Let me make it clear to you. Ngige is my man anytime, any-day. Infact before I joined fed. min.,the first stint I made on being close to government was during Ngige's time when he made my uncle special adviser on IGR. Infact I would most times accompany my uncle to meet Ngige on the updates concerning the growth of IGR in the state.

Ngige is a charistmatic leader and a man with so much energy and stamina. He would most times visit sites to confirm the SPECs applied by contractors. But I wouldn't give it to him when talks trash about Obi, who has equally affected lives in almost all the sectors.

Ngige did well no doubt. He did most roads which were abandoned prior before he came. But in the case of Obi, he touched many areas: road, education, agriculture, transport, ict, industrialization and creation of much needed employment.

Infact I would still love leaders in the mould of Obi and Ngige to lead Anambra once more. Dalu

I respect your response nwanna. I can tell you are on ground and have definitely more than a passing look at what is going on. I personally would like us to encourage competition among our politicians and if ngige can drive competition for the good of our state then so be it.

On a personal level I must confess that obi's tenure has favoured my family at home directly but I still think he can do so much more for everyone especially in areas of security and orientation which our people need. These are areas where ngige did very well.

Our home could be better and I don't care who's in charge. Na all of us get am and if there is no giant strides taken at this sensitive time our children will grow up to yab our generation

SHUT UP...YOU ARE FROM ANAMBRA.WHY ARE DENYING YOUR STATE?YOU ARE NOW CLAIMING CALABAR because NYOU BELIEVE CALABAR IS FAR BETTER THAN ANMABRA

May you see in your family what u wish others. Am from Cross River but am a ZIKITE. I must say you are an unrepentant liar. I live in Awka but I go to Onitsha at least once a month to shop at main market. I must confess that Onitsha is neat now, with good roads.from the entrance, last month I was coming back from lagos the Headbridge has been widened so much so that its now like the ikorodu road in lagos. I still saw them putting street lite from headbridge down as at last week. As for Awka, its one place I enjoy due to its hospitality, because it has good number of nice hotels (I club a lot) and clubs, its a bubbling place in terms of jolly. All those Onitsha boys always storm Awka every weekened to spend cash..they are really money spinners. All in all Awka and Onitsha are nice at least in nigerian standard. I have not been to Nnewi can't say much. But the only bad side of Obi is that I heard he is tight fisted

Ngige,the diminutive drama b.itch again.

I know an illustrious Professor of Anambra origin that submitted a proposal to Ngige on a plan to achieve critical infrastructure to lay the foundation for the state. Such as the need then for an airport,an accredited specialist hospital in Onitsha and Awka,a civil service secretariat, how to boost the internally generated revenue without over taxing citizens, the need to solve the acute housing crisis by building a bridge across Nkisi river at Omagba in Onitsha and possibly another one at the end of Niger drive of GRA, Onitsha. In order to access vast virgin areas for decent housing development to de-congest Onitsha, how to make the Oba international market rival the main market and boost employment in the state and how to develop the just created state university into a center of excellence, orderly development of the markets to ensure their growth and sustainability, agricultural intervention in areas and crops of comparative advantage etc.

He flatly ignored those hard pondered proposal by this expert. The man in question now is relocated to the USA and is a professor in a university in Baltimore,Maryland. When Gov. Obi's victory was vindicated by the courts, my husband and a few notable Nigerians prevailed on this prof to re-submit his research and proposals to Obi. To date, Obi has implemented 50% of the proposal. Ngige at some point started claiming Obi was implementing his agenda!!!

Ngige is just a shameless attention seeker that really have no strategic vision nor clue about how to develop a state. In his mind, once you tar roads around Idemili and environs, the state will somehow magically develop itself. No plan whatsoever is required.

Strike off Roches from the list he does not qualify to be an LG chairman in Anambra. He is a fraud, a thug and worst gov out of the east.He has incurred over 100B debt with nothing on ground to show for it.

I think imo state needs a Peter Obi to reengineer their economy and touch on all aspects and above all to manage men, money and material appropriately.

Chime has tried in Enugu at least on roads, but he can not match the multifaceted approach of Obi (education, health, transport, industrialization, employment, roads).

