Qur'an is in Arabic while Friday is an English word hence there is no English word Friday mentioned in the Qur'an but Jumu'ah which is Arabic word for Friday. But it is in the Translation of the Meaning of the Qur'an as Friday. Actually Sunday is the worship day for the pagan sun god so it was a pagan day of worship. Although this is adopted by the Christians but neither the bible nor Jesus made Sunday as the day of worship to the followers of Jesus.
