*************************** We Went to a buka around my house and ordered for food.... Omo the mother food sweet die. We came back home without Joe coz he complained of stress and said he had to go home. We were in the parlour watching movies but my mind kept drifting. God!! The results were out o.... A voice told me to wait till I returned to Otwn to check it, the other told me to check it now. God it was getting too much, I couldnt wait anymore so I took kaka's phone. I logged into Imsu's website and saw a link for checking the post-utme results. I clicked immediately... After some seconds, the link opened. It required only my jamb registration number. I had my jamb reg. Number offhand, so I typed it in and said a quick prayer. It opened, the page showed all my details, i kept scrolling down and I saw what shocked me. Your score cannot be displayed due to some of the following reasons..... * wrong shading in the EMR. * wrong representation of personal details. * exam malpractise. I almost fainted, so Imsu fvcked me up. I closed the page immediately, and I remembered the words of that man at Vondabaic. So I logged in immediately to www.absu.edu.ng Their supplementary forms were on sale, and would end in eight days time, being next week tuesday. "bae..... You fit follow me go absu?? " i askd. "when" kaka replied. "before tuesday...." i said. "okay.. No p, shey wey go come back that day??" she asked. "that day or next sha, I neva sabi..." i said. "but wait o, why you dae go absu" she asked. "Imsu fvcked me up o.... I just checked that result thing o.... Dem no gv me score." i said. "aawwwwwww.... Sorry o, but you sabi pesin dia??" she asked. "yeah... I know someone there." i said. "oya nau, no p, you na my person nau... Me wan even buy Imsu supplementary if dem begin sell.." she said. So I quickly made my plans, I would go to Absu before thursday, and then proceed back home. I couldnt reach my mum, Eve and Ugonna, so I decided to suprise them by just showing up. 1 Like |

**************************** For the following days, kaka, Joe and I had endless fun, more like trying to console me. My aunty came back on wednesday evening and I told her of everything and my plans to travel to which she agreed. She gave me her phone to call my mum, which I did, she picked at second ring. "hmmmmmm, tricia, how are you??" she asked thinking she was unto my aunty. "mumcy goodevening..." i replied. "oooh... Alma, how are you??" she asked. "am fine woh.... Gi wa kwanu??" i asked. "nnem am fine kwa o... Just that Ive been very busy... Ine mekwa" she asked . "mmmmm" i replied. "ngwanu, let me talk to your aunty nu.... Onwere ihe ozo" she asked. "ehn... Mummy, m gala alota... Dont tell Eve, me I want to suprise her o... Ina anu??" i asked. "oooooh... Ngwanu o.... Nyerem aunty gi phone..." she said and I immediately rushed to aunty Tricia to give her the phone. They talked for a while before they said their goodbyes. **************************** Kaka and I went to Absu on Thursday but not before I put a call to my friend who was so happy to recieve me. We arrived at his house at Okigwe around 5pm. We talked but I was so tired that I slept off as we were talking, leaving him with Kaka. **************************** On Friday morning, I dressed up in my chelsea customized jersey over red ripped jeans. My friend told me I wasnt going to enter school because of the new school rule about ripped jeans and sleeveless clothes et al. So we decided to stop just In front of the school microfinance bank. Kaka wore a black chiffon shirt over white jeans with black slippers. We looked really simple. We walked down to EkeOkigwe and boarded a bus to school. **************************** "school bank!!!" someone who turned out to be my friend screamed just as we neared the bank. The bus rolled to a stop and we paid and came down. We crossed the road and walked into the microfinance bank. The bank was kinda fine sha, I liked the flowers and all... It was okay sha. There was a little crowd but we were all laughing oud and gisting, and before I knew it, it was my turn. "goodmorning ma, please I want to purchase the supplementary form..." i said. "10,500..." she said, i nodded and she gave me a teller to fill. I filled it and she gave me the legendary blue teller. We were come back on monday for the final processes for the form. We had to go back to school park to get a bus back to ekeokigwe. I entered the bus quickly to avoid stories that touch (because I was warned of my jeans.) we got to Ekeokigwe in ten minutes and walked back home. 2 Likes |

Alma, I can see that you are using transliteration like Chinua Achebe, but we have other ethnic groups that read your work. Just limit it. Still expecting more updates. |
