i dont tink Npc is paying salary since its a voluntary organisation 4now, though it as bin place under ministry of interior so dere new salary scale wont b less dan 100k for degree holders

They no longer sell form... They have done their last screening last week and the southwest commandant was there to tell us dey are no longer selling forms till January when probably fed host would av taken over fully... We all are waiting for Buharis signature...... Just hoping.... Even some civil defense and policemen bought the form.... We were almost 800 at the screening.... We just took the risk before it becomes a fed govt tin next year...... Even those inside d system told us to take the risk Dat fed govt will take over next year.... And the budget talks a lot about youth engagement..... Just hoping sha.....

This is a big scam! nobody advertise the job on any medium and yet Nigerian troop in to their zonal headquarter in Lagos to obtain form for 1500, after which you will feel a form with no security features on it ( just a plain white paper with Nigeria flag ). as if thats not enough, they will then do some shabby screening and ask you to pay 40gees for a uniform (that looks like Nysc type of uniform with Nigeria flag by the side to deceive unsuspecting easy to dupe Naija youth ). to show how much they love you, you will then be ask to pay 3k for processing and 2k for dagbo ID card. during all of this process, there isnt any form of inputing your name into any system or data base, jus a sheet of paper (which will be discarded after they must have rip u off of all ur hard earned money.

Naija youth pls dnt fall for this scam all in the name of getting FG job. see this recession as an opportunity and not a curse. you can make a whole lot of income if you invest the 40k you are ask to pay for a uniform ( that wunt guarantee you a job neither will you be post anywhere. no salary will be given to you in NPC. since its existence in 1990 or thereabout the bill is just gathering dust just like the others that has yet to see the light of day in the National assembly).
i know that life is a risk....but this rit here isnt a risk, its a pure scam. and the handwriting is on the wall. this is just an advice you either take it or leave. but remembr you have the right to make a choice without being coarse, but the consequence isnt ur decision to make.

Shun political violence, Melaye urges youths

ON DECEMBER 22, 20161:24 PMIN NEWSCOMMENTS

Sen. Dino Melaye (APC-Kogi West) on Thursday advised youths not to allow themselves to be used by desperate politicians to fulfil their selfish ambitions.

Melaye said this at the end of the year Gala night and award ceremony of the Peace Corps of Nigeria (PCN) in Abuja.



“The youths in the country are change agents because in an unjust society, silence is a crime. The youths should develop their positive dreams.

“The youths should wake up and act fast, as youths we must not sleep and we should not be divided by religion, culture, tradition, and it is time to say bye to terrorism,’’ he said.

However, Melaye said the PCN would not only be relevant in security of Nigerians but instrument to the revolution of Nigerian youths.

He enjoined the youths to always promote the change mantra of the present administration for a better future.

A Human Right Activist, Mr Femi Falana, called for the endorsement of the Peace Corps Bill in order to be an act of parliament.

He said the PCN would be a pillar of social change and growth, advising the organisation to educate and re-orientate youths when passed into law.

“This organisation should go out and mobilise our youths as many of them were suffering from ignorance.

“The youths are been used to stage demonstrations in support of corruption, am challenging this organisation to change some of the wrong mind set of youths,’’ Falana said.

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Solomon Dalung, said the PCN was a significant milestone in the history of youth development in Nigeria.

He said the empowerment of the youths would reduce some of the challenges of young persons in the country.

Dalung blamed the crisis in the National Youth Council on interference by politicians and others not within the age bracket of youths but using the group for their selfish motives.

He urged the youths to change their mind set and disengage from indiscipline and negative values.

The Commandant PCN, Mr Dickson Akoh, said the organisation was solution to the malaise of unemployment bedevilling the Nigerian youths and its attendance to social consequences on the nation.

“It will empower, develop and provide alternative employment for the youths with a view to facilitate peace, volunteerism, community services, nation building and other related matters.

“We will however redouble our efforts in 2017 in order to justify for an act to establish the Nigerian Peace Corps, we know there is always room for improvement,’’ he said. (NAN)

look, people saying that, or doing that, are fraudsters,i just got my form for 1,500 because its not yet online,then i paid 40,000 naria because during your screening a letter will be given to you, in that letter your training items are listed there, which i priced in the market an it very much expensive to the 40,000 you are asked to pay for training,that is total some of 40,000 + 1,500 for form noting added and very soon i will be going for training, other jobs will collect about 100,000 to 400,000 just to give you a place to work.beware of fraudsters. call 09056168880
