which day wey i grow self 2004 i was stil in jss 1 or jss 2 class. that time na the climax of my playing days

that time every holiday means the whole world to me. I could rememba i said "one week mid term break one week of football"

then about the nintendos and them games. Try am for ma house na, see whether you go go out to play again with your friends for a whole week

back then i was a master crafter of things like Kait, paper kaits, fowl cage, mopol bats etc...
So
My peers always beg me to craft a goal-post with donlop slippers as the pillers (bars) of the post then connect left and right side of the bar with a thick broom then i'll go and cut mumsi's poly-bag and place it on top the donlop bars and pinned the polybag down with good brooms.

2 bad all these games we played then including Suwe, Sega, Ending Man etc ar now almost Extinct.

Was an undisputed champion in my compound! 3rd best in my class JSS 1. My class whoops all other classes' asses in competitions.

In class we used smooth lockers or tables and at home, smooth floors.

We'd get special corks for this. We'd go 2 cork producing plants dumps for these corks. They have flat bases, and are smoother and more stable than the ones that had bn used as bottle corks.

In school: Sons, Obumneme, Felix-formidable opponents.

At home: Chigozie, Kingsley, Sunday

@bolded, we used music cassette spools. I still regret how many of my dad's good ol song collections I damaged while collecting different colours of those pair of miniature spools to use as balls. I sold them too especially the coloured spools. Thank God for the internet, my old man can get his songs back!

In my area its called 'Cantas'..empty Sardine tins were used as goalposts while matchboxes stuffed with paper or cardboards were used as keeper. Before you score you have to say 'set' so your opponent can adjust his keeper, closing one of his eyes to check the target very well
