please house I thank una for the work we una de perform here. Its really encouraging for Nigerian people wishing to further education abroad.
I am a new member just started following up with you today cos de forum rily helps.
I get matter that I want the house to help me look into: I have a gap of five consecutive years after my high school graduation, I wish to sit for interview in 2 wks coming, I have fear currently that the VO mait ask me what I have been doing for the 5yrs. But I have in mind to say that I engaged in remedial course that is related to my field of study only. I want the house to predict for me whether the VO will be pleased by that or throw me out? If the house says yes VO will be pleased, has the house considered the number of years I spent on remedial course ( ie 5 yrs which the VO will calculate as the remedial course duration) in relation to the number of years I will spend in my field of study which is 4yrs?

Peeps, I would like to know which is better between Discover and CapitalOne credit cards for a student. I must say I know next to nothing about this and I am only just beginning to research both. All suggestions will be appreciated- including the ones better than above-mentioned... Also, here is wishing all those at various stages of their visa application process divine intervention and mercies.

I don't know what Capital One offer however, discover offers interest free credit card back then and I don't know if that applies till date. Also, they give unsecured credit while Capital One was giving secured credit. I still use my Discover Card after school although the prevailing interest rate now applies.

Hello house

Is it only reasonable verbal statement that one can use to prove ties or have the VOs ever required documents proving ties to this country at Lagos or Abuja embassy?

You don't need to show proof of land, house or anything as proof of ties.. Your verbal statement is enough.. Although if you are married with kids, you stand a better chance in the aspect of ties.

I engaged in all these extra moral or remedial classes (ie after high school courses ) It is not a college level course. And doesn't award at least certificate. And it is related to the field of study that I wish to study, but gives a strong background. But my greatest worry is the VO will be suspicious on how can one spent 5 yrs on remedial course while the main field of study will take 4yrs. Maybe I should use after high school, I had protracted illness that lasted for years, thereby reducing the 5yr period in remedial course? Please gurus in the house mek una add more ingredients to this soup!

I don't know much about discovery credit card, but I using Capital one presently. Capital one as two credit cards, master and visa. I will advice you to go for the master card with cheap interest rate(after one year of no interest) and good credit points.
If you have a good credit score, lot of credit card companies will send you pre-approved card but please make sure the read the terms and conditions before going into the agreement bro grin. Also there is no point in having more than two credit card, just keep that in mind wink
