donstrative purpose as your CBSA stated and the money has been available. Hope you have been using that account for daily transactions since then and also showing inflows of your salaries. Use the next one month to ensure inflow and outflow.

Finally, if it's possible to pay part of your tuition, that will also demonstrate that indeed the money is available for your study.

Another issue of volatile balance and low opening balance. Best bet is to leave the money there for another 2 to 3 months so the opening balance will be significantly higher then explain in next application the same explanation for the lump sums. The high opening balance in next application will demonstrate that the funds there are not for demonstrative purposes

My ward’s friend just got a refusal.
Sponsor is her mum, MBS of about N27m+, no tuition deposit(school didn't request), going for a 4 year course. Submitted June 22nd.
Submitted CAC, pictures , receipts and source of funds for future payments. Also a couple landed assets. Sponsorship letters, affidavits and LOE to explain lump sum on Sponsor’s account which happened months ago. Opening bal N2m plus, Account turnover over N90m, 5months MBS . Most of the N27m happened less than a month before submission( this is guess of the problem).

Inputs are welcome. CBSA note already requested.

4 years program. Only a CBSA notes can truly tell. Advise you guys wait for it. Just as you guessed, I also guess the volatile balance caused it(bulk of the 27m happening in the last 1 month inside a 5 months MBS)

Also they seem to also have issues with the said amount not being sufficient hence he doubts if you have enough to cover your flight tickets and miscellaneous

That date is not far off. Just have plausible reason why you will be resuming 1 week late.

Is it possible you send a mail to your school to inform them of the 1 week lateness and explain your reason. Hopefully they give you a positive feedback and a cover to resume that date. You print the correspondence as further evidence to present to immigration at POE

You need to first enroll as a student in your school in Nova Scotia. Then inform ircc using their website by uploading both LOAs from old and new schools and other required docs.

You can do it yourself. Alot of ppl here have done it themselves. It's basically writing the sop and attach all necessary supporting documents which you will get most guidance here. You can write the sop and get someone here to review or get someone to write it for you. That's it basically. No much big deal there if you think you can do it yourself if orderly guided
