If he had decided to breakup with his girlfriend over her infidelity that would have made more sense. He should have been mature enough to look elsewhere for love because her actions showed that she was not in love with him and so she was not worth his anger.
He will now regret this action for the rest of his life (assuming he doesn't get the death sentence ).
With his gun he ended both his and his girlfriends life. A very foolish act.