We need a Soludo next. Am from Uga same place as Andy Uba, but I will not throw my support on any person that will not give my beloved Anambra(Light of the Nation) the best just because he or she is from my town. Though Andy may have good intentions too just like Soludo who is from same LGA (Aguata) as myself, but we all want the very best. Dalu

Why all these lies about Ngige? I personally used two roads outside Idenmili to access Nnewi. One was from Orsumoghu/Isseke and the other was Ozubulu all done by Ngige. Infact Ngige did countless small but solid rural roads in Anambra State. The road from Ekulobia to Uga too up to Imo State boundary at Akokwa was done by Ngige. So stop the lies.

Andy Uba!!! Odila ha manu ejila anula na Nairaland.
Ngige started tђє road a̲̅ηϑ couldn't finish it, Peter continued till yσυ pass through Lilu/Orsumoghu to Ihila Total a̲̅ηϑ also busrt to Azia junction, even extended to Ihembosi. It was completed in 2008, whereas Ngige left 2006, wђy crediting Ngige here against Peter Obi? Ngige started fяø̲̣m Umunze to Umuchu a̲̅ηϑ left, Peter continued fяø̲̣m umuchu through Amesi/Uga/Nkpologwu/Ezinifite to Nkwo Igboukwu. If yσυ a̶̲̥̅̊я̲̅ε̲̣ telling m̶̥̊e Ngige just did Idemili a̲̅ηϑ few Nnewi a̲̅ηϑ a̲̅ηϑ Aguata, wђɑ̤̈̊t of other 17 LGAs. Tell m̶̥̊e yøúř town let m̶̥̊e gi̶̲̥̅̊√ę yσυ Peter Obi's presence in yøúř town. Cos I knw if yσυ a̶̲̥̅̊я̲̅ε̲̣ talking fяø̲̣m Nnewi, yσυ tell m̶̥̊e who constructed Oba new a̲̅ηϑ old road to Nnewi a̲̅ηϑ all part of Otolo, Nnewichi a̲̅ηϑ Umudim. It's only Uruagu τ̣ђǎ̜τ̲̣ is still under construction. If yσυ a̶̲̥̅̊я̲̅ε̲̣ talking fяø̲̣m Aguata, who constructed Ekwulobia through okoh to ajali side, to all these ndiokpalaeze. Guy, yσυ guys should stop attributing Peter's achievement to Ngige, if care is not taken, yσυ a̶̲̥̅̊я̲̅ε̲̣ not even in Anambra a̲̅ηϑ yσυ a̶̲̥̅̊я̲̅ε̲̣ judging fяø̲̣m wђɑ̤̈̊t τ̣ђǎ̜τ̲̣ fool τ̣ђǎ̜τ̲̣ can't even sponsor a bill in tђє senate is talking. But it's a pity τ̣ђǎ̜τ̲̣ learnrd ppl a̶̲̥̅̊я̲̅ε̲̣ rating a gov of 3yrs fσя building few roads while other infrastructures a̲̅ηϑ agencies were swept under tђє carpet.

That is the point. As much as we will admit that Ngige tried in his own capacity. I still believe that Peter Obi is an all rounder, he focused on all aspects of human existence in the state.

His works traversed entire spectrum of development. A layman may think that development starts and ends with tarring some roads in the urban center without touching the hinterland. Obi has made Anambra a one-city-state, whereby people can live in Ekwulobia, Nanka, Nimo, Agulu etc. and still work in Awka, or somebody living in Awka and work in Onitsha or Nnewi, thereby decongesting the urban centers. This is possible due to good asphalted roads. I have a colleague who lives in Agulu but works with us here in Awka due to good roads from Awka to Agulu and beyond up to Ekwulobia, Uga etc.

My niece works at NAFDAC Regional Laboratory Complex in Agulu near Awka, but she she lives in Awka, this is made possible due to good accessible roads. This is one of the things Obi achieved making Anambra: A One-City-State

Ngige is 100% correct going by my assessment. I stopped talking about Peter Obi because some gullible Anambrians fell for the trap of his paid internet agents of seeing Peter Obi's critics as enemies of Anambra. I've been opportuned to discuss one on one with Ngige and he is a real man that loves Nigeria and Igboland. He is not a tribalist like Peter Obi and his goons and his achievements still speaks volumes 7 years later. Soludo is another great nationalist.

I really have some time this morning. Mr Seun lol

Peter Obi is a tribalist because when his budget was criticized by El-Rufai he twisted it to Igbo vs Hausa/Fulani rather than countering El-Rufai's points. Chino his Nairaland paid agent also does the same thing by attacking individuals instead of defending his "Oga at the top".

For those who did not know, Orient petroleum and oil exploration is Mbadinuju's legacy but Chino has been blowing it out of proportion like its Peter Obi's.
