yeah but dat won't be ready until next season. Even Rojenny dat was hitherto approved i heard d grasses are been replaced with an artificial turf. Neros stadium is yet to be completed. The two completed stadia in Onitsha are just but mini stadia which are below stardard requirements by d LMC

I would go with community fan based ownership, with a little bit of private and corporate body inputs.For me Government input should be out of the equation.

Also a well structured management team devoid of bitter politics and our usual individualistic approach to things. But more importantly a well secured environment before,during and after home matches, this way folks can feel secured and go to matches with their loved ones without fear whatsoever.

Anambra state must set the pace....we are uncommon creatures.

Definitely the community fan based ownership because there isn't any reason why a town like Okija,Ozubulu,Amichi,Awkaetiti,Nnewi to mention a will not be able to nurture and sponsor a club with all these billonaires floating around. Ndi Anambra need to change the way they do business if we must meet our expectation. A state that boast of the likes of Emeka Offor,Ifeanyi Uba,Arthur Eze and Obi Jackson should be struggling with financing a local club side. Do you guys know we don't even have a football Academy in Anambra. We need to do a lot of changes within ourselves if we really wanna be the pride of Africa. We need to enhance our cooperation and build Anambra from within so that our wealth can remain in our land.

Obi was never trying to build state of the art stadium but a comfortable ground where local talents can be discovered and developed.

One thing I discovered about Anambra government and her people is the economic importance of everything they want to get involved with.

I don't like it that Anambra have no standard stadium but it gives me joy that Anambra is ahead in education, health, environment, roads, housing, jobs and lower poverty rate.

Anambra deserves a standard staduim but let's fix the basic things first, there are state in Nigeria with airport nobody uses, some build stadia nobody uses, some built hotels without tourists yet they are down in the pecking order in the MDGs result.

I wish Anambra will use the staduim money to link MCC and Oraifite with a flyover, link Uga street and Atani Road with another flyover and dualize Atani Road for industrial expansion.

I want Anambra to build a State poly in Onicha and open a campus in Nnewi, we can do it if our government had my vision.

I was embittered when Power Mike was sold to Calidons, I used PowerMike when I was still small then in Secondary and I know how much we cherish the stadium being only mini stadium in Onicha Zone back then.
But when I discovered the place isn't that viable, they don't even have staffers, they rarely pay their workers salaries, pitch was already going bald...I lost interest in PowerMike but when I discovered it was bought by Calidon, a big and powerful factory is there now, any day am passing there and see thousands of our people trooping out from the company I feel elated and happy knowing how much food that have been placed people's tables.

Stadium is good but considering current economic reality I will ditch stadium for more people oriented projects like schools, roads and hospitals

No one could have said it better. Rojeny will be ready next year and IFeanyi Uba's stadium will also be ready same next year.A quick fix of Nero's complex will save the day and ensure home matches are played within Anambra state.
The issue of fly overs linking mcc and oraifite vis uga street and atani road will not only be a complete game changer but will totally alter the traffic charcter in those axis.I wonder who benefits from that girdlock and why successive governments failed to appreciate the import of such key projects. Respect bro, Igbos should start investing in media and communication, Orji has done well in that aspect, Iwuanyanwu should have gone far with Champion but he isn't an astute businessman like Kalu.
