Nigerians is calling for the removal.
Giving immunity to other arms of govt will be "anti-people". I know you guys don't care about the masses but you can't succeed in amending the constitution if you keep bringing on selfish agenda like this.... Two previous Senate failed because of this same reason; you guys seems to have forgotten so soon.

Yes, there's something wrong with blacks.

Don't you support crooks too?.... Are the members of the executive not crooks?
I started working with you bush monkeys over 30yrs ago and it's been the same idiocy passed on from generation to generation and it seems like it's always the same group of people that are hell bent on drawing the others back. Haven't you seen where your parents failed? Why tow the same line of hate and intolerance? You are all the same in every country I've been posted to: More want progress but a minority ,but extremely vocal, and unbelievably illogical few, always try to pull others down.

Your country needs to fund education massively in hopes that the next generation will get it right because you guys are already lost beyond redemption.

canvass of removal of immunity for everyone and you'll see the whole country behind you.

I have analyzed this issue properly, its better we maintain status quo. The executive( Preseident and Governors only) are the ones working the legislatures dont do much they shd have time for court cases. If you remove immunity from Executives, there will be too much distractions especially in a country like ours, every tom, dick and harry ( especially the proudly 5%) will sue buhari because of the hate they have for him.

The Constitution GIVES Immunity. All ELECTED Representatives of the People GET Immunity directly from the Constitution. So The President and The VP, The Senators and The Reps and The Local Government Counsellors all have automatic constitutional immunity. The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Head of the Judiciary, is appointed by Mr. President. He should have been selected from NASS to be ELECTED just like The Senate's President and House Speaker. Now, The Chief Justice has no immunity

Now, lemme ask.. If the legislooters enjoy immunity, when will they pay for their sins? Eg..David Mark was SP for 8yrs[if Buhari had not won election, he'ld still be there] and he has been in the Senate for over 16yrs...if we r to wait till he leaves the senate b4 dealing with him, it means we ll wait forever..cos this man wld love to be there till death says otherwise.

Plus, it has been observed with dismay that most of these governors, after spending 8yrs looting their state's treasury, tend "to seek asylum" in the Senate. For goodness sake, imagine these conglomerate of looters having immunity..just imagine it. Not even one of them(SP) is imaginable. angry angry

The Executive(Buhari & co) on the other hand can only be there for a maximum period of 8yrs after which they can pay for their crimes(if any).
Zombie read d story well before defending Buhari,he said immunity for d Senate President,CJN,and Executive,he didn't say all d senators want immunity, only d Senate Leadership and d Chief Justice of Nigeria,or they would remove Immunity from d executives, you should be fighting for immunity to removed from d executives and not always defending nonsense

No he will rather look for his own.

Accounrding to Late Gani Fawehinmi SANM (Senior Advocate Of Nigerian Masses) Obasanjo was the Architect of the immunity clasuse added to the constitution in 1979 constitution.

I think Saraki should canvass for the removal of the IMMUNITY CLAUSE for everybody.

Then, we will support him for once.

Dude!!! Use 3D glasses and read it again....

Response like yours comes up when you are prejudicial or bias.... He never said for all THE LEGISLATOR but ONLY THE SENATE PRESIDENT and ALSO THE CJN ( Chief Justice of Nigeria).

The immunity clause as stated in section 308 enjoyed by executive officers is itself a fraud and injustice to Nigerians . It is an absolute shield from moral , civil and criminal offences against the state or any individual.

Ayo Fayose in public glare can shoot you dead with a gun and as long has he is governor would not suffer the consequences, if he went on to be President for two terms a new born child would be in secondary school before he can be charged to court.

See how u are displaying ignorance proudly! A senator can be senate prez indefinitely as long as he remains in the house and as long as his colleagues choose to vote for him as such. Read more, speak less!

Also it would be constitutionally illegal for NASS leadership to enjoy immunity while other senators don't. They have an equal right and the leadership do not enjoy any form of veto

I know u know the truth. But bias and wailing wont allow u to speak it. U know very well that a senator can be there for life, stop sticking ur head in sand
The ridiculous thing Is also that the Senate already have the power to impeach the executives when they deem fit, as far they operate in 2/3. Same goes for States house of Assembly.

They want immunity for heads of the three arms not members, emphasis on Heads. Read and understand before commenting.
