If every nigerian musician have music training for at least a year, you will see that they ve being singing rubbish all this lng, you go listen to songs 4rm darey alade, asa, lagbaja, beautiful nubia you will know that music is not all about opening one's mouth to sing. Pls also do take your time and ask how hard music is 4rm pple dat re studying it in universities. Are u not aware that graduates come back to offer specialized courses in education? Do you know of the work opportunity that comes fromAnimal science and fishery? All these courses are very important.

Early childhood & primary education

Early childhood would explore effects of nature/environment-nurture on child development among many others.

Detection of developmental problems, child abuse and learning disability very early helps to prevent many social problems: less truants, criminals, prisoners and ultimately help such kids achieve to the best of their potentials.

You get to see importance of all this in child psychological medicine, which I doubt you have ever been active in.

Failure in this area currently has serious implication for our dear country.

Animal science & research
Exploit animals in better ways to the benefit of man. In a country with protein deficiency especially among poorer families, this couldn't be more important. Same with fisheries,

ADULT EDU:
A large percentage of over 55s in some parts of Nigeria are illiterate. Not all regions had free education like Awo's SW.
Should those adults not be given a chance to be educate. Child pedagogy (art/science of education) is different from adult pedagogy

What you should complain about is the society that doesn't know how to use the knowledge gained in these courses.

MUSIC & DRAMA
Music is more than just playing pangolo or winding waist or gra gra in music videos. Ever wondered why people like Fela remain unique? Well, he actually read music.

Drama is not theatre arts, though with correlations. Drama is more specialised.

In any case, why not further strengthen in an area where we have a comparative advantage (Nollywood) thru education?
