There is no other tribe in the history of Nigeria that practices tribalism better than the Yoruba. It runs their vein not just in their blood, but Joe Igbokwe has not been able to see this glaring fact, after spending close to a century in Yoruba land claiming to be an intellect. A process involving an Yoruba can hardly be completed without tribalistic intentions displayed. However, their supports for this irresponsible and tyrannical government is tied to certain key positions they have clinched upon since the beginning of this incompetent administration. Yet, Joe has failed understand this, blaming the entire Igbo race for lack of support, even when they are not represented in the government like other tribes. At this juncture, it's pertinent to tell this immature boy (Joe Igbokwe) in an adult nature, that spending his life time in Lagos does not make him an indigenous of the state no matter how hard he tries to impress his pay master. His day of regrets is imminent. |

WilyWily post: [b]Fraudsters jailed over £20 million credit card scam Two fraudsters have been jailed over their part in a £20 million credit card scam, after a vigilant retailer became suspicious about online orders placed with his music store and contacted the police. By Martin Evans 4:13PM GMT 23 July 2015 Nigerians Gboyega Akinbola, 36, and Oyetunde Oyedeji, 31, went on a spending spree worth an estimated £60,000 after buying the credit card details of more than 1,100 people from an international hacking syndicate. The pair, who had registered as students after arriving in Britain, were only caught when Moss Hills, owner of the Stagebeat music store in Guildford, Surrey, noticed Akinbola's delivery address was different to the one on his card details and became suspicious. Launching his own investigation he managed to trace an email address for Akinbola, hack into it and uncover evidence of widespread fraud. He then passed the information onto Surrey Police and the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA), who launched Operation Prince to smash the international network. The investigation uncovered a vast scam involving more than 200,000 stolen credit card details and leading to the biggest retrieval of compromised data in UK law enforcement history. Related Articles McDonalds skimming scam 23 July 2015 Two of the alleged ringleaders of the conspiracy were later picked up by police at their homes in Egypt and Vietnam. Jailing Akinbola, from Barking, Essex, for three-and-a-half years and Oyedeji, from Woolwich, south-east London, for two years at Southwark Crown Court, Judge Christopher Hardy said the investigation had uncovered a "shocking hole in the banks' credit system". It is believed hackers around the world had been able to steal credit card details including passwords from British banks before selling them on to criminals, including the Nigerian pair. Judge Hardy said Mr Hills should be recognised for his "ingenuity", awarding him £500 reward from the public purse. He also recommended Akinbola's deportation but made no such order against Oyedeji, who married a woman with UK citizenship and has been given leave to remain as a student. The court was told that Akinbola also entered the UK as a student and worked as a night time security officer. He also tried to enter into a sham marriage to secure his status in the country. Akinbola and Oyedeji pleaded guilty to charges of fraud, admitting the plot totalled around £30,000. Detectives believe the total figures could be much higher however. Trevor Pearce, Executive Director of SOCA, said: "As a result of national and international co-operation, SOCA was able to dismantle a worldwide organised crime network dealing in huge quantities of stolen credit card data. This was an excellent operation that resulted in the biggest retrieval of compromised card data in UK law enforcement history." A source at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) said the FBI is particularly interested in Mr. Makinde, who is currently standing trial in Ondo State, because of the peculiarity of the scam method which involved remotely breaking into the accounts system of an online payroll company in California, Intuit Inc. When contacted, the spokesperson of the EFCC, Femi Babafemi, declined to speak in details about the case but our source also said that the EFCC and the FBI have been working together on this case since last year adding that while the FBI would like to try Mr. Makinde in the US, the EFCC want him tried in Nigeria. Amongs other charges in the 23-count charge brought against the 26-year old, the EFCC said that Mr. Makinde managed to manipulate the American online payroll system to deposit cash in his Intercontinental and Ecobank accounts in Nigeria. “He installed malicious codes in several victims’ personal computers with which he fraudulently stole their bank information to steal $600, 000,” an official document obtained by NEXT said. “Because of that boy, three FBI agents came to Nigeria in October. They wanted to see the person that could carry out this deal offshore,” our source at the EFCC said. The accused, Mr. Makinde, who also goes by the aliases Olaniyi James and Andrea Bradley, recently graduated from the University of Ado Ekiti with a degree in Economics and is scheduled to take part in the compulsory National Youth Service scheme. He however remains in the custody of Nigeria’s anti-graft agency which said that if convicted of the over 20 count charges brought against him, Mr. Makinde could serve as much as 60 years in jail. |

