Hurrah! Baby Sienna's umbilical cord finally withered, and came off. I feel better - I was always a bit anxious when I picked her up, in case it snagged and caught on something sharp.

Looks very different to see her navel as it should be. She's doing well, and didn't cry, even when her navel was cleaned up. Tomorrow, her birth is being registered, she'll then exist in the system, which will now make it possible for us to apply for her passport, and open a bank account for her.

We're moving on!
