begging? no, mass begging.
motor park touts
omo onile
babaloja
armed robberies
bribery
kidnappings
counterfeiting
Yorubas are a bunch

The mass beggers are northerners.

There are more motor park touts in onitsha alone to fill the whole of sw parks.

Babaloja is the head of a market place, don't think its something bad. They are usually marketers themselves.

I tire for these people. in music, they will tell you p-square where there are a lot of musicians. in sport, they will tell you igbos are the best footballers where there are other sporting events. in writing, chimanda is the only one where there are numerous Nigeria writers. its called Igbo philosophy!

If that's where u want to delve into, then go and sleep.
As far as Nigerian literature is concerned, both those of local and international repute, give it to igbos .

How does it change the fact that Osun has a higher IGR than Ebonyi, Enugu, Anambra and Imo?

How does this your gibberish change the fact that yorobarland is a big slum with mud houses?

how does it change the fact that the beggars in Ibadan is by far more than what we have in south east?

how does it change the fact that the FG is building amaljiri schools for ur homeless kid thrown out due to extreme poverty?

how does it change the fact that CBN introduced cashless banking in anambra and abia due to high cash movement while none in ur five states of south west?

how does this change the glaring fact that no state in yorobar is as beautiful as Enugu or owerri?

how does it change the fact that 70% of ur youths are either agbero or omonile?

I have told them the IGR of SW doesn't belong to the yorubas.
When u have some IGR that doesn't reflect on the standards of living of the ppl, u will realise the most of the indigenes are docile.
The bulk of the taxes are paid by non yorubas and foreigners.
.
Yoruba leaders are the principally to blame, ppl like tinubu instead of opening job opportunities, will rather enroll their youths into touts that collect illegal fees and taxes after which they will be given stipends in return.
The Yoruba masses share part of the blame for being so lazy and dependent on govt.
They don't have the drive to create new sectors, a typical Yoruba graduate is programmed to work in already made non Yoruba venture where he receives 40k per month, the few with connections are programmed to work in a multinational firm as arranged by awolowo, the rest graduates and non graduates will become agberos and omo onile.

Sorry to ask; will the government give the poor people money to pay for the service when completed? Cos i dont see how the ascribed begger and people languishing in penury will pay for internet service. If u are making it free for all in line with your socialist mentality; then watch out for the ibos, they will use this same free service to make millions while ur people will be looking like toads. He should have used the money to build MOTOR PARKS and Mechanic Villages.

Zik was instrumental in Njoku and Dike's position.. As was with everything else in that era that the Ibo man was believed by Zik to be better than any other Nigerian, qualified and tenured professors of Yoruba stock were stepped over to install an Ibo man from underneath them. Achebe himself was tutored by Yorubas and in fact introduced to creative writing through a group called Mbari Mbayo. Achebe, Okigbo, Clark and Soyinka were some of the members. Mbari Mbayo was sponsored by a German researcher in UI, Uli Beier, who also happened to be Suzanne Wenger's husband. Yorubaland was surrogate for all Ibo scholars that achieve fame in one form or other.
The moment yorubas take up merit instead of quota and nepotism the better for u.

Don't over blow your own ego over the cashless policy, it was just a form of zoning.

Two best performing states in southwest, two in the north and two in the south east. That was just the idea, I'm not sure you're bright enough to understand that.

Zoning really? Tell us the form of zoning then that was used. The north is now a single zone against SW and SE. what of SS? I would have ignored you but I get irritated when most SWesterners pride in ignorance and deceit. I bet the cashless policy is of no relevance in ogun,

Low taxes should be an incentive for industries which the SE lacks

More and more corporations are opening in Ogun, Oyo and Osun further driving the IGRs in those states

Abeg one question before I forget

How come Enugu and the whole of the SE have only one Shoprite outlet more than two years after it was opened and Ibadan already has two less than six months after one was opened?

I also wanna know why KFC hasn't opened any outlet in the SE despite opening one, two, three in Ibadan

Is it that S'Easterners don't eat chickens and can't shop or the poverty rate is so high that people can't afford to sustain these businesses? I believe the latter is true.

