Episode 7

Kim was tired of staying in doors so she had decided to go swimming.

She was tired of ignoring Denzel's calls.

She was tired of ignoring her husband.

She knew that she had to get her life in order. And any choice she made was either going to make or break Hailey's life.

This was going to be difficult.

She pushed the thought out of her mind.

Right now, she was here to treat herself.

She wasn't going to stress herself thinking about something that would put her mind in disarray.

She took a sip from her cocktail. She was feeling really sexy. It had been a long while since she felt this way.
She was wearing a one piece bikini which showed off a lot of skin.

She stared the time on her phone. Hailey would be closing soon so she had to leave.

She stood up and packed her phones from the table. Taking one last sip from her cocktail,she turned around to leave bumping into an hard wall.

She was about to shout at the person when her mouth dropped open in shock.

It was Denzel.

He was glaring at her. "I see that you have been avoiding me right?" he said still frowning.

Kim didn't know what to say,"I have been busy " she lied, and she knew that he saw through her.

" You are lying" he said flatly.

Kim placed a hand on her head, she didn't know what to do.

"Denzel I am not ready to destroy my family " she said plainly. It was better he knew that now. She had Hailey's life to think about.

Denzel held her hand, drawing circles on her palm." let's sit and talk kim" he said seductively.

She stared into his eyes, lost in them, she replied "okay"

He led her back to her sit. She "You look really sexy" he said hotly and Kim felt heat rise up her face.

"Thank you " she whispered her heart beating hard.

" You know how much I want you, that can't be over emphasised, so what else do you want? " he said softly.

" I want a good life for my daughter. I have her life to think about. This is not about me anymore. Damn. This is not even about my husband. This is about Hailey"
She said hotly.

"I can take care of Hailey, I see no reason why you would think I can't, I would be the best father to your daughter "Denzel said convincingly.

Kim wanted to believe him.

She wanted to believe him so bad, but she was scared.

Scared that leaving her husband might be the greatest mistake she would ever make.

Denzel was really sweet. He treated her in ways that her husband couldn't.

Although he showed her signs that he wanted her, he had never tried kissing her.

He was more of a gentle man than her husband could ever be.

Ralph had had sex with her on the first day he had met her, but Denzel was different.

She was carried away with Denzel that she had forgotten to pick Hailey up from school.

When Kim eventually got home, Ralph was sitting next to Hailey who was crying so hard.

And Kim realised her mistake.

She had forgotten her daughter at school.

Immediately Ralph laid his eyes on her, he walked up to her, grabbing her arm.

"What the heck is wrong with you? " he stormed out causing Kim to shudder.

"Can you just calm down" she said pulling her hand out his grasp and walking away from him.

She went straight to Hailey and knelt down, taking her small hands in her's.

"Baby, I am so sorry, I am really sorry " she said kissing her cheeks.

Hailey was still crying," mummy you left me behind, I was the last student to leave the school. I was so scared mummy. You left me" she said between cries.

Kim tried wiping her tears but Hailey pushed her hand away.

"I don't want to talk to you " she lashed out angrily, walking away from her.

Kim sighed. Now her daughter hated her too.

When she stood up and turned around she saw Ralph observing her with his arms folded.

He wasn't saying anything.

She felt stupid.

" Ralph, I.... " she was cut short by Ralph.

" No more lies, I have some where to be" he said, walking out on her.

Ralph brought out a cigar. He had been craving for a smoke badly.

Jessica held his left hand, bringing it to her lips.

"Ralph, I hate seeing you like this, she doesn't deserve you, all she makes you do is think, I am tired of seeing you this way"Jessica said angrily.

Ralph raised a brow "and you do? ' he asked angrily.

Jessica shrugged.

" All you did to me back then while we were dating was cheat and lie, so what makes you any different from her? "he asked plainly.

Jessica looked guilty," I was always there for you, that's what makes me different from her, in fact, I am still always here for you " she said softly.

Ralph laughed bitterly," I see" he said eyeing her up. She was almost wearing nothing.

She was wearing a white turtle neck crop top that hugged her chest like a second skin and a black bum short that barely covered her ass. She had a gold chain round her waist that emphasised her tiny waist and the wide span of her hips.

He had other plans, "let's get out here" he said standing up.

Jessica jumped up on her feet, eager to leave with him.
