Sauron, what is Yaradua achieving? |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Fhemmmy: 9:30pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Sagamite: During Idiagbon, people started to queue for things and they still do. During the time of Idiagbon, people started to clean 1st Saturday of the month and they still do. During Idiagbon, stealing money was with caution, but during the time of OBJ, it was done with the help of EFCC |

Sagamite: The failure of Yar"dumb shd be blamed on OBJ cos he elected him |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sagamite(m): 9:32pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Fhemmmy: If this is the achievements you will list for a government, honestly, I don't debate at this level. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sauron1: 9:37pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Sagamite: Putting Nigeria back on track. . . . .Where Abacha left us. . . . Sagamite: Things were terrible before Idiagbon. Shagari's regime was plagued with corrupt politicians and senseless politicial violence. There was a reason Buhari/Idiagbon took over cos Nigeria as at then was on a slippery slope.
There's no place like home. . . . OBJ did not improve Nigeria one jot. . . . .He ruined it. A Nigerian quoted by the UNDP's human development report in 2002 remarked: "When we were in the military regime, we didn't get anything from the government but we had peace. Now we are in a democracy, we don't get anything from the government and we do not get peace". That pretty much summed up OBJ's regime. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Fhemmmy: 9:40pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
~Sauron~: Yu have said it all. more pple goes to bed hungry. more coys are leaving Nigeria. even ordinary call centre has to use generator. shiorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sagamite(m): 9:41pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
~Sauron~: Thank you. And dancing to "Staying Alive". ~Sauron~: No, mate. Before OBJ we all wanted to settle in USA or UK. Now we are all looking for that sweet job back home that did not exist before OBJ. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sauron1: 9:45pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Sagamite: Blame the economic recession. . . . .Nigerians in diaspora have belatedly realised they are better off in Nigeria. There will be a massive migration to the West again once things pick up.
Sweet job? Do you know how many Nigerian youths that are jobless as we speak? |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Fhemmmy: 9:47pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Sagamite: people wanna go back home all cos of the recession, cos cost of living in Nigeria is far better than anywhere else, and if they can take their 10K$ or even max their credit card, they can settle and the fact that they are "Tokunbos" they have a better chance than the Nigeria breed. So this has nothing to do with OBJ. Most people are even going home to start pure water biz, so where is the job there? |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by PastorOla1: 9:50pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Point of correction pls OBJ did not make Umaru Yar'adua President God did on the judgement day both OBJ and YAR'whatever will answer Baba GOD based on the opportuinty given to both to better the of lifes of Nigerians which failed to do. This is not OBJ's Government It is Yar'adua's please. A change is coming to our Great Nation It can not continue this way |

Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Fhemmmy: 9:52pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
ikeyman00: OBJ fukc Nigeria up and it will go down in the history that he was an slowpoke. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sauron1: 9:53pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Fhemmmy: Sagamite knows the raw truth. . . .He is just fibbing. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by ikeyman00(m): 9:59pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
if your yeye obj mean well why then he handed over to yaramugu rabadu de scare am oduduwa i punch una for face make de hold me oo |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Fhemmmy: 10:00pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
~Sauron~: I thot as much too. ikeyman00: OBJ was a total slowpoke, and he has single handedly ruin the nation. History will surely judge him. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sagamite(m): 10:02pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
~Sauron~: The trend was there well before recession. Recession only accelerated it. You want to blame OBJ for the mass of circa 28-38 yr olds without a job? Was it his regime that wasted their development or was it IBB and Abasha? |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Fhemmmy: 10:03pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Sagamite: Cos OBJ has helped drive Naira to a level where almost everyone in diaspora in now a millionaire in naira, and since when u come Nija as Tokunbo, everyone wanna do biz with you and all that, so that was all that made the processes to be there and nothing that OBJ did. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sagamite(m): 10:04pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Fhemmmy: So why did they not want to do the same in the 90s? Or was cost of living in Nigeria then higher than the West? Credit cards were not in existence then? They were not Tokunbos then? Maybe they were Ramotas? So how come you think it has nothing to do with OBJ? Please don't fib if you answer. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sauron1: 10:05pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Sagamite: I disagree. . . . .As at 2007, no one thunk about relocating to Nigeria to look for any job
The average Nigerian graduates at the age of 23 Subtract OBJ's 8 years of failure from that and you get 15. . . . .Of course, this was more OBJ's fault than IBB or Abacha. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sagamite(m): 10:10pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
~Sauron~: I disagree, mate. That was the talk well before the recession after the bank consolidation and Telecomms revolution. ~Sauron~: A higher % of uni graduates of recent have jobs than in the 90s. Everyone I know either works in a bank or telecomms. Thanks to OBJ policies. In the 90s, most uni grads I knew were employed in unemployment and expected it well before graduation. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sagamite(m): 10:11pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
The overall fact remains that Nigeria was in a rot in all aspect before OBJ. He repaired some and did not repair some but did more than all previous presidents, as they only made ALL worse. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sauron1: 10:14pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Sagamite: Democracy brought those changes. . . . .IBB as a democratic president would have done more.
How many graduates were lying fallow in the 90s compared to what we have now. You are looking at actual value not the employment ratio. . . . . . What is the ratio of employed graduates to the unemployed in the 90s compared to 2009? If only you know the number of graduates our tertiary institutions are rolling out every year. . . . . . |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Fhemmmy: 10:17pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Sagamite: OBJ met Nigeria in a bad state, and he left it in terrible state, so what difference does it make ~Sauron~: Ask him. cos now 95% of the graduands cant get a job. Now university can take care of the students anymore. Even the lecturers are worse than ever. In the time of Buhari, the employee of govt at least work a lil compared to now, that none works at all, they dont even go to work, cos they have a morally bankrupt man as a leader. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sagamite(m): 10:18pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
~Sauron~: You havin a laugh, bruv! ~Sauron~: No, I am looking at the ratio of professional and psuedo-professional jobs existing within both eras. Yeah, OBJ regime incubated and encouraged the expansion of such institution and there viability. Feel free to add it to his achievements. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sagamite(m): 10:20pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Fhemmmy: Conjectures galore! Please provide facts and figures for the above bolded. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Fhemmmy: 10:22pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Sagamite: How many of them were fired lately and was re-hired? |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sauron1: 10:24pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Sagamite: Professional jobs? There were lawyers, engineers, doctors, etc in leading institutions before OBJ came into power. Granted, more Telecom companies and Banks sprang up in OBJ's time but that had to do with democracy than the pig in power. Jabba The Hutt as a democratic president would have yielded the same results.
OBJ did not, Democracy did. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sagamite(m): 10:24pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Fhemmmy: Is that your fact and figures or should I be patient and you are getting to it? |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by babapupa: 10:24pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
If this is the achievements you will list for a government, honestly, I don't debate at this level. What he said impacts people and their state of mind, anything that forces people to think twice before doing something is a good thing. Idiagbo and Buhari was a missed opportunity. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Sagamite(m): 10:26pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
~Sauron~: No, mate, OBJ's policies did it. |
Re: Obasanjo F@#ked Up This Country by Fhemmmy: 10:30pm On Aug 14, 2009 |
Sagamite: Tell me, how many were let go and re-hired, when in the history of Nigeria has that ever happened? How can some lecturers not be working for months and the leader/president just dont care? lemme tell you why, cos they dont care, and cos u have said that he lacks good government, that was what you said. babapupa: Tell him pls |
