The fact that we do not use electoral college system means it is the number of votes cast that will decide the winner and not the no of states won.Consider the percentage of xtians/SS/SE in the north and sw and then compare with the percentage of muslims/hausas/yorubas in the SE/SS and tell me what you see.

That is why Buhari was winning by 50-60% while GEJ was winning by over 90% and ended up winning the election
