Whoever told you America is a Christian state? It's a secular state, you have thousands of Americans that are Muslims in Iraq & Afghanistan that are soldiers. You have the right to religious freedom in America, something that is lacking predominantly in Northern Nigeria. They surely are not Christians, Buddhist or Atheist. Perhaps you can enlighten us as to what religious affiliations they have. The issue here is that the symptoms are the same as other Islamic extremist groups around the world i.e. Al-Shahab in Somalia, Al-Qaeda in the Middle East and now in Africa. How can you call killing innocent people irrespective of their religious background Jihad? Bombing churches with kids, women and children in it is not fight against Infidels; all these bare the hall-mark of Islamic extremism.
