thank you so much for the reply, but pls let me ask this question? Is it because I didn't have Company account I can't be given visa?Even when my invitee state it that he is sponsoring me over and he would also take care of trip, ticket, accommodation, transport, shopping and in even send (£500) for me to take with me in case of any emergency which is not likely because he would pick me at the airport. on my part i have a shop that am selling printing materials and a have letter if allocation including tax card and also I have a personal account covering 6 mount with bal of 400k, i also have various receipt I received from buying materials and also a land. so pls let me ask can they refused me because I didn't have company account? or CAC?pls I need an urgent answer. thanks

Your company is barely one month old and you have not started paying Federal Tax to the Government. It can't stand as a tie to your home country. It is only through your company tax clearance certificate the ECO can evaluate the size and financial strength of your company to determine if it is subsisting to bring you back after your visit.

Please exactly how much is the fee for tier 2 general visa? I am having difficulty reconciling the fees i see on the Gov.Uk site for surcharge and the visa itself with what appears when i try to complete my application process; the difference is quite much.
Secondly, with a certificate of sponsorship, do i also require evidence of 1 month maintenance fund?
Thanks guys

Hello Justwise, Please I have visited the UK twice which was in 2011 while studying in Malaysia. Been fully back to Nigeria since 2013 but want to visit the UK now. I dont know if it is advisable to apply for a 2 years visa or just another 6 months. I had a 6 months visa then.
Thank you

Hello House, I will be writing a professional exam in UK very early in June, when do you advise to start my visitor visa application?
Thanks in advance.

1. Nobody here can give you definite answer for that.

2. Yes you can do that.

3. No wait until you have the new passport out hand because you will need the details.

4. That will depend on how much you earn monthly and how much you tend to spend in that 10 days holiday

You have the required documents that should qualify you for the visa, however the onus will be on you to convince the Entry Clearance Officer that you'll return back to your home country at the end of your stay without breaking immigration laws.

Applicants for visitor visas are viewed as intending immigrants until they can convince the ECO that they are not. You must therefore be able to show that you have reasons for returning to your home country that are stronger than those for remaining in the UK. "Ties" to your home country are the things that bind you to Nigeria, or current place of residence: job, family, strong financial prospects that you own or will inherit, investments, etc.

Work out a prudent but realistic budget for the duration of your stay so we all can analyse it, because ECO will use this to determine if your spending commensurate with your monthly earnings.
