Ojukwu once admitted that he wished he had an "Adekunle" in the Biafran Army.

If Adekunle had been in the Biafran army and Biafra had been victorious, don't you think he would have been a hero in Igboland today and the next person to succeed Ojukwu as the president of Biafra.

You are only embittered 'cos Adekunle was on the opposite side.

Wars are cruel and bitter but all is fair in wars, Nigger!

He could have been a hero to few perverts like he is hero to few Nairaland users now. His own boss didn't even attend his burial. You miss the point when you attach ethnic interpretation to it. Just imagine an army general trading his weapon on children and commanding his troops to shoot at women. See your own children on the opposite side.

CNN BREAKING NEWS:- 'benjamin ode.kunle' given a befitting rat-like burial in lagos nigeria.
The Yoruba hero's burial was attended by notable Yoruba touts from around the world.
The touts got disappointed when no kai kai was made available for them because of the lack of fund. They started fighting and later out of anger carried the corpse of the pauper and buried it in a gutter near ajegunle.

Rest in peace to a great hero.
His heroics was part of the reason why the late Ojukwu had to flee from a senseless war that was bound to fail from day 1.
Nigeria will forever be grateful.

That is just the way it is. They would have put his picture on Biafran currency.
Unfortunately Nigeria is a place where heroes are not recognized. You are only celebrated by the amount of money you can steal.
A place where a fighter pilot can be shot down and beheaded and the Military will say he is not one of their own just to cover up whatever.

Remarkable:
are you two really this politically naïve? to think that if Igbos alone vote for a particular candidate, he or she would win?

so they lost because Igbos didn't vote for them?

so the 3rd place Ojukwu got in the presidential race, the votes he got was from yorubas, hausas and other Nigerians, save for Igbos?

I really don't get how you guys' brain works sometimes when you say some things you do.. it seems dislike for Igbos causes some type of reverse reasoning... I really dunno...

stop blabbering!

In the presidential election Ojukwu contested in, how many southeastern states did he win?

In the senatorial election he contested in, what was the outcome?
You wanna tell me the election was rigged?
If you people were very sincere with the love you had for him, election wouldn't be rigged against him but for him.

Imagine Awolowo contesting a general election and his opponent from another region was announced to have a higher vote than awolowo in the western region. You think the western region would take it with levity?

God Punish the useless bastard mod that hid my post.

You did not see the outright display of hate and mockery of innocent children here but chose to delete my post.

As I said YORUBAS ARE THE PROBLEM.

Yorubas instituted corruption, nepotism and tribalism in the Civil Service after the civil war. The spoils of war dictated that they occupy the civil service. Guess how that turned out. If the Hausa/Fulani can be blamed for years of rot because they occupied the top spot, the Yorubas should bear full responsibility as well because they were the technocrats and civil servants.

Yorubas Pioneered drug trafficking in the 70's and they are still heavily invovled in it. While other tribes can't be exempted from this form of criminality and National image tainting, the Yorubas are by far more shameless in the game as majority of drug couriers invovle respected personalities within the Yoruba society. Assiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu started off as a drug mule and then rose to be a major drug traffiker. Even the demograph of drug mules till this day reflect the corrupt mentality of the Yoruba people with Middle aged women and men and celebrities forming the bulk of traffickers from that region. In essence, the Yoruba middle and upper class have more drug tainted individuals than other tribes. This is in stark opposite to the average young hustler from the east stereotype hoping to eke a livelihood.

Yorubas are also known for armed robberies, serial rapists, touts, gangsterism and ritual killings. The self description of a sophisticated race is nothing but a myth. Yoruba politicians are touts and quick to use violence to attain power. Compare the Osun elections to that of Anambra. There were over 10 candidates of significant weight and sway in the Anambra elections but not a single case of political violence or death was recorded in the build up to the election. Compare that to the Osun elections with cases of violence and recorded deaths over some back water voodoo enclave position. The police intercepted some government sponsored touts from Osun who where sent to cause mayhem. They are still rotting in jail as I type.

Here are a list of some other notable Yoruba cultural contributions to Nigeria;

1. Omonile (a bunch of lazy touts claiming indegene harassing property developers for money)

2. Face me I face you architecture. 20 rooms with one toilet.

3. Pure water retailing

4. Tap water retailing.

5. Pomo

6. Danfo and Molue

7. Motor Park touts. Virtually all the touts in Abuja are Yorubas from Osun. Go figure.

8. Ritual killings and voodoo. Hardly is there not any venture a yoruba man does not refer to his voodoo for assistance. Be it wooing a woman or keeping her in check (magun), getting a promotion or getting rid of the competition.

9. Yorubas have the highest GDP of Bastards. Ask Tuface. With 4 baby mamas, 3 are yoruba. Tuface did well to marry the lone calabar girl. Almost all scandals involve yoruba women and hardly is there any celebrity who has a child out of wedlock whose babymama isnt yoruba.

10. Yorubas are dirty. This is not debatable as this is obviously fact.

11. Yorubas invented child hawking.

12. Yorubas use children to beg

13. Yoruba men and women have the highest case of infidelity and divorce.

14. Yorubas destroyed Britain and Ireland with their welfare claiming lazy bums.

You sure don't know what it means to be a Soldier! You talk from the view point of a "bloody civilian"!

How would you react to your war-enemies after witnessing the bloody massacre of your troop? Spare their women and children?

The hero was in a fix. Ojukwu and his cohorts were using human shield to save their arses from black scorpion bullets. Ojukwu was doing to Nigeria what hamas was doing to Israel, using women and children as shields. These are cowards acts and Nigeria will not accept such bullshit. Biafra had to be crushed no matter what the same way hamas has to be crushed. If Ojukwu himself cared, he wouldn't have embarked on a foolish war using women and children has shields.
It's unfortunate that innocent died, many killed by hunger though, however I choose to blame the man that declared a war.
The truth is biafra was to Nigeria what hamas is to Israel conflict wise.

Obasanjo concluded the task with professionalism and less hatred. He received the instrument of surrender from Phillip Effiong and supervised the protection and free passage of those in serious need. He did his job. There's ethical requirement in every task.He gained overwhelming votes from the former Biafran enclave when he returned to governance. You cannot compare him with Adekunle.
What makes you think Adekunle wouldn't have done the same?

Dat fool is either evil or just does not understand that evil has no race or tribe. Anything Odekunle does and use tribe or race to justify, he will do to people from his own tribe given the chance and say they are not his family as justification. The boy is a learner.

Right and wrong cannot be compromised, likewise 2 Corinthians 6:14 ►Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

A lot of Igbos out there were actually sired by the s'emen of General Benjamin Adekunle, a.k.a Ekun Oko Yiibo, a.k.a Black Scorpion.

The Nigger not only killed and maimed Igbos, he also sexed their wives and daughters consensually too. He and his cohorts planted their seeds in a lot of Igbo holes during the fratricidal war.

About 60 percent of Igbo kids born within 2 years following the civil war were bastards in the most unalloyed sense of the word. Most of these kids grew up without a father figure while the rest were cruelly murdered in cold blood by their unforgiving, heartless Mothers who couldn't bear the shame of nurturing bastards.

When you see an academically inclined and smart Igbo person, there's a 99.9% possibility that he or she was conceived from the s'emen of Yoruba Soldiers like Benjamin Adekunle and the rest...or invariably, a progeny of such conceptions.

I wonder why you loathe Yorubas so much?

I think you have Adekunle's blood in you via your mother!...A fact you have refused to live with.

Call your Mother now and ask her questions regarding her paternity. Adekunle could be your Grandfather and you are here insulting his memory.
