Hello mamas. I am a bit confused. I had my period on the 9th of this month only to wake up today to bleeding one week earlier than my usual period comes. This has never happened. Its not implantation bleeding because from all I have read its supposed to be very light. Mine is light but not so light. I have not filled one pad(sorry tmi) I don't have any symptoms at all just the bleeding.

Then its likely u had a short or annovulatory cycle..my dw is like u...all her life as she said...usually 28 to 31 days cycle..but she has had this type of short cycle twice now...within the last 12months.
I think its more common just that ttc makes us track every cycle n thus remember every detail

Thanks. I am sure its not cos the bleeding has increased. I have always tracked my cycle length ever since I started having periods. This has never happened before.

Go and see a gynaecologist , run the necessary tests and get the answers you seek.

Sorry about your breakup dear. May God comfort u ( Amen). I really do not understand what u wrote. Did the contraceptives stop your period from coming or the abortion. If it was the contraceptives, it probably messed up with your hormone and I will advice u go for hormonal profile ( day 3)or see a gynaecologist so u can know where d problem is coming from. And I pray God gives u a man who will stand by u no matter what. Take care dear.

Sorry..not every man can handle such info.
Would advice u to go for a complete fertility check..uterus.tubes.hormones.
So u can know if the abortion n contraceptives caused some harm..
Dont feel too bad...na who holy pass.
If u r in abuja..bodycheck clinic performs such comprehensive checks...generates a report and helps u tackle it.
Its beta u sort this issue b4 u enter another serious relationship......cos guilt n worry will continue to weigh u down.

And by the way, u tried to conceive for 8 months only so do not conclude anything is wrong. Some ppl who didn't do abortion, try for far longer before they get pregnant. Could be caused by other factors like fibroid, infection, blocked tubes, cysts, PCOS, male factor, spiritual reasons or just that it's not their time yet.

So, my dear, don't despair or be depressed. Stay calm, get married and try again with faith and medical assistance. There is a lady I know that did only one abortion too with her fiance. He later left but not because of the abortion. The lady is married today with a son (to another man). So please keep hope alive. Take care

Don't really know, but this vets can be so annoying, till Monday, please if you can take him to another vet oh. A snake once spat in our dog eye, he barge into the house and was really sick, we saw his eyes and immediately gave him lots of Palmoil, the vet came two days later and injected him, but he was already doing good by then.

Nobody is a saint, I have huge admiration for ladies who were celibate before marriage.

God has showed you mercy. And the only person u need to tell or confess to is God , and as long as you have a broken and contrite heart God won't despise you. The sin of abortion is a terrible one that leaves one with a terrible guilt but you have to learn to forgive yourself first.

Before entering marriage I was advised by experienced wives and mothers not to disclose everything abt myself to dh mst esp the very sensitive things. They told me the things they told their dh out of love and sincerity even before marriage was used against them in marriage, they claimed they were mentally,verbally and emotionally abused and they regretted their actions. Thankfully when I tried to tell dh about my past relationships he didn't want to hear, I attempted severally and he said he didn't care about the past. Even now in marriage am grateful I didn't, I now undastand.
I am not saying it's not right to be sincere to ur DH all am saying is u shld apply wisdom. Some men have been in relationships, slept with countless ladies , gotten several girlfriends pregnant and forced them to abort yet they go in search for virgins as wives and are the first to cast the stone when they are as filthy as rags secretly; how hypocritical is that?
I knew 2 ladies in university days that aborted for their boyfriends and both have 4 kids in their marriages though not with former boyfriends ; Isn't God merciful,God's mercy endureth forever. Yet I have friends who didn't have relationships or abort before marriage yet are also still trusting God for children.
Don't get me wrong, am never in support of abortion but a lot of women have been cheated and deceived in relationships and hence the reason they did abort out of shame of what people will say.
I have a friend who was a virgin till her late 20s and she met this guy (a big boy in an oil producing company) unknown to her the guy was deceiving even though he had introduced her to all his family members and was talking about marriage ,she got pregnant for him and he insisted on abortion, she refused, I supported her decision 100 % though I blamed her for certain things mst esp for not using protection, she's a single mum now; as the guy was financially very comfortable nothing shld v stopped him from marrying my friend but he was just playing games unknown to her.
Go do all the neccesary analysis to ascertain the state of ur uterus, tubes etc. If there sth really wrong, start treating it early for all you know maybe the contraceptives only messed up ur hormones. Please just abstain in ur next relationship, it pays better to abstain and be prayerful and trust God, avoid contraceptives and sex; If after the analysis theres a permanent damage from the abortion ,please be wise to mention it to ur future God sent husband before marriage that you most probably will encounter issues conceiving naturally based on the present state of ur body and if fortunately there isn't any damage after the analysis , well for me there's no need mentioning it to ur future God sent husband, God already knows abt it and God only deserves to know as God is ur creator.

