I am not sure this has to do with fake material. We have seen situations where facility maintenance officers deliberately spoil equipment just for the sake of requesting for maintenance allocations. That's is the level of moral decadence in our society.

san316: I always say this! Nigerian politicians understand the psychology of Nigerians. All they do is cosmetic development which only lasts for a short term before it fades away. Then another regime will come and use it as a campaign agenda. Nobody should blame the contractors. After the quotation for the project has been given and the amount disbursed, they have to settle certain individuals with more than 60% of the money. Now how do you want a standard job when it is done with less than half the required amount?

FYI, a contractor can be made to claim N1 billion but only N100 million gets to him while government officials share the bulk.

Many of Boeing 747 Airplanes had to be recalled for urgent repairs/adjustments when defects were noticed. That's an object that has to do with human lives. Were the manufacturers crucified for such anomaly. Have you seen newly imported cars malfunctioning?

I never knew Stella Odua was the contractor that handled construction of the Airports. I almost thought she was the minister in charge when the contracts were awarded. She cannot be the supervisor from Abuja. We should blame the project supervisors representing the aviation ministry and not Stella.