33xtr33r: EPIC REPLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just love it. You forgot to mention the times Nigeria made world record in terms of crime, it has always been Yoruba. The highest ingested cocaine by an individual to traffic was a yoruba woman The first beheading to happen in Britain during the terrorist fights was two yoruba men. The Most wanted by FBI have all been prefominately yoloba. There region is currently the most criminally infested region The biggest biggest 419 ring discovered in USA were predominately yoloba. Let's not forget Yoruba are currently the poster woman and child of ISIS. I heard man too but unfkrtubately, I've yet to read a story about him so I would love someone to link me about that one so I'll learn more Let's not forget the second Nigerian linked AL Queda was a Yoruba. Infact, if una watch deadly woman...it's a TV show. A Yoruba girl made the list. You have to be the most wicked, savage, person for your story to make it into that show and guess who so far the only African to do so. UK currently hates Nigeria and want the population gone because of them. The worst set I've seen who always try to highlight other people "crimes", yet they are worst. |

WilyWily post: [b]The US justice department @TheJusticeDept tweeted a link just now. The content of the link follows thus: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Monday, July 13, 2015 Six Yoruba Nigerians Nationals Extradited from South Africa to Mississippi to Face Fraud Charges Six Yoruba Nigerians nationals were extradited from South Africa to Gulfport, Mississippi, to face a nine-count federal indictment in the Southern District of Mississippi alleging various Internet fraud schemes. A total of 20 defendants are charged in this case. Assistant Attorney General Leslie R. Caldwell of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division and U.S. Attorney Gregory K. Oladimeji Seun Ayelotan, 30; Rasaq Aderoju Raheem, 31; Olusegun Seyi Shonekan, 33; Taofeeq Olamilekan Oyelade, 30; Olufemi Obaro Omoraka, 26; and Anuoluwapo Segun Adegbemigun, 39, are charged along with 15 others in an Oct. 7, 2014, indictment with conspiracy to commit mail fraud, wire fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to commit identity theft, use of unauthorized account access devices, theft of U.S. government funds and conspiracy to commit money laundering. The charges stem from the defendants alleged participation in numerous Internet-based complex financial fraud schemes, including romance scams, re-shipping scams, fraudulent check scams and work-at-home scams, as well as bank, financial and credit card account takeovers. According to the allegations in the indictment, from as early as 2001, the defendants identified and solicited potential victims through online dating websites and work-at-home opportunities. In some instances, the defendants allegedly carried on fictitious online romantic relationships with victims for the purpose of using the victims to further certain objectives of the conspiracy. For example, the indictment alleges that the defendants convinced victims to ship and receive merchandise purchased with stolen personal identifying information (PII) and compromised credit card and banking information, to deposit counterfeit checks, and to transfer proceeds of the conspiracy via wire, U.S. mail or express delivery services. To date, defendants Teslim Olarewaju Kiriji, 30; Olutoyin Ogunlade, 41; and Dennis Brian Ladden, 75, have been convicted of offenses relating to their roles in the schemes. The United States is seeking extradition from Nigeria of defendants Kayode Bamidele, Ajayi Oluwaseyi Stephen and Emmanuel Adeniyi Osokomaiya. Defendants Gabriel Oludare Adeniran and Oduntan Sikiru Lawani remain fugitives. The charges and allegations in the indictment are merely accusations. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. This case is being investigated by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. eyeview: Then we need to pardon Igbokwe for his gaffe then. Even in Yoruba land, we are majorly objective. Fayose, FFK, and OPC chieftains comes to mind. These attacked Tinubu ferociously for supporting Buhari. But who's more biased? A region where the two political gladiators had a 55%-45% counts or one in which it was 95%-5%? In all honesty, we can't continue to lampooned the former of being biased while we try to "celebrate" the latter of being objective. That will be standing logic on his head. |
Re: Joe Igbokwe: Igbo Ethnic Bigotry And Hate Campaign Worry Me by 36xtr09r: 2:42pm On Jul 16, 2016 |
Olabestonic001: Be sincere and objective, at least for once... It's no gainsaying over the decades Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis have proven to have voted along tribal lines. Not so with the Igbos. For the Hausa-Fulanis, in 1979 Igbos voted for Shehu Shagari against Zik. And in 2007, Igbos voted Yaradua. For the Yorubas, in 1993 Igbos voted for MKO Abiola against Tofa/Sylvester Ugoh. In 1999 and 2003 voted Obasanjo despite the unfair manner Alex Ekwueme was edged out of the race and who was actually better off. For the Ogbia/Ijaw, Igbos voted GEJ in 2007 against other Igbo candidate. Igbos built ties, formed alliances and voted for Northerners and Yorubas to enable them get the presidency even at the expense of Igbo candidates. That's an indisputable fact! Yorubas had the presidency for over 11years with Obj ruling in the democratic dispensation from 1999 to 2007 (8 years without breakage). When Ojukwu contested in 2003, how many Yorubas and their Northern masters voted for him? How many votes did the Northern Muslims give GEJ in 2011 or 2015? Who has complained about that? It's pathetic you lots go about with the propaganda that Igbos are tribal in voting and hate others simply because Igbos didn't not join Yorubas to vote for 'CHANGE' in 2015. Yet Igbos have been far from political power for some 50 years counting. If the Igbos hate Fulanis then Igbos wouldn't have voted in Shagari in 1983 or Yaradua in 2007. Yorubas shouldn't expect Igbos and Easterners to deludedly Kowtow to their whims and caprices and follow sheepishly in voting in whatever candidate they present. |
