Wise words, nobody must tell you to vote or not to vote. But think about your future and that of your unborn generations. Don't allow some group of people who have no impact into your life to decide for you. As an original omo Yoruba!, no group of self centered people can't think for me!. I will own up to my vote. In 2011, I wasted it because I thought he had no shoes but let me try this illiterate and no certificate man. God uses a fool to teach the wise lesson sometimes. |

chibecanglobal: Check the names again before deciding. They are all PDP members masquerading as Yoruba elders. Its funny how our brothers from the east underestimate the level of exposeure and intelligence of the Yoruba nation and its people. In my home town Ibadan there's a saying that: "Ibadan lo mo, o month laipo". Meaning you only know Ibadan you don't know Laipo. Another one is that "bo ri oju mi, o ri inu mi" or "Oju mi lo mo, o month inu mi. If you can see my face you can't see my mind or you only know my face, you don't know my mind. If the likes of Akala, Omisore, Doyin Bastard Okupe are the remaining yoruba elders then then Yoruba Nation would've been better off without elders. Please is Peter Obi now a Yoruba elder? Na wao. 1 Like |

Haba! These people can't claim to speak for the Yorubas, the most sophisticated tribe in Nigeria! Even a blind man can see that participants at the meeting were PDP, either by name or association. I don't respect them at all as they are part of the problems facing Nigeria! Olu Falae for instance, served and defended Babangida's regime that initiated the decimation of Nigerian values and orientation and elevated corruption to state policy! 1 Like |

papalumi29: Don`t mind them. That`s why the group splited into two. We also have the Afenifere Renewal Group. To even see that Peter Obi former governor of Anambra state was part if their meeting is ridiculously laughable. They are not going to vote for me and my family. So, they should only pledge their votes for President Jonathan. They have lost their relevance. They have not even spoke against the #ekitigate. We are wiser now. 1 Like |

THE FIRST AND FORMOST THING TO BE DONE IS IMPLEMENTATION OF VITAL ASPECTS OF THE REPORT OF NATIONAL CONFERENCE. The votes should be given to the contestant that will do it. That's the real and expected change people should consider. Not by shouting and securing cheap support which may not do the country any good. |

Read what Barr. Femi Falana (SAN) who attended the same CONFAB with them said about the CONFAB report they are hinging their support for GEJ on. www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2015/02/27/supporters-of-jonathan-in-south-west-self-serving-femi-falana/ They are only after their pockets. How can Omisore of all people be my leader. Bola Ige was a member of this Afenifere before he was killed. To even think that the same Omisore assaulted Bola Ige before he was kilked shows that `Chickens are already eating the intestine of one another.` |

kalohkaloh: If I may ask you, do you think apc has good plan for this country when the party asked all it's members to pull out of the national conference which members were drawn from all parties, numerous groups and associations deeply concerned about the way forward? |

papalumi29: So you can believe constitution is of no need for a government to perform. If that is possible you can be making sense. NATIONAL CONFERENCE WAS CONVENED TO CHECK THE IMBALANCE, INJUSTICE AND OTHER BAD COMPONENTS WITHIN THE EXISTING SYSTEM. |
Re: We Won’t Forgive Buhari – Some South West Leaders Endorse Jonathan by Rexyl(m): 7:39pm On Feb 27, 2015 |
tess1: You just expressed conflicts of interest and the needs to make a choice among all odds. Apc or Pdp, all the leaders are found wanting one way or the other. No one of them has a clean record, but we must just conclude and make a choice. For every choice made there must be reason. |
Re: We Won’t Forgive Buhari – Some South West Leaders Endorse Jonathan by tess1(m): 7:41pm On Feb 27, 2015 |
Rexyl: Yes, they have good plans and we can see that in the state they are controlling right now. The pull out of the CONFAB because it`s waste of money and time. We`ve had some in the past with them not seeing the light of the day at the end. There was no sincerity behind this as well. Otherwise, what was the reason for raising another presidential conmittee to study the report and recommend the implementations of the report since July 2014? Why didn`t he pass the report directly to the National Assembly to do that if he meant well for the report? He`s now using that to campaign for votes in the South West. Why is he not using that to campaign for votes in other region? Or is it that it is only South West that is going to benefit from the Report? Afenifere are only fighting for their pockets not for Yoruba race. 1 Like |

Rexyl: No, you still don't get it, that was not a true conference, it was a party time!, those representatives were selected by the government!. If he were true to his words he ought to have implemented the recommendations. But Barrister Falana and other well meaning Yorubas had warned us. I want a true and well meaning conference in which the representatives are elected not selected!. |
Re: We Won’t Forgive Buhari – Some South West Leaders Endorse Jonathan by Rexyl(m): 7:52pm On Feb 27, 2015 |
tess1: Asking question as if you don't know interests of people are divided and presently the houses are mostly concerned about securing posts or making efforts to be relevant. If the report was thrown away, the struggle for better future will continue for years. |

kalohkaloh: So Tinubu, Ambode, Ajimobi, Aregbesola are the ones that can speak for the Yorubas right? The problem I have with APC is their insincerity. If these people had endorsed Buhari, it would have made sense to you. Time will tell. |
Re: We Won’t Forgive Buhari – Some South West Leaders Endorse Jonathan by WisdomFlakes: 8:05pm On Feb 27, 2015 |
Evidently, the National Conference was simply a ploy by GEJ to blackmail participants, especially those from the South West, to back his re-election. But we know he can't simply implement the report without the National assembly's passing and endorsement of the bill, which will not happen coz Northerners, who comprise the bulk of the members in the house of reps, have reservations about of many of its recommendations. In short, GEJ knows the report/bill won't be passed by the NA let alone get to his table for signing. These so-called Yoruba leaders know that as well but they've been heavily bribed and compromised that they've become Agbayas. |

Re: We Won’t Forgive Buhari – Some South West Leaders Endorse Jonathan by WisdomFlakes: 8:16pm On Feb 27, 2015 |
IdrisAdebiye: Bro, the reason why we "ALL" won't is coz like previously organized conferences, e.g. OBJ's, they were all setup to fail. GEJ wasn't sincere about his true motives for organizing the conference. Fortunately, a lot of prominent Yoruba politicians saw through the ruse and consequently refused to participate. It was practically a well executed blackmail ploy by GEJ for the purpose of his re-election. I urge you to read Falana's recent critique of the endorsement to better understand what I'm driving at. Jonathan is promising what he knows he can't and won't deliver. Worst yet, his endorsers know this and are playing along thinking we are fools. 1 Like |
