Vickybee: Phoebe wasn't a deacon. Deacons were only 7 males. Phoebe was a minister. A minister is a preacher of the good news. Priscilla and Aquilla were also ministers. Never in the Bible did a woman speak before a synagogue or a church. |

Airforce1: Vickybee is not a feminist, she is a misandrist that needs therapy. As a psychologist that has worked in poor third world nations like Zimbabwe, Namibia, etc etc, I understand Vickybee's case. It is not uncommon. I have been successful with worse cases. She probably was abused as a child or she had such horrendous experience involving a guy or guys. She must not be mistaken for a feminist. If in the end, we discover she has no such horrendous experience(s), then, we can conclude that she is just being ignorantly headstrong. We will leave her for time and future experiences to teach a serious lesson. 3 Likes |

MzNelly:Wtf? Women can't work 12 hours on a construction site? Babe, there are women who can, just like there are men who can't. Seriously, what are you talking about? Some women beat up men everyday. Wow! Sleeping around is also a yardstick for measurement? And I thought I've seen and heard it all. Now why is it okay for a man to sleep around and it's not for a woman? This is part of what we are talking about, you still haven't said why this should be accepted. A bunch of evil men, made the society this way with their useless religion, traditions and ideas and we are asking for indisputable reasons why this should be, instead of giving them to me, you are telling me to accept it because a man(who you still haven't told me why, he is superior to me) said so. Girl you are almost not making sense. 6 Likes 1 Share |

sacredheart:Bravo! Keep it up... The truth is that no one gives what he/she doesn't have. There's no B without calling first on A... Is this generation better than the past in marriage, relationship with Man and God? So why do you people think that it's better and call it a CIVILIZED one? Are the present women better than the past? Education and civilisation teaches no pure honey morales. Answer the questions then you will have a better understanding. God created all and there were perfect before people like you came into existence. When anyone seek for what is no hers, it will definitely burn them. The oldie is a time of regrets/rejoice... Just wait till that time comes then we SHALL see. |

Ilekeh: Can you see the dates on these "legislations" or whatever they are? They're at least 20/30 years old, they've been around for a long time, nobody had a problem with it back then, why the renewed onslaught by these so called feminazis, what are they still fighting for, what do they want? Though I disagree with a few of these legislations but if they were the bedrock of feminism, then there will be no problems, most men will even support it but unfortunately, it's not. The new generation feminism is about causing chaos and providing avenues for weak, heartbroken, bitter women to take out their frustrations on men whom they perceive as their enemies. If you want to be a man so bad, go for a sex change OP, they'd take out your vagin*a and construct a peni*s for you. If that will make you happy, go for it. All I see is women trying to covet everything that belongs to a man, I don't see men doing the same. 3 Likes 1 Share |

is it just me or does this mznelly sound more and more like a man with every post of hers/his? lol, na wa o, I know its not hard for men to come online and act like women because their crippling self esteem issues won't let them accept that males and females are equal. |

I don't need feminism because receiving special treatment based on your gender is exactly what feminists claim to dislike' which makes it nothing g more than hypocritical ignorance. I don't want feminism because the will to be equal to men in every aspect does not kill spicders, carry things that are heavy or protect me. I also really enjoy cooking and cleaning. Feminism simply does not make sense. There are things men can do that women cannot, as there are things woman can do that men cannot. That will never change. So cohabitate, use your skills to help each other and do what makes you happy. You do not need superiority to live a happy, fulfilling life. |

Vickybee: So your dad is going to let you get married to a man just like that, without getting something in return hahahahahahaha don't kid yourself young girl, that ain't happening. You just like every other Nigerian girl shall be traded for something. You wanna be true feminists, start from there. Charity begins at home, convince your dads to stop placing a price tag your heads like a commodity. You can't pick and mix, you want to adopt a foreign ideology, you've got to adopt it in its totality. 2 Likes |

liquidmetall:There is a thread on here about it, do well locate it or you can try Google, I don't have that kind of time especially not for something so obvious. I don't know why you people keep using Nigerian women as a reason why feminism is bad, if you understand feminism like you claim to do, you would realize that the said women and whatever they do to make you say something good is now bad, aren't feminists. Can something right be wrong at the same time? |

freecocoa:I am not surprised it's a joke to you my sweetheart but I know it will only be a joke when you are seen by the spectators (everyone) as a leech in culling a marriage and every younger Tom,Dick and Harry need to eat their locust with the honey with you. Marriage is not meant for every woman (man as the case may be)... Both in marriage and outside marriage, equality in gender is vague but any man who walks up to you to bridge your integrity outside a TRUE relationship should be dealt with. Thanks. |

chumakk: @bold, how about the countless rapes and genocides and mass killings and terrorist bombings and child molestations and armed robberies men have been commiting since the beginning of time? hmmmmm?? why shouldn't we share the blame for all this disgusting acts on the men of today since y'all want to take credit for the acheivements made by men of yore. if men are superior because they contributed more to building the world in the past, then that superiority would be cancelled and nullified by the psychopathic acts and crimes they have been carrying out right from time. 1 Like |

liquidmetall: Lol @ they took it to China. China has suffered. I for one, share a handful of sentiment with the feminist ideology. But, I'm always vulnerable to fail in such debate especially when references are made from Bible and mostly supported by religion. Most feminists that I know are either Atheist or Agnostics. I find it hard to comprehend when a strong Christian/Muslim believer are supporting feminism. I think it's contradictory and hypocritical to their belief. I stand to be corrected though. |

Vickybee: You didn't answer my question. Will your dad give you out in marriage without collecting anything in return? It's inconsequential how rich he is, this is Nigerian tradition/norm, so will your dad break from this tradition? Well, you can go on deluding yourself, like I said previously, you'd eventually outgrow this fantasy phase. 2 Likes |
