McBeal10: this is just like me basically, that is the reason i try to engage somethings whenever i fear my thinking is getting too much. and funny thing i dont like too much talking, i belief mine is crazier, because thinking have put me in a lot of troubles in the past. well i think its normal some of us are just like that, but then i still fear the possible medical complication |

sisisioge:There is a scientific research, published in a peer-reviewed journal, on intelligence and happiness and the verdict is that intelligent people are way sadder than average folks because, among other things, they tend to think too much. Anyway, here is the point I made in my post which you seem to have missed: She wondering if she is okay is a sign that she is not finding an outlet for her overthinking (this can be due to either laziness or want of the requisite skills) and that is decidedly a problem. You saying she is cute and all obviously missed this; that is, you missed the fact that she is being happiness but isn't having fun! That’s what I sought to address. Oh, yes, happiness is relative, but that’s another matter. Please call me anything but “dude” if you choose to reply. I’m way too old for that word. Biko. Thank you for your cooperation. |

I was so much like you while growing up, I got lost many times in wonderland, imagined so many things, when life felt sad for me, I will just crawl into my wonderland and think (imagine) myself as many things, it gives me that feeling of El dorado. but the dangers inherent in it is that it limits your active life, instead of stepping out to do something, you just lazily imagine yourself doing that thing, it hindered me a lot. but on the positive, it helped my creative side, cos I drew and painted artworks, at sometime, I even drew up a novel where the lead character was a female Nigerian president who was a subject of many assassination attempts by many chauvinistic men, couldn't complete it, cos my big brother used every slightest reason to beat and humiliate me at will, flogging me with high tension cables. he tore the manuscript and forced me not to continue, and I had to for fear of being flogged like a common criminal. so my advice, enjoy your wonderland, but go out and do something. good day |

You have ANXIETY NEUROSIS/DISORDER. OR What is termed OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER. If not controlled, could produce varieties of medical symptoms that would make you think you have some grave illness. See a neurologist. |

I have been that way since secondary school days... Back in JSS when I usually had bad results, I would just sit somewhere and be lost in my dream world, seeing myself standing on a stage one day and becoming highly sort after. It was so real in my head mehn that I would just be smiling like this smiley Guess what? It came to pass that my fortune turned and I became a star in school from JSS3 to graduation; making straight A's in all the subjects every term... Won platinum, gold, and bronze medals. Got state, national and international honours. Graduated as the best student in my set. I am the deadliest introvert you can ever meet (except you are a fine girl of course ). I can sit with you and be in Russia working with a team of hackers . All these shiit vary from person to person; they are fvcking alright. Yea, I fvcking hold conversation with myself; I argue with myself to the point that I would tell myself, "Asshole! That's fvcking wrong mehn! That's not the way this thing is done.". I explain things to myself audibly until I get them vividly. Sometimes during these conversations I would have to tell myself "Wait! Wait!" because ideas literally flood my mind at a rate that I can't fvcking keep tab with. That's not really 'thinking' as in 'worrying', but a strong imagination in manifestation. 3 Likes 1 Share |

RadicallyBlunt:At the bolded why? Just curious tho. 'cuz someone told me that sometime ago. I think too.Infact i've always known myself to think alot to the extent i started acting out dramas and laughing out with the people/thoughts in my head.Which would seem to people as talking to myself. It even got to a point that someone asked me if i'm a witch that talks and laughs with demons i had to quit for a while but i started all over again. So what's wrong with talking with oneself. |

[quote author=JuanDeDios post=52449960] There is a scientific research, published in a peer-reviewed journal, on intelligence and happiness and the verdict is that intelligent people are way sadder than average folks because, among other things, they tend to think too much. I really think she's cute( that's me not bothering my pretty head about the psychology of different temperaments and dispositions) . Those who want to channel their energies and intelligence into leaving a legacy for others are mostly geniuses whose life are kinda boring except for work. If you ask me, I would say playing is more interesting than working...I would say, lazing is more interesting than diligence. Don't blame me oga, I'm not a dull girl... Remember that theory about humans and work? |
