If before this time i did not hear from the embassy am i suppose to write the school telling them the update and requesting for another admission letter for fall semester? or both admission letter and another i20?

You can email your school explaining to them the issue at hand and request they issue you extension for two weeks to resume school, if they grant your request then you're fine. It could give you a little time. But if they decline then you'll have to defer to fall. My opinion

So sorry about your situation.
I think you should also report officially to the police, there's no telling who might do what with your passport. Just be on the safe side and report. In the US your passport and drivers license are important documents for identity.

Depends on the agreement your school has/haf with a bank. In dome cases, you might be allowed to open a bank account with only your school ID and some other docs. But truthfully, The chances are bleak.
