udopee:

Anything family planning method that is not Natural, count me off. There is nothing more fulfilling and self actualizing than you taking full charge of your health and emplohing ur God given potentials. Am a Family planning consultant but when you opt into any health facility for family planning, the nurses there will hardly explain the benefits of Natural methods of Family planning to their clients due to the money they want to make through all this hormal methods and artificial ones, not minding the numerous side effects and alterations they causes to their clients. My advice for the OP is to go for Natural method and save herself from future complications like breast cancers and most female cancers. These hormones and pills are CHEMICALS cool cool

Easier said than done.... Not every woman's cycle is stable and predictable like yours, you are lucky! The natural method also requires dedication and tolerance which some couples don't have. The fact dat you'v adjusted favourably to it doesn't mean others can. I will still emphasize on knowing your body and the best suitable method for you.

younggirl: Pls i need help here! I have been on birth control implant(implanon) for five months and its been crazy for me. Headaches, fever, bloatedness, blurred vision and general body weakness. I have also not seen af for over four months now and I've added weight seriously. I am sooo fed up of this implant and want it off. But some friends said its normal.

Pls for those who have had experiences or presently experiencing any of these symptoms, pls come in and share as this will help me alot. Thanks
The experience is normal especially in the first month. The adding weigth part is more worrisome though cos it is common. Happened to me too.

My candid medical advise for u is to discontinue any form of birth control pills ur using cos they have side effects. Withdrawal method as well of use of condoms and contraceptives are also not advisable, don't allow anyone to deceive u telling u dat withdrawal method is d easiest, safest and d only way out . However its advisable 4 u and ur hubby to meet when ur safe. Any doctor who gives u any contrary advise isn't telling u the truth

illitrate: remove it. tell your hubby to commot him prick when him wan cumm or pushan comot when he don dey shout aaah eeeeh uuush

U got me cracking up ... Na real aah eeh ussh.. NL'ers, I hail u. My opinion:I tried implanon and spoted non stop for 2 months.... D thing tire me. I went to remove it and settled for withdrawal and CD. Wanna try IUD next but not too sure. I just don't want anything that'l mess up with my hormone anymore.

Withdrawal method is not the best.l and my hubby were using withdrawal method after our second child but l conceived with it.lt is not d best bc it can cause problem in ur marriage when u conceive with d method bc ur hubby may be doubting whether d pregnancy is really his
(am taking from my experience).
When l delivered d baby boy,he resemble my hubby more than d 2 other children i had earlier and he was begging me for forgiveness bc d way he treated me during d pregnancy.
@op pls see your doctor quickly.

TOO MANY COMMENTS
OP
1. I TAKE IT U WENT TO A HEALTH FACILITY TO HAVE UR IMPLANT INSERTED ( COS CHEMISTS CANT INDERT IT , ITS UNETHICAL) IF YES DID THEY COUNSEL YOU ? DID THEY RUN A TEST TO CHCK UR BP , WEIGHT, ETC?
2. WHEN YOU STARTED REACTING DID YOU GO BACK TO THEHEALTH FACILITY?
THERE ARE SO MANY MISCONCEPTIONS AND I DO BELIEVE THAT MOST OF OUR PROBLEMS CAN BE AVERTED WITH PROPER USAGE, AND A PROPER UNDERSTANDING OF HOW THE CONTRACEPTIVES WORK. ITS THE SAME WITH DRUGS THEY HAVE SIDE EFFECTS AND COULD BE HARMFUL IF YOURE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH IT. PLEASE CONSULT QUALIFIED PERSONNEL B4 U CONCLUDE RUBBISH.

I hope u are married if not I wonder why this is the FP option you chose.
See your doctor and try another FP method.
People have different bodies and so one method will not be best for another.

As for me,my wife isn't using any.For a regular cycle, you can only get pregnant in 7 days out of the whole 28days.If you've got discipline, abstinence for a few days and the use of a condom will suffice.

It's true.An egg only survives for 12-48hrs before it dies off if it is not fertilized.Sp.erm cells live only for about 5days before they die off.In a woman who has a regular cycle, the fertile period is usually not more than a week.

They should have left it a little longer in health section so people that know exactly what to say will say it. Instead of all this withdraw and insert response she is getting.

Every woman is different. There are countless women who have become pregnant during their cycle, right after their cycle, and right before. There's no time of the month that a woman cannot get pregnant. There is always a possibility.

That's why I said it has to be a regular cycle. There are women who ovulate twice in a cycle and others who have irregular cycles. For such they can get pregnant at any time of the month.
If your cycle is regular,u will only get pregnant at a certain part of your cycle.

Regular women too. In all my readings, I've never heard of "0%" days. Only "less likely" days. The only women who have 0% days are abstaining or non-active women to my knowledge.