Re: Joe Igbokwe: Igbo Ethnic Bigotry And Hate Campaign Worry Me by Olabestonic001(m): 3:14pm On Jul 16, 2016 |
36xtr09r: Igbo's have really tried. But, does that mean they now should hate Yoruba's for a vote that was 55%-45% tied? Isn't it appealing how most Igbo's lampooned Yoruba's as if they voted 97% for PMB? In my own family, it was a 50-50 thingy between GEJ AND PMB. So, why would someone accuse us of things that's not ours? And pls, don't bring to my notice any undoings before I was even conceived against any Igbo. We must really move forward from this painment of PDP lost in 2015. Let's begin to see the "political products" you'd like us to buy in 2019. Pls, endeavor to market a candidate that shares our interest and not one that will try to use blackmail to get our vote. I'm a Yoruba man, I know we don't ever fall for blackmail. A blackmail makes us to pursue whoever you're blackmailing. Kindly bring a candidate that will ensure a Referendum is embedded in our Constitution. One that will let us forget PMB's lopsided appointments. One that will tell us what we stand to gain from his government. And pls, don't try to blackmail us. We'd go with the other party. I know you've been a lead advocate of Ndigbo interests but you've largely not done it well. Stop attacking Yoruba's at the slightest opportunity. Start marketing a candidate you know could help us divide Nigeria as you so wished. But, pls, blackmail won't make us support you. It will only help us awaken the hatred you harbor. Its still early in the day for someone like you Xtorse, to channel all hatred against Yoruba's to love for Igbo. What Ndigbo needs most now is to market an awesome candidate to us all who can help us rejig the system and enhance Ndigbo to seek her divorce from Nigeria and not enemies for the "feeble" but strong Yoruba's. So, what the next 1 year, I want you yo use all your energy to market that candidate to us all and just desist from your hatred against Yoruba's. 1 Like |
Re: Joe Igbokwe: Igbo Ethnic Bigotry And Hate Campaign Worry Me by 36xtr09r: 3:49pm On Jul 16, 2016 |
Olabestonic001: There's nothing like painment or channelling any hatred to Yorubas as regards 2015 general election. For IGBOS DON'T HATE ANYBODY SAVE YOU'RE A SWORN ENEMY OF JUSTICE, FAIRNESS AND EQUITY. As soon as PMB was sworn in as president Igbo leaders were the first to visit Aso Rock to congratulate and pledge their support for him. Immediately Yorubas and their cotravellers were all over the media ranting and abusing Igbo leaders for making such visits. IGBOS DON'T NEED YORUBAS AND THEIR COTRAVELLERS IN ANY CAPACITY TO SURVIVE OR EXCEL. Igbos are not interested in the presidency to realise a separate existence from Yorubas and their cotravellers. And very importantly, Yorubas cannot determine for Igbos how to go about self-determination, not even when many Yorubas are still wallowing in illiteracy, abject poverty and squalor. Yorubas should stop propagating lies and falsehood and demonising others just to ensure the continual free flow of crude oil wealth from another's backyard, lopsidedness, marginalisation, nepotism, treasury-lootings, Quota System and bloodletting in the land, and still shout the loudest, screaming 'One Nigeria' and at the same time grandstanding carelessly and senselessly that Nigeria's unity is not negotiable. Should I remind you the sort of wickedness and evils Yorubas have committed against the Igbo Nation including willful destruction of Igbo business premises? Yorubas should mind their business and leave Igbos alone. It's rather pathetic that many Yorubas are not concerned about the ethnic cleansing going on in their backyard and the hate messages being preached in the mosques coupled with the unconscionable, cold-hearted waste of human lives and reckless destruction of means of livelihoods in the North, Middle-belt and South. Yorubas are not so bothered about the marauding herdsmen who maim and kill but would hypocritically and callously tag IPOB members who pose no threat to citizens as miscreants and criminals worth hanging in the gallows. Yorubas should stop whining, weeping and wailing on every available media page at the mere mention of Biaf... or NK. Let today, July 16, 2016, mark a turning point in your lives to stop disturbing Igbos with your senseless and endless whining, weeping and wailing on every available media page at the mere mention of Biaf... or NK as if your whole essence in life is being taken away from you. Advise your Yoruba folks to channel their energies towards having a separate existence from Igbos. Many Igbos are ever willing to contribute their quotas to the speedy realisation of that quest. Igbos won't miss Yorubas at all. Convey the message to every Yoruba person to steer clear of Igbo's quest for nationhood. Let's see if NL will from today begin to experience some relative peace from the incessant whinings against Igbo's quest for a separate existence. For self-determination is an inalienable right of ANY people. Freedom seekers seek freedom until it's achieved. They don't allow others define them to suit their interest and narratives, or permit the oppressors and abusers of human rights to teach them, the oppressed what human rights are.