Why also does Slot, owned by an Igbo man have branches all over Yorubaland, including Akure, Oshogbo, Ilorin, Sango Ota, Ife and 'poor' Ado-Ekiti with only one in the SE which is in Enugu? Of course he knows his kinsmen can't afford most of the phones he sells.

we dont need to leave our cities. we are not a generation of cain the wanderer. You look upto to SW as your greener pasture, we look upto US UK and Europe as our greener pastures and not a gully eroded and landslide disaster region.

You made trading in your 2 by 2 inches shops and backyard factories your hobby, or at best, importation of sub standard goods, we own multinationals producing goods of international standards, through the foresight of our forefathers, by acquiring shares in those companies. We control the shipping business that brings your goods, we control the financial institutions, while you are running and scheming on the next person to either rob or kidnap or use for money rituals.

you are so industrious and none of your people is named in the top 20 richest africans. is it by your 2 by 2 inches shops you will achieve that. They are so rich and poverty dotes every nook and cranny of alaigbo, crime is the order of the day in their land. they are so rich, they had to be running away from their uncles to SW, so that they wont kill them. Alaigbo is so bless that, even their Governors will rather invest their stolen monies in SW. The land that its people are running away from is cursed.

Ohaneze, Aka Ikenga and Massob will want to hold meeting, it will still be in SW. Are you guys not even ashamed? When did you hear Arewa people or SS people holding their ethnic fraternity meetings in SW.

Achebe nearly wrote with his teeth, just in the name of wanting to be a Nobel Laureate. His envious nature pushed him to write the disaster he wrote at his old age. Soyinka still remains the only Nobel Laureate. If you don't like it, you can jump inside the lagoon or igwuruta lake or Mississippi, depending on which one is closer to you. Chimanda has started from where her shameless uncle ended and we already know what will become of "my-uncle-told-me" writer. She had better repent of her envy too before she too ends up in the wheel chair like her despicable uncle.

Next thing they will say yorubas are dirty, leave our dirty land , they wont, they want to die there before their corpse are sent back to nnewi. We are dirty and their ladies will be having hairs, moustache and beards like baboons. They would have nearly bleached their skeleton. Can't you see hausa girls? Must you bleach before you can be fine. We should not even talk of prostitution, be it the corporate one or roadside one. Ibo girls can do their father just because of money.

I shake my head for an ethnic group that have sold their souls to money. Money driven, power thirsty, crime celebrating, crime encouraging, crime loving, envious and covetous race.

We are lazy, and we have always been ahead of them in everything. For your information, we are already planning on how to be the first african to go to the moon and mars, so if you want to die because of that, you can quickly jump in front of trailer along Lagos-ibadan expressway.

A lazy community is meant to have idle hands that will take to crime, leading to high level of crime rate and the attendant insecurity. What do we see in SW, investors are rushing in, both local and foreign. That attest to our assurance of security of lives and properties, which is as a result of gainfully employed youths not having time to take to crime - be it skilled and unskilled. Unlike some people's crime infested region.

i don tire for u na and u na no get shame.

I have 3 words for u ---- GO AND DIE

Back to base, how many Yoruba actors are on the world's stage?
None.
So, what are u saying?

Why do i even have to go into that with you? Actor is a relative term and world stage is a relative term.

On the world stage successful actors are acclaimed based on eurocentric and western values. I want my culture to promote and support Yoruba actors that project Yoruba culture to the world. Fela did not have the typical omoluabi lifestyle but he was an ambassador for Yoruba ethos and social accountability. He found place in Hollywood.
If Hubert Ogunde, Duro Ladipo and host of other Yoruba actors had directed their creativity to eurocentric drama and theater theyd be in Hollywood.

Ogunde was making movies in the 60s and 70s about occult topics that in 2000 were popularized in the Harry Porter series.

Of course! In fact SE is yet to understand and relate taxation with cultural power. This is because you never had city states with tributaries and never had to exact taxation on any throne, domestic or foreign.