@ frankdoho, I did hsg in one diagnostic center and was told I had adhesion of the uterus and I took it to the gynecologist who ask I repeat the test somewhere else, behold the tubes are patent.

Hello dear. I read your story when it hit frontpage but couldn't comment. The other mamas have spoken well, please heed their advice .
My 2 cents on your issues is, if you are a Christian please go do Thanksgiving in church cos you dodged a bullet....and most likely a lifetime of misery.
Why do I say that? Any man that puts a condition on marriage doesn't love you. Simple plain truth. Your ex-boyfriend telling you to get pregnant first before marriage is a clear sign you are not meant to be together..

That said, stop the pity party. Go to a good hospital and run the necessary fertility tests. If you are certified ok, keep your past in your past! Your own husband would find you.

Are you having fibroid/ovarian cyst? Apple cider vinegar(ACV) and organic blackstrap molasses(unsulphured) is your best bet. You can check previous threads on that or alternative to conceive thread. I see u all sisters (fin).... So I have rehearsed how I wld announce my bfp on dis wonderful forum a couple of times, the wait was an amazing journey, bitter and sweet, but above all I am glad to say I have conquered TTC big time. Gosh it still feels like a dream, sometimes I ask my self If am truly pregnant. So I am 5 weeks and 4 days today. Am taking things easy, aside from my hubby, my mum, and my sibling no one else knows yet.
My marriage ll be 7 years come next year and we have been trying even b4 we got married, so it's been a long journey, and I sld point out dat ours was unexplained fertility issue, aside from d fibroid I later discovered three /two years ago which I was told wasn't even disturbing conception, I did iui with st Ives it didn't thick like four years ago, we were already saving up money for ivf with the bridges I have even called to book an appointment, I called on few close relatives to help with d cost of d ivf.
Financially we Cldnt avoid d ivf we already planned on selling a piece of land we own and one of d cars,in short it was already on d market,and I must say dat prior to now dat we decided to go for ivf I had almost given up on myself and even my marriage, I was already planning to relocate and than call hubby to move on, that am not interested again, not that he has not been supportive o, I just got tired of every thing.

@ frankdoho, I did hsg November last and it was concluded to be adhesion of the uterus and I took the result to my doctor but he refused the result and ask I repeat it somewhere else which I obliged and the second result concluded patent tubes. All I will defeat soon in Jesus name is pcos. So I suggest you repeat the tests before you commence treatment. Hope this clearify? Ciao

@ fullofregrets I will say cheer up, the bible says ' let he who is without sin be the first to cast the stone' nobody deserve anything from God if not for grace and that grace is what we seek from him, I don't support abortion but at least you were able to get pregnant once, u will be pregnant again when it's your time, what about those of us that has never been pregnant before? What is our own sin? My dear everything is grace the bible even says ' I will have mercy on whom I choose to have mercy and I will have compassion on whom I choose to have compassion'.
