pls guys I'm new to PC.I bought, the HP Compaq nc6230 from a friend so I installed some games and I used to browse with it, through my android tethering.but after I finished deleting my friends account and opened mine.all d games wia deleted and can't browse through my phone again.it keeps telling me offline.pls hellp!!! |

samolina1: does work with a memory stick ? how many usb port in total ? have u try your devices on another computer when you click the + sign right click on each of them and look for properties then power management. if no joy Restart the computer. When the first screen displays, press F10 repeatedly until the setup screen displays.Use the Left Arrow and Right Arrow keys to select the Advanced tab. Now use the Up Arrow and Down Arrow keys to select Legacy USB Support . Press Enter , select Enabled , and then press Enter . Press F10 to save settings and exit. The error message should no longer display. look for hp update on your computer and install all update |

samolina1: go to device manager and right click each of the device underneath universal serial bus controller and click uninstall them and restart your pc wait for the drivers to install itself then test. Try the usb device in safe mode and see if it would work. use f8 on startup to get to safe mode and restart to log back to normal windows have you enable the usb legacy support in the bios ? |

samolina1:Download teamviewer and would find a time to provide remote support connection. The usb port that works ok does it work with the devices i.e., phone, usb stick and printer |

They can work with any device that have power adaptor, but, they don't work with anyone that draws it's power from the USB hub and i did some test and detected it seems the power supplied to them are not enoug. How can i connect with you with Teamviewer? |

samolina1: Given all the diagnostics you've carried, my advice is to get an externalusb hub. connect it to the port that works and connect your other device through the external hub that way the problem is resolve. I'm not satisfied to go ahead with the remote support. Sorry ! |
